千金不易牡丹方 治产后十三症。
当归（三钱） 川芎 生地 泽兰叶 香附（醋炒） 益母草 延胡索（各一钱五分）
产妇冒风。加防风天麻（各一钱） 血晕。加五灵脂（醋炒） 荆芥穗（炒黑各一钱） 三四朝
后发热。加炮姜。（炒黑） 人参。黄 （各一钱） 心膈迷闷。加陈皮。枳壳。砂仁。（各一钱）
血崩。加地榆。山栀。丹皮（各一钱） 咳嗽。加杏仁。桑皮。桔梗。（各一钱） 死血不行。腹
硬。加红花。枳实。桃仁。（各一钱）
饮食不进。加山楂。麦芽（各一钱） 心神恍惚。加茯神。远志。（各一钱） 脾胃作胀。加白术。
茯苓。苍术。浓朴。陈皮。砂仁。枳壳（各一钱） 胞衣不下。加朴硝（三钱） 俱煎服
治产后肉线方 妇人产后。设有垂出肉线。约长三四尺。触之。痛引心腹欲绝者。系
过于用力。或用力太久之故。用老姜（三斤连皮捣烂） 麻油（二斤） 同姜拌匀。炒干。先以熟
绢四五尺。叠作长模式。将肉线轻轻盛起。盘曲作三团。纳入产户。以绢袋盛姜就近熏
之。冷即更换。熏一日夜。肉线可缩入大半。二日可以尽入。切不可令肉线断。断则难治矣。
保胎无忧散
大熟地（五钱） 山萸肉（二钱五分） 益母草（一钱） 条黄芩（五分） 麦冬（二钱五分）

药味甚平。奏效甚速。真良方也。勿以平淡忽之。凡受胎两个月服起。每日一剂。服
五十剂止。再无小产诸症。若常服亦妙。

Qianjin Buyi Mudan Formula (Thousand-Gold Unchanging Peony Formula): Treats thirteen syndromes postpartum.
Danggui Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Three Qian), Chuanxiong Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Shengdi Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, Zelan Ye Herba Lycopi, Xiangfu Rhizoma Cyperi Rotundi (stir-fried with vinegar), Yimucao Herba Leonuri, Yanhusuo Rhizoma Corydalis (each One-and-a-half Qian).
If the puerpera contracts wind pathogen, add Fangfeng Radix Saposhnikoviae and Tianma Rhizoma Gastrodiae (each One Qian).
For blood syncope (Xueyun), add Wulingzi Faeces Trogopterori (stir-fried with vinegar) and Jingjie Sui Herba Schizonepetae (charred black, each One Qian).
For fever occurring three to four days postpartum, add Paojiang Rhizoma Zingiberis Preparatum (charred black), Renshen Radix Ginseng, and Huangqi Radix Astragali Membranacei (each One Qian).
For stifling sensation in the heart and diaphragm, add Chenpi Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Zhike Fructus Aurantii Immaturus, and Sharen Fructus Amomi Rotundus (each One Qian).
For metrorrhagia (Xuebeng), add Diyut Cortex Ulmi, Shanzhi Fructus Gardeniae Jasminoidis, and Danmu Pi Cortex Moutan (each One Qian).
For cough, add Xingren Semen Armeniacae Amarum, Sangbai Cortex Mori, and Jiegeng Radix Platycodonis (each One Qian).
For stagnant blood failing to move and abdominal hardness, add Honghua Flos Carthami Tinctorii, Zhishi Fructus Aurantii Immaturus, and Taoren Semen Persicae (each One Qian).
For loss of appetite, add Shanzhao Fructus Crataegi and Maiya Fructus Hordei Germinatus (each One Qian).
For mental confusion and trance-like state, add Fushen Poria Cum Radix Pinelliae and Yuanzhi Radix Polygalae (each One Qian).
For distension in the spleen and stomach, add Baizhu Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Fuling Poria, Cangzhu Rhizoma Atractylodis Lanceae, Houpu Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis, Chenpi Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Sharen Fructus Amomi Rotundus, and Zhike Fructus Aurantii Immaturus (each One Qian).
For retention of placenta (Baoyi), add Xiaoming Natrii Sulfas (Three Qian).
All above herbs are decocted and taken orally.
Formula for Treating Postpartum Flesh Cord: In women postpartum, if a flesh cord protrudes, approximately three to four chi long, causing excruciating pain radiating to the heart and abdomen upon touch, this is due to excessive exertion or prolonged pushing. Use Laojiang Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens (Three Jin, crushed with skin) and Mayou Oleum Sesami Indici (Two Jin), mix well with ginger, and stir-fry until dry. First, take four or five chi of cooked silk cloth, fold it into a long strip shape, gently lift the flesh cord, coil it into three loops, and insert it back into the vaginal opening. Place the ginger in a silk bag and fumigate the area closely. Replace when cool. Fumigate for one day and night; the flesh cord will retract by more than half, and completely retract within two days. Do not allow the flesh cord to break under any circumstances, as it becomes difficult to treat if broken.
Baotai Wuyou San (Pregnancy-Protecting Carefree Powder):
Shudi Rehmanniae Radix Preparata (Five Qian), Shanyurou Fructus Corni Officinalis (Two-and-a-half Qian), Yimucao Herba Leonuri (One Qian), Tiao Huangqin Radix Scutellariae (Five Fen), Maidong Radix Ophiopogonis (Two-and-a-half Qian), Shengdi Rehmanniae Radix (One-and-a-half Qian), Ejiao Colla Corii Asini (One Qian), Bei Wuwei Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis (One Fen).
The medicinal properties are very mild, yet the effect is rapid. Truly an excellent formula. Do not disregard it because it seems plain. Start taking it from the second month of conception. Take one dose daily for fifty doses, after which symptoms of miscarriage will cease. Regular consumption is also beneficial.
Formula for Retained Placenta Using Dao Gou Chen (Inverted Hook Dust): Collect dust hanging from the beams that points downward, specifically the part with the tail pointing up. Roast on a new tile until dry, grind into powder, and take with a small cup of yellow wine. The placenta will be expelled immediately.
San Zhao Fang (Three Days Formula): Take one dose daily. It can eliminate hundred diseases and facilitate conception.
