Zhenzhu (Pearl), Manao (Agate), Hupo (Amber), Shanhu (Coral) (each 1.5 qian; the above four ingredients are all boiled in tofu and then ground), Yueshi (Borax), Xiongdan (Bear Bile) (each 5 fen; held in bamboo shoot shells, baked until crisp, and ground into powder), Bingpian (Borneol) (4 fen), Shexiang (Musk) (2.5 fen), Xuexie (Dragon's Blood) (7.5 fen), Zhusha (Cinnabar) (finely ground and processed by water levigation, 7.5 fen), Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma) (5 fen), Ruxiang (Olibanum) (roasted dry on rattan leaves, 5 fen), Moyao (Myrrha) (roasted dry on rattan leaves, 5 fen), Luganshi (Calamina) (processed, 1.5 liang).
Each ingredient is ground into a fine powder and sifted, then weighed according to the specified proportions, mixed together, and ground ten thousand times. It is then passed through silk paper and stored in porcelain jars for use. Its efficacy is miraculous.
Boyun Tuiyi Dan (Cloud-Pulling Cataract-Removing Pill): Used for instillation to treat various astigmatism-like opacities (Xingzhang), fleshy stubborn pterygium (Rouwan yi), and old membranes.
