治诸般疥癞疮。
马 铃子（一两半，生，为末） 白矾（二钱半） 硫黄（三钱，二味别研）
上以清油匀调，涂手上搓热，呵之，以鼻嗅翕其气，其疮自安。
治恶疮肿如梅李、小豆者。用∶
吴茱萸（一两） 小蒜（二两）
上研合，敷之日三换，以好为度。
治多年疮口不干∶冬瓜叶，焙，研末贴，累效。
治奶痈。
蛇蜕（一钱，烧灰） 甘草（半两，炙为末）
温酒调下。如已破，用前药以生油涂。
一方∶皂角烧灰，蚌粉，二味和匀，酒调服，仍用手揉散之。
一方∶收五月五日粽箬烧灰，调酒服即散，累有效。
又方∶马鞭草，酒擂，炒如椎，碎，姜一块，带热服一二碗，就以滓 患处。
治水衡疮，栀子一个去穣，入白矾一块，于内火中烧之，连壳矾为末，涂疮上，仍先用
水洗净掺药。
治疳疮，炉甘石火 ，醋淬为末，油调搽，加香茶孩儿泥尤妙。
一方∶生银杏捶碎搽。（亦可治阴虱。）
一方∶黄柏、鸡子清，和炒三五次，为末，清油调搽，湿则干掺。
又方∶橄榄一个，全用，烧灰，油调搽。
治一切头上疮，熟煮鸡子黄，炒令油出，以油将轻粉和匀敷之。
一方∶平胃散一帖，入轻粉，清油调敷之。
治口疮，甘草、白矾等分为末，噙化。又研吴茱萸，醋调涂脚心。
又方∶五倍子为末掺之。
又方∶治三焦有热，口舌生疮，疼痛不可忍者用。
上以朴硝、五味子、滑石、黄柏蜜炙、白矾枯、黄丹炒、寒水石 、玄胡索等分为末，
掺疮上，良久立愈。
治诸肿毒痈疽，已溃令愈，未溃令消。用∶
上用草乌一味为细末，井花水调涂。肿处留疮头勿涂，破者不可涂疮口，或加芙蓉叶尤
妙。
治肾风阴囊痒，手又白。上用猪尿胞，火炙令熟，空心吃，盐酒咽。又用糯草，将皂角
在草内烧烟熏之，十余遍即愈。吃药可服清心莲子饮。
治缠蛇丹，灶心土干研，清油调涂。
一方∶糯米粉和盐同嚼，唾患处。
一方∶上绣铁丁，磨水搽。
又方∶马兰丹草擂，醋搽之即痊。
蛇头指痛不可忍，臭不可闻。上用蜈蚣一条，焙干为末，猪胆汁调搽。
又方∶黑豆生用为末，却将黄栀子壳一个，纳豆末于内，笼缚在指头上即安。
恋眉疮，猪腿筒骨五根或七根，生打开取髓，入铜铫熔却旋旋随多少入白胶香末，搅匀

治咽喉，用川升麻一两重，煎水一碗，口含一时许，却吞下，三服愈。
又方∶用白矾枯讫，置地上，少时出火毒，以口噙化妙。
治缠喉风，肥皂角一条，去子、细锉，用清水一大盏浸、研，绞取浓汁，入生麻一呷箸
，搅匀顿服，以鹅毛频搅咽中，吐涎为度，然后用解散风毒药治之。
又方∶白药磨醋，噙，吐出毒涎妙。
治重舌，白矾生，谷丹飞过，五倍子为末，用蜜调涂舌上，少顷用水嗽之，再涂，以安
为度。
又方∶蒲黄少许，搽舌上即消。
治舌肿硬闭塞闷乱，百草霜、食盐等分，井花水调涂舌上愈。
又治喉闭重舌，朴硝、白矾为末，掺入口中。又用好醋磨胆矾，噙，吐涎妙。
治反胃∶反胃之疾，十有九死，非药不效良，因辄强以食，或饮以羹汤，是速其吐。今
得其
炒香干啖之，一点汤水亦不与，三日后竟不复吐，饮食如初。治方用∶
上以甘蔗捣汁七升，生姜捣汁一升，打和，分作三服。
一方∶枣子一个去核，裹全斑蝥一个，用文武火煨毕，去蝥用枣，空心服之，白汤送下
。又取驴溺汁，每日服一盏妙。
治反胃九仙饼

白芍药 甘草（炙）
上等分为粗散，每服三钱重，水一盏半，煎至八分，去滓服。不拘时，日三服，疾止则
已。
治消渴神效丸
密陀僧（二两） 黄连（去须，一两）
上为细末，蒸饼糊为丸，梧桐子大，浓煎茧皮，盐汤或酒或茄根汤吞下，一日五丸，
日增五丸，至三十丸止，不可多，渴止勿服。
昔旅店有客患此病，夜求水不得，酌釜中汤饮之而愈，旦往视之，乃缲茧汤也。又方
∶用雄牛穿鼻木烧灰存性，为末，酒调服，或锉碎煎汤服之，数服见效。
治小便不通，乌 木皮煎汤，调下五苓散立通。如无药处，只以 皮煎汤亦可。
又方∶荆芥九钱，大黄一钱，煎服妙。
治大便不通及老人风虚秘结。上用陈皂角烧灰存性，以碗盖在地下一宿，空心酒下立通
，或以萝茯子擂，冷水下即通。
又方∶大黄九钱重，荆芥一钱重，空心水煎服即效。
又治大小便不通经三五日者，用不蛀皂角烧灰，以米汤调下五钱即效。
治小便出血，以车前子根叶，多取净洗，取汁频服，可通五淋。
治沙石淋，痛不可忍。上九肋鳖甲一个，炙酥令脆，研为末，酒调服一匙，以效为度。
又方∶土牛膝净洗一握，水五盏煮至一盏，以滓以麝香、乳香少许，研细调服。
又方∶黑豆一百二十粒，粉草豆寸锉，新水煎，乘热入滑石末一钱，空心服。
上用平胃散，每服五钱重，加龙骨一钱同煎，空心服之，数服见效。
又方∶白梅烧灰存性为末，入麝香少许，酒糊丸桐子大，熟水吞下五十丸。
治白浊、小便浊频甚者。上用陈冬瓜仁炒为末，空心米饮调下五钱许，多服见效。
又方∶白茯苓四两，猪苓一两，水一碗，煮至半，去猪苓，用茯苓，焙干为末，熔蜡，
丸弹子大。每服一丸，早晨细嚼，用灯心、枣子、麦门冬煎汤送下。或服萆 厘清饮。
治久患脾泄，生姜四两，黄连一两，二味锉碎，一同慢火炒令姜干脆，深赤色，去姜用
黄连，为末。每服二钱，空心茶清调下，或服前黄蜡丸亦效。（见痈疽方。）
治水肿，黑豆煮去皮，焙干为末，米饮调服，每服二钱重。
Treat various scabies, leprosy-like sores, and skin ulcers.
*Semecarpus anacardium* (3.75 taels, raw, ground into powder) *Alum* (0.75 tael) *Sulfur* (0.9 tael, the latter two ingredients ground separately).
Mix the above ingredients evenly with refined sesame oil, apply to hands, rub until warm, exhale towards the nose to inhale the vapor; the sores will naturally settle.
Treat malignant sores swollen like plums or small beans. Use:
*Evodiae Fructus* (1 tael) *Allium macrostemon* (2 taels).
Grind and mix the above ingredients, apply to the affected area, change three times a day, until healed.
Treat chronic non-healing sores: Roast *Benincasa hispida* leaves, grind into powder, and apply; this has proven effective repeatedly.
Treat acute mastitis (*Ru Yong*).
*Ophichthus vertebrae* (Snake skin) (0.3 tael, burnt to ash) *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma* (0.5 tael, processed with honey and ground into powder).
Take with warm wine. If already ulcerated, apply the previous prescription mixed with raw oil.
Another prescription: Burn *Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus* to ash, mix with *Concha Margaritifera*, blend evenly, take with wine, and massage the lump to disperse it.
Another prescription: Collect bamboo leaf wrappers used for Zongzi on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, burn to ash, take with wine to disperse; this has proven effective repeatedly.
Another method: Grind *Verbena officinalis* with wine, stir-fry until crumbled, take with a piece of fresh ginger, drink one to two bowls while hot, and apply the dregs to the affected area.
Treat Shuiheng sore (a type of skin disease): Take one *Gardeniae Fructus*, remove the pulp, insert a piece of *Alum*, roast in fire until the shell and alum are charred, grind together into powder, apply to the sore. Wash with water first before applying medicine.
Treat Chan sore (chancre): Calcine *Calamina* in fire, quench in vinegar, grind into powder, apply with oil. Adding *Xiang Cha Hai Er Ni* is especially good.
Another prescription: Crush raw *Ginkgo biloba* seeds and apply. (Also treats pubic lice.)
Another prescription: Mix *Phellodendri Cortex* and egg white, stir-fry three to five times, grind into powder, apply with refined oil. If wet, sprinkle dry powder.
Another prescription: One whole olive, burn to ash, apply with oil.
Treat all sores on the head: Cook chicken egg yolks thoroughly, stir-fry until oil is extracted, mix the oil with *Calomelas* evenly and apply.
Another prescription: Apply one dose of *Pingwei San* mixed with *Calomelas* and refined oil.
Treat mouth ulcers: Mix equal parts of *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma* and *Alum*, grind into powder, hold in mouth to dissolve. Alternatively, grind *Evodiae Fructus*, mix with vinegar, and apply to the sole of the foot.
Another prescription: Sprinkle powder made from *Terminalia chebula*.
Another prescription: For heat in the Triple Burner causing mouth and tongue ulcers with unbearable pain, use:
Equal parts of *Natrii Sulfas*, *Schisandrae Fructus*, *Talcum*, honey-processed *Phellodendri Cortex*, calcined *Alum*, fried *Minii*, *Stalagmitis Lapis*, and *Cyperus Rotundus* (or *Corydalis Yanhusuo*), grind into powder, sprinkle on sores; relief occurs after a while.
Treat various swellings, toxins, carbuncles, and furuncles; promote healing if ulcerated, promote resolution if not. Use:
Grind *Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix* (Caowu) alone into fine powder, mix with well water, and apply. Do not apply over the pustule head if swelling exists; do not apply inside open wounds. Adding *Hibisci Mutabilis Folium* is especially good.
Treat kidney wind causing scrotal itching and whitish appearance: Roast pig bladder until cooked, eat on an empty stomach, swallow with salted wine. Also, smoke the affected area with burning soap pods wrapped in glutinous rice straw for about ten sessions until cured. Taking oral medication, *Qingxin Lianzi Yin* can be taken.
Treat Herpes Zoster (Shingles): Grind dried hearth soil, mix with refined oil, and apply.
Another prescription: Chew glutinous rice flour and salt together, apply saliva to the affected area.
Another prescription: Grind rusty iron nails with water and apply.
Another prescription: Grind *Kalimeris indica* with vinegar and apply; cure follows.
For unbearable pain and foul odor of snake-head finger (felon): Grind one dried centipede into powder, mix with pig bile, and apply.
Another prescription: Grind raw black soybeans into powder, place inside a hollowed-out *Gardeniae Fructus* shell, bind to the fingertip; relief ensues.
For eyebrow-sores: Open five or seven pork leg bones raw to extract marrow, melt in a copper pot, gradually add powdered *Boswellia Carterii* (White Frankincense), stir evenly into a paste.
Treat throat diseases: Decoct 1 tael of *Polygala Tenuifolia* in one bowl of water, hold in mouth for about an hour, then swallow. Three doses result in cure.
Another prescription: Use calcined *Alum*, place on ground briefly to remove fire toxicity, hold in mouth to dissolve; this is excellent.
Treat winding-throat wind (acute laryngeal obstruction): Take one soap pod, remove seeds, finely chop, soak in one large cup of clear water, grind, squeeze out thick juice, add amount of raw hemp seed equivalent to a sip from a chopstick, mix well, take at once. Frequently stir the throat with a goose feather until salivary discharge occurs, then treat with wind-dispelling detoxifying herbs.
Another prescription: Grind white medicine with vinegar, hold in mouth, spit out toxic saliva; this is excellent.
Treat double-tongue: Use raw *Alum*, washed *Mumetallum*, and powder of *Terminalia chebula*, mix with honey, apply to tongue. Rinse with water after a short while, reapply until settled.
Another prescription: Sprinkle a small amount of *Pollen Typhae* on the tongue; swelling subsides.
Treat swollen, stiff, blocked tongue with confusion: Mix equal parts of *Carbonis Caccumen* and common salt, mix with well water, apply to tongue; cure follows.
Also treat throat closure and double-tongue: Sprinkle powder of *Natrii Sulfas* and *Alum* into mouth. Alternatively, grind *Chalcanthitum* with good vinegar, hold in mouth, spit out saliva; this is excellent.
Treat regurgitation: Regurgitation is fatal in nine out of ten cases; only good medicine works. Forcing food or broth accelerates vomiting. Now obtain this method:
Eat roasted dry food, give no soup or water at all. After three days, vomiting stops, and appetite returns. Prescription:
Juice of sugarcane (7 sheng), juice of fresh ginger (1 sheng), mix well, divide into three doses.
Another prescription: Remove pit from one date, wrap one whole *Mylabris* inside, bake over mild fire, discard beetle, eat date on empty stomach, swallow with plain water. Also, drink one cup of donkey urine daily; this is excellent.
Nine Immortals Cake for treating regurgitation:
*Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma* (2 qian) *Costi Rhizoma* (avoid direct fire, 2 qian) *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma* (1 qian) *Arisaema Cum Bile* (washed in ginger juice seven times, 2 qian) *Pinelliae Rhizoma* (...processing missing in text, likely processed Pinellia, 1 liang) *Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex* (soaked in ginger juice, stir-fried dry, 5 qian).
Process these nine ingredients equally into fine powder, expose overnight during clear night weather. Make cakes using decoction of Ginseng and Magnolia bark as binder, size of small coin, chew slowly.
Treat regurgitation where long-term medication fails, and incessant vomiting in children: Grind half a tael of high-quality sulfur finely, mix with 2.5 qian of mercury until no shiny particles remain. Take 3 qian per dose... (text cuts off).
Divine Effect Powder for treating Xiao Ke (Diabetes/Wasting-Thirst):
*Paeoniae Radix Alba* *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma* (processed with honey).
Grind into coarse powder, take 3 qian per dose, decoct in 1.5 cups of water until reduced to 0.8 cup, strain and drink. Take anytime, three times daily, stop when symptoms cease.
Divine Effect Pills for treating Xiao Ke:
*Lithargyrum* (2 taels) *Coptidis Rhizoma* (remove roots, 1 tael).
Grind into fine powder, make pills with steamed dough paste, size of paulownia seeds. Swallow with concentrated decoction of silkworm cocoon skin, salt water, wine, or eggplant root decoction. Start with 5 pills daily, increase by 5 daily up to 30 pills max. Stop taking when thirst ceases.
Previously, a guest at an inn suffered from this disease, could not get water at night, drank boiling water from the kettle and was cured. Next morning, it was found to be silk-reeling water. Another prescription: Burn wood used to pierce bull noses until carbonized but retaining nature, grind into powder, take with wine or decoct and drink; effective after several doses.
Treat urinary retention: Decoct *Urtica Dioica* bark, take with *Wuling San*; urination resumes immediately. If unavailable, decocting *Urtica Dioica* bark alone also works.
Another prescription: Decoct 9 qian of *Schizonepetae Herba* and 1 qian of *Rhei Radix et Rhizoma*; this is excellent.
Treat constipation and wind-deficiency constipation in the elderly: Burn aged *Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus* to ash retaining nature, cover with a bowl on the ground overnight, take with wine on empty stomach for immediate relief. Or grind radish seeds, take with cold water for immediate relief.
Another prescription: Decoct 9 qian of *Rhei Radix et Rhizoma* and 1 qian of *Schizonepetae Herba* in water on empty stomach; effective immediately.
Also treat blockage of both stool and urine lasting 3-5 days: Burn non-moth-eaten *Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus* to ash, take 5 qian mixed with rice water; effective immediately.
Treat hematuria: Take abundant clean-washed *Plantaginis Semen* roots and leaves, extract juice, drink frequently; this can relieve the five types of strangury.
Treat sand-stone strangury with unbearable pain: Roast one nine-rib softshell turtle shell until crisp, grind into powder, take one spoonful mixed with wine; stop when effective.
Another prescription: Wash a handful of *Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix*, decoct in 5 cups of water until reduced to 1 cup. Add a little *Moschus* and *Boswellia Olibanum*, grind finely, mix, and take.
Another prescription: Decoct 120 black soybeans and chopped licorice root in fresh water, add 1 qian of *Talcum* powder while hot, take on empty stomach.
Use *Pingwei San*, take 5 qian per dose, add 1 qian of *Os Draconis* (Dragon bone), decoct together, take on empty stomach; effective after several doses.
Another prescription: Burn white plum until carbonized, grind into powder, add a little *Moschus*, make pills with wine paste size of paulownia seeds, swallow 50 pills with warm water.
Treat leukorrhea and frequent turbid urine: Stir-fry aged winter melon seeds into powder, take 5 qian mixed with rice water on empty stomach; effective with continued use.
Another prescription: 4 taels of *Poria*, 1 tael of *Polyporus*, decoct in 1 cup of water until reduced by half. Remove Polyporus, keep Poria, roast dry, grind into powder, mix with melted wax, make pills size of弹子. Take one pill in the morning, chew finely, swallow with decoction of *Junci Medulla*, dates, and *Ophiopogonis Radix*. Or take *Bixie Qingli Yin*.
Treat chronic spleen diarrhea: 4 taels of fresh ginger, 1 tael of *Coptidis Rhizoma*, chop finely, stir-fry slowly together until ginger is dry and dark red. Discard ginger, use *Coptidis Rhizoma*, grind into powder. Take 2 qian per dose with tea water on empty stomach. The previous yellow wax pill is also effective. (See Carbuncle prescriptions.)
Treat edema: Boil black soybeans, peel, roast dry, grind into powder, take 2 qian per dose mixed with rice water.
