Secret recipe for treating hernia and Ben Tun (a syndrome characterized by Qi rushing from the lower abdomen to the chest and throat) in infants:
How is hernia caused? It arises from pathogenic wind invading the Kidney Meridian, flowing through and causing blood stasis, gradually forming a mass. Cold Qi accumulates in the Zang organs, resulting in pain in the lower abdomen. This formula contains no tonifying herbs.

Manis Squama (Chuanshanjia, crushed, stir-fried with Ge Fen until swollen, remove Ge Fen, 2 liang), Sinapis Albae Semen (Baiqianniu, 1 liang, stir-fried), Corydalis Rhizoma (Yanhusuo, peeled, 1 liang), Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chenpi, remove white pith, 1 liang, stir-fried), Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum (Muxiang, 1.5 liang, not exposed to direct fire), Sulphur (Bo Shang Liu Huang, 2 liang, stir-fried), Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex (Houpo, peeled, 1 liang), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, 1 liang, stir-fried), Sinapis Nigrae Semen (Heiqianniu, 1/2 liang, stir-fried).
Grind all into fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, on an empty stomach, mixed with warm wine. If the disease is located in the upper body, take after meals.
