[Contraindications] Miao Xiyong (Jingshu) stated: Patients with deficiency of Qi and Blood, weak Spleen and Stomach, or those prone to loose stools should not take it.
[Processing] Lei Xiao (Leigong) stated: When used, remove the leaves and use only the seeds for best results. Wipe off the thin shell with cloth, steam with wine, and dry in the sun before use.
