Use Liuxian San (Willow Immortal Powder). Internally administer Xijiao Dihuang Tang (Rhinoceros Horn and Rehmannia Decoction) with modifications based on symptoms. If swelling is severe, use Liansha San (Cinnabar and Sand Powder) insufflated into the throat.
General Liuxian San.
Apply powdered processed Pangolin Scales (Chuan Shan Jia) topically for healing. If the wound is fragmented and difficult to close, combine with flesh-regenerating medicines for insufflation, and take a decoction to detoxify.
To prevent toxic pathogens from attacking internally, insufflate Liansha San and apply Sanhuang San (Three Yellows Powder) externally.
If the swelling has not yet suppurated, use Gansui San (Kansui Powder); if it has already suppurated, insufflate Daizhen San (Needle Replacement Powder). If it has ruptured, select flesh-regenerating medicines and take Baicao Gao (Hundred Herbs Ointment).
For all cases of malignant toxicity and foul decay, combine Liansha San with the Flesh-Removing Formula, insufflate to remove necrotic tissue, and subsequently use flesh-regenerating medicines. If necrotic tissue is not fully removed, add flesh-regenerating medicines to the Flesh-Removing Formula for insufflation, and re-administer Xijiao Jiedu Wan (Rhinoceros Horn Detoxification Pill).
After using Liansha San combined with the Flesh-Removing Formula to insufflate away black necrotic tissue, use Lougu San (Mole Cricket Powder) combined with flesh-regenerating medicines for insufflation. If erosion affects the mouth and nose, insufflate when erosion is imminent, and administer detoxifying medicines.
For chronic ulcers that are difficult to heal, frequently insufflate Hupo San (Amber Powder).
For wind-phlegm obstructing upwards, it is appropriate to take Shangqing Qinhua Er Wan (Two Upper-Clearing Lozenges), assess the deficiency or excess of the syndrome, swallow and dissolve them, and insufflate Dan San (Cinnabar Powder), selecting according to symptoms.
Quickly apply salt to the area. If blisters are present, mix salt with a small amount of Bingpian (Borneol) and nail powder, grind evenly, and insufflate together.
Liansha San, combined with Sangpiaoxiao (Mantis Egg Case) powder, is insufflated.
First, wrap silk cotton around the finger, dip in water, wipe away the white membrane, and use Liuxian San. If the condition is severe, switch to insufflating Liansha San. Internally administer Xijiao Jiedu Tang (Rhinoceros Horn Detoxification Decoction) with added Lianqiao (Forsythia Fruit) and Niu Bang Zi (Arctium Fruit). If complicated by convulsions, add Bohe (Mint) and Gouteng (Uncaria Rhynchophylla).
Puncture with a silver needle to release blood, wipe clean with green cloth dipped in warm water, and apply Kougan Medicine (Mouth Ulcer Medicine) or gold ink.

Gansui (6 fen, wrapped in flour and roasted until black while preserving efficacy, ground to powder, purified) Yaxiao (1 qian) Shiyan (Stir-fried 2 qian) Bohe (2 qian) Puhuang (1 qian)
Pengsha (8 fen) Bingpian (3 fen)
The above seven ingredients are ground to powder and insufflated into the throat. This is a divine agent for treating acute throat diseases, a great general who breaks through passes and captures kings. It specifically treats nine types of Hou Bi (Sore Throat/Obstruction), and all throat conditions.
Add Rouguipi (Cinnamon Bark) powder. If death is imminent, add Black Fish Gallbladder dried in the twelfth lunar month, ground to powder; take a small amount of each. To remove phlegm-fluids below the diaphragm, add a small amount of Yu Dan; re-insufflate one tube. The patient must be instructed to lower their head so that toxic phlegm flows out, which is essential. However, do not overuse; excessive use may lead to exhaustion of phlegm and depletion of fluids, making treatment difficult. For Hou Feng (Throat Wind), add 20% of Chou Huaniang Gen (Chou Huaniang Root) powder to this formula. For Jie Hou Bi (Knotted Throat Obstruction), add a small amount of processed Badou (Croton Seed). If redness is severe, add 10% of Chuanlian (Coptis Rhizome) powder to this formula. If swelling is hard, add 30% of Qiancaogen (Qiancao Root) powder to this formula. For Hou Yong (Throat Abscess) and Shuang Lian Ru E (Double Connected Tonsils), add 30% of processed Badou to this formula. For single tonsil involvement, use only Liansha San with processed Badou; if pus exists, it will discharge; if no pus, it will dissipate. If flying silk is accidentally swallowed into the throat causing sores, swelling, and pain, insufflate Liansha San mixed with a small amount of Shancigu (Cremastra Bulb) powder and processed Badou; insufflating alone is also effective. For Lan Hou Feng (Rotting Throat Wind) with redness and swelling, also use Liansha San with Shancigu powder, combined with the Flesh-Removing Formula to reduce swelling, or insufflate Zhongru Shi San (Calcareous Spar Powder). For damp rot and deficient necrosis that does not heal, use processed Luganshi (Calamine) mixed with Renshen (Ginseng) powder, add to flesh-regenerating medicines, and insufflate for cure. For Chong She (Double Tongue), Mu She (Wooden Tongue), Ya Yong (Tooth Abscess), and Ya Ding (Toxic Carbuncle of Tooth), use only Yaxiao, Shiyan, and Pengsha, plus Zao Fan (Alum) and Zaojiaoci (Gleditsia Spine) powder, adding more Bingpian for penetration, which will naturally dissipate. For Chuanya Ding (Penetrating Tooth Toxic Carbuncle) with decay, treat with Liansha San combined with the Flesh-Removing Formula, or Kougan Medicine, for immediate cure.
