Shi Jue (Corpse-like Coma), where the patient is unconscious and unaware of their surroundings, yet the pulse beats normally as usual. Treatment involves Yinbai (SP1) and Dadjun (LR1). For恍惚 (trance-like state) resembling Shi Jue accompanied by headache, Zhongji (CV3) and Puxuan (BL60) are indicated. For sudden death due to Shi Jue, Jinmen (BL63) is indicated.
For Huoluan (Cholera-like disorder with vomiting and diarrhea), needle five points beside the Back-Shu points, Foot-Yangming (Stomach Meridian) points, and three points beside Shangbang (likely referring to Lishu or similar paravertebral points). For vomiting accompanied by vexation and fullness, Pohu (BL42) is indicated. For Huoluan caused by rebellious Yang Qi, needle Renying (ST9); insert depth four fen; if mishandled, it may cause death. For Huoluan where discharge occurs without the patient's awareness, first select Taixi (KI3), then select Tai Cang Zhi Yuan (Foot三里 ST36). For Huoluan, Juque (CV14), Guanchong (TE1), Zhigou (TE6), Gongsun (SP4) [Qianjin Fang also adds Yinlingquan (SP9)], and Jiexi (ST41) are indicated. For Huoluan with watery diarrhea, Qimen (LR14) is indicated. For Jue Ni (Cold Extremities) combined with Huoluan, Fushé (LR13) is indicated. For Stomach Qi rebellion combined with Huoluan, Yuji (LU10) is indicated. For Huoluan with rebellious Qi, Yuji (LU10) and Taibai (SP3) are indicated. For Huoluan with involuntary passage of flatus, Zusanli (ST36) is indicated. For acute Huoluan, Puxuan (BL60) is indicated. For Huoluan with muscle cramps, Jinmen (BL63), Puxuan (BL60), Chengshan (BL57), and Chengjin (BL56) are indicated. For Huoluan with bi-syndrome in the lower legs and numbness [Qianjin Fang states: indicates convulsions and soreness of the feet], Chengjin (BL56) is indicated.
For cramps occurring on the Yang aspect, regulate the Yang meridians; for cramps on the Yin aspect, regulate the Yin meridians; in both cases, use rapid pricking methods.
Wind injury in Spring leads to Sund Xie (undigested food diarrhea) in Summer, known as Chang Pi (Intestinal Dysentery/Pus-Blood Disorder). Long-term wind pathogen causes Sund Xie. In Sund Xie, if the pulse is small and hands/feet are cold, it is difficult to cure; if the pulse is large and hands/feet are warm, it is easy to cure. The Yellow Emperor asked: What about Chang Pi with bloody stool? Qibo replied: If the body is hot, prognosis is poor (death); if the body temperature is normal, prognosis is good (survival). Asked: What about Chang Pi with white mucus discharge? Replied: If the pulse is deep, survival; if floating, death. Asked: What about Chang Pi with pus and blood discharge? Replied: If the pulse is suspended and severed (extreme abnormality), death; if slippery and large, survival. Asked: Regarding Chang Pi category, if the body is not hot and the pulse is not suspended/severed, what happens? Replied: Slippery and large pulses indicate survival; suspended and choppy pulses indicate death, predicting the time of death based on the affected Zang organ.
For Sund Xie, tonify Sanyinjiao (SP6) and Yinlingquan (SP9); retain needles for a long time until warmth spreads, then remove.
For disease with bloody diarrhea, select Ququan (LR8) and Wuli (ST37). For cold and heat in the intestines, with diarrhea, Chang Pi, and bloody stool, Huiyang (BL35) is indicated. For intestinal rumbling and diarrhea, [point missing in text] is indicated. For Chang Pi diarrhea with cutting pain, Siman (KI25) is indicated. For pus and blood in stool, cold in the middle jiao, undigested food, and abdominal pain, Fu'ai (SP15) is indicated. For periumbilical pain radiating to the heart, cold knees with diarrhea, Fu'ai (SP15) is indicated. For Tang Jia (soft masses with loose stools), abdominal pain, and Zang Bi syndrome, Diji (SP8) is indicated. For Sund Xie, Taichong (LR3) is indicated. For unformed stool with undigested food and irregular cold/heat, Yinlingquan (SP9) is indicated. For Chang Pi, [point missing in text] is indicated. For Sund Xie with Large Intestine pain, Juxu Shanglian (ST37) is indicated.
