The Liver governs the sinews, and the Kidney governs the bones; when sinews are weak, they cannot bind the bones. It is appropriate to administer Liuwei Dihuang Wan (Six-Ingredient Rehmannia Pill), supplemented with Lurong (Deer Antler), Niuxi (Achyranthes Root), Wuweizi (Schisandra Fruit), and Wujia Pi (Acanthopanax Bark), taken over a long period. Alternatively, Huguo Wan (Tiger Bone Pill) is also effective.
