Thirty Methods of Duihua Sihan (Duihua refers to the transformation at the opposing position; it is a clash transformation. Duihua implies that due to heavenly deficiency, the normal numbers change, thereby following the generative laws.)

1. In the Yisi year, Jueyin Wind-Wood governs Heaven via Duihua. Wood clashes with the opposing position, and the transformational marker follows generation, with its completion number being eight. If it is a year of smooth circulation (Tongyun), the circulation number is eleven. On the eleventh day after Tianhou, Earth Qi descends to subdue Metal, causing disaster to Jiachong (insects with hard shells) and disease in the Spleen organ. Twenty-one days later, Yellow Qi offers up Shao Gong (Minor Palace tone), which fails to return to the correct Jue (Wood) tone, appearing vigorous yet returning to decline, with victory lacking substance. Wind contains Dryness; thus, Wind transformation contains Dryness, separated by intervals.

2. In the Dingsi year, Jueyin Wind-Wood governs Heaven via Duihua. Wood clashes with the opposing position, and the transformational marker follows generation, with its completion number being eight. If it is a year of smooth circulation, the circulation number is eleven. On the eleventh day after Tianhou, Earth Qi descends to subdue Earth [Note: Text says 'Xia Lin Tu Fu', likely implying subduing the element associated with the insect or contextually Metal/Earth interaction depending on interpretation, but literally 'descends to subdue Earth'], causing premature death of Jiachong and disease in the Spleen. Sixteen days after death, Yellow Qi offers up Shao Gong, which fails to return to the correct Jue tone, appearing vigorous yet returning to decline, with victory lacking substance. The Heavenly command becomes vigorous, followed by a decline in the retribution, causing the command to lose its correctness.

3. In the Jisi year, Jueyin Wind-Wood governs Heaven via Duihua. Wood clashes with the opposing position, and the transformational marker follows generation, with its completion number being eight. If it is a year of smooth circulation, the circulation number is thirteen. On the thirteenth day after Tianhou, Earth Qi descends to subdue Earth, causing disease in Jiachong and decline in the Spleen organ. Eighteen days later, Yellow Qi offers up Shao Gong, which fails to return to the correct Jue tone, appearing vigorous yet returning to decline, with victory lacking substance.

4. In the Xinsi year, Jueyin Wind-Wood governs Heaven via Duihua. Wood clashes with the opposing position, and the transformational marker follows generation, with its completion number being eight. If it is a year of smooth circulation, the circulation number is nine. On the ninth day after Tianhou, Earth Qi descends to subdue Earth, preventing Jiachong from breeding, causing disease in the Spleen. Fourteen days later, Yellow Qi offers up Shao Gong, which fails to return to the correct Jue tone, appearing vigorous yet returning to decline, with victory lacking substance.

5. In the Guisi year, Jueyin Wind-Wood governs Heaven via Duihua. Wood clashes with the opposing position, and the transformational marker follows generation, with its completion number being eight. If it is a year of smooth circulation, the circulation number is ten.
