The Heart stores the Shen (Spirit), and the functions manifested by the Shen include Hun (Ethereal Soul), Po (Corporeal Soul), Yi (Intellect), Zhi (Wisdom/Intelligence), Jing (Essence), and Zhi (Will). By tonifying these functions, the Heart spirit becomes tranquil.

Take 2 qian per dose, administered with salted water before bedtime.
"Si Shen" (Four Spirits) refers to these four herbs, which have miraculous efficacy in treating Kidney diarrhea (Shen Xie).
