Damage to the Spleen and Stomach leads to reduced food intake, Qi deficiency, and Blood exhaustion, resulting in amenorrhea. It is advisable to tonify the Spleen and Stomach and nourish Qi and Blood; once Qi and Blood are abundant, menstruation will regulate itself naturally. Avoid using drugs that promote menstruation, as they may damage Middle Qi (the Qi of the middle jiao), causing Yin Blood to become dry further. Mistakenly evolving into Lao Zhai (consumptive disease) would render it untreatable. It is appropriate to first take Jiajian Buzhong Yiqi Tang (Modified Decoction for Supplementing the Middle and Augmenting Qi), followed by Tiaojing Wuji Wan (Menstruation-Regulating Black-Bone Chicken Pill).

Take one white uncastrated black-bone chicken weighing approximately 1 jin. Feed it with glutinous rice for seven days, ensuring it does not eat insects or ants. Strangle it with a rope, dry its feathers, and discard the internal organs. Place Sheng Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix), Shu Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata), Tian Men Dong (Asparagi Radix), and Mai Men Dong (Ophiopogonis Radix), each 2 liang, into the chicken's stomach. Simmer in 10 bowls of good wine over low heat until tender. Remove the herbs from the stomach, then bake the chicken whole with bones using mulberry wood fire until dry. Soak and bake again repeatedly using the previous medicinal wine and chicken broth until the chicken flesh and bones are completely dried. Grind into an extremely fine powder. Then add Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, remove the rhizome) 5 qian, Rou Cong Rong (Cistanches Herba, wine-soaked and baked), Po Gu Zhi (Psoraleae Fructus, stir-fried), Sha Ren (Amomi Fructus, shell removed), Dang Gui Shen (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, body part only, wine-stir-fried), Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, honey-fried), Chuan Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma, wine-rinsed), Dan Shen (Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Fu Ling (Poria, peel removed), Zhi Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried), Du Zhong (Eucommiae Cortex, salt-water stir-fried), each 1 qian, and Xiang Fu Mi (Cyperi Rhizoma, processed by four methods) 4 liang.
