Swelling and pain in feet and knees occur when Wind-Cold-Warm pathogens invade Qi and Blood, preventing their smooth circulation, leading to stagnation causing swelling and coagulation causing pain. This is because human Qi and Blood flow when warmed and stop when chilled.
