Diseases of the teeth are caused by the steaming and steaming of the fire of the Spleen and Stomach. Every morning, or at any time without restriction, strike the teeth thirty-six times; then the Qi will naturally consolidate, and worm decay and wind pathogens will dissipate. If it is difficult to strike due to diseased teeth, simply use the tongue to gently lick between the roots of the teeth, using softness to control hardness, allowing True Qi to penetrate the bones, so that decay will naturally be eliminated. The Jade Immortal said: "To cultivate the Great Dao, one must first eliminate dental ailments. Continuous tooth striking ensures firmness and health. Although this seems simple and easy, it is also a crucial aspect of self-cultivation."
Excessive thinking leads to the consumption of Spirit, deficiency of Qi, and dispersion of Blood, resulting in graying temples. During the Zi (11 PM - 1 AM) and Wu (11 AM - 1 PM) hours, hold the Gu (Fist) mudra, sit upright, concentrate the Spirit, cut off distracting thoughts, and keep the eyes glowing inward. Gather the two Qi, ascending from the Weilu point along the Jiaji channel to the Niwan Palace, descending through the Chonglou (throat/trachea), returning to the Yuanhai (Lower Dantian). Rest for a short while, and naturally both form and spirit will become exquisite, merging with the Dao. The Zhang Immortal said: "Why worry about graying temples? Practicing this for a long time allows one to accumulate merit like grains of millet to form the Elixir, breaking free from the cage to wander the Three Islands. Its efficacy is..."
Sit in empty tranquility in the lotus position, condense the breath to lift the body, rotate the eyeballs twelve times, close them tightly then open wide to drive out pathogens. Perform this five to seven times every night; the cataracts or visual obscurations will naturally disappear, and vision will become twice as bright as usual. Before attaining immortality, the Xie Yi Immortal suffered from eye diseases. After abstaining from sexual intercourse and practicing this method, he was cured immediately, so he passed it on to benefit future generations. This is because deficient evil and hot qi damage the Liver Meridian, causing visual obscurations. The method of rotating the eyes not only removes dimness but, over time, enables one to see fine details in calligraphy and painting. Gazing far into the distance, occasionally seeing golden flowers flash, is the movement of Dao Qi.
When pathogenic wind enters the brain and deficient fire attacks upward, it causes dizziness and vertigo of the head and eyes, as well as lateral or frontal headaches. Stroke with aphasia or hemiplegia may also result from this. To treat it, lift the body, hold the breath, cover the ears with both hands, shake the head five to seven times, visualize the Primordial Spirit, and guide it counter-clockwise up to the Niwan Palace to expel the pathogens. Naturally, the wind will dissipate and pathogens will leave. The Zhang Yuansu Immortal, before attaining the Dao, suffered from dizziness and headaches. Using the Huan Dan (Returning Elixir) method, he recovered in less than ten sessions. This method is not only for treating illness but should be practiced when healthy to replenish the Sea of Marrow, purify the Spirit Palace, and serve as a gradual approach to longevity and enduring vision.
