(见阴疽门)服至一料,全愈。此是预识预治,百无一死。世人但知脚痛医脚,咳嗽医嗽;

See the method of warming with green onion and ginger in the section on Cold Damage (Shanghan).
This is termed Qi Fen (Qi Division disorder), caused by the stagnation and condensation of ingested water. Use Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) 4 qian and Zhishi (Immature Bitter Orange) 2 qian, decoct in water and take orally.
This is attributed to Kidney Fire (Mingmen Fire) flaring upward. Apply Zhen Pengsha (Real Borax) and Zhen Meihua Bingpian (Real Plum Blossom Borneol), each 1 fen, topically; it will immediately liquefy. Internally, administer Liuwei Dihuang Wan (Six-Ingredient Rehmannia Pill) for two courses to achieve complete recovery. Additionally, grind Wuzhuyu (Evodiae Fructus) into powder, mix with vinegar, and apply to the soles of both feet. Change the application every day and night, continuing for several days until cured.
This is named Jingquan Ju (Well Spring Carbuncle), also known as Man Xin Rui Du (Slow Heart Sharp Toxin). In the early stage, if a mass gradually enlarges inside the heart region and the chest protrudes, death ensues if the toxin sinks inward. Physicians often withdraw their hands in helplessness, and various medical texts lack treatment methods for this condition. Only my family's *Secret Collection* records: Measure the length of all ten fingers of the patient using a thread, accumulate these lengths into one long thread, place it at the center of the trachea, extend it in a double loop to the middle of the spine, and mark the point where the two ends meet as the "Middle Acupoint." Then, measure the middle segment of the patient's middle finger with a bamboo strip as one cun standard. Place this measurement one cun to the left and one cun to the right of the Middle Acupoint, marking them with ink. This establishes three acupoints arranged in a triangular pattern. Apply three moxa cones to each acupoint simultaneously. After moxibustion, full recovery occurs. This is a secret formula from Linwu Shanshanren.
A case involved a person with a patch on the chest, about the size of a bowl, devoid of skin, ulcerated into a fistula with continuous discharge of pus and blood, failing to heal for a long time. Grind Biqi (Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae Rhizoma) into powder and sprinkle it on the lesion. It heals within a few days with miraculous efficacy.
Fei Yong (Lung Abscess) is also called Fei Ju (Lung Carbuncle); refer to the Cough section for comparison. Most ailments are easy to identify, but toxicity in the lungs is difficult to detect. A secret transmission states: If there is pain in the bones of both feet, or no foot pain but a small bean-like lump appears under the tongue, accompanied by slight internal pain above the heart, slight pain in both hypochondria, cough, thirst, and dry throat, these are all signs of lung toxicity. Immediately decoct Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) and Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix), each 3 qian, and take orally. If relief is felt after ingestion, lung toxicity is confirmed without doubt. Take Xihuang Wan (Calculus Bovis Pill - see Yin Ju section) for one course to achieve complete recovery. This represents pre-emptive identification and treatment, ensuring virtually no mortality. The world generally knows to treat foot pain by treating the foot, and cough by treating the cough; [text fragment: tongue thorns remain red without cotton].
Another prescription: Chao Yiyiren (Fried Coicis Semen), each processed into powder, taken mixed with rice gruel. It can be cooked as porridge or taken with water; expulsion of pus and blood brings relief.
Another prescription: Squeeze juice from Zhuye (Bambusae Folium), take one zhan orally. Expulsion of pus and blood leads to self-healing.
Another prescription: Xuan Shen (Scrophulariae Radix) 8 liang, Tiansheng (Asparagi Radix) 4 liang, Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix) 2 liang, Zhi Gancao (Honey-fried Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) 1 liang. Add ten bowls of water, decoct until two bowls remain. Add Pugongying (Taraxaci Herba) and Jinyinhua (Lonicerae Japonicae Flos), each 5 qian, and decoct until one bowl remains. Take immediately after meals. It dissipates in the early stage and heals in chronic cases with unparalleled efficacy.
Another prescription: Sheng [Missing Character, likely Huangqi] (Stir-baked), Baiji (Bletillae Rhizoma), Yinhua (Lonicerae Japonicae Flos), Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix), each 1 qian; Yiren (Coicis Semen) 5 qian; Beimu (Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus) 1.6 qian; Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Gancao Jie (Licorice Nodes)...
