隔蒜灸法∶一切痈疽肿毒恶疮，初起即用此法，使毒瓦斯解散，用药施治亦易见功，轻者
灸过即愈。
大蒜头（又名老蒜）去皮切片如三文钱浓（无蒜，用煮熟鸡蛋白或生姜亦可，究竟不如
蒜
难
烧
惟
后）
一阴疮色白不痛又不作脓，或顽疮久不收口，灸之最妙，倘灸后血出不止、手冷欲绝者，
照痈毒杂治门疮口出血各方治之。
一痘疔毒瓦斯使诸痘不能起发，或麻木疼痛，安蒜片于痘疔上灸之，毒随火散。若紫血出
后肿痛不止者，尤当用灸。
一跌打损伤破口伤风，牙关紧闭，腰背反张，命在顷刻，摊蒜于伤处多灸，更灸百会等
穴立苏。
一凡蛇、蝎、蜈蚣以及疯犬咬伤各毒，摊蒜于伤处，铺艾多烧之，至不痛为度，拔出其
毒，以免内攻。
《本草纲目》载史源记蒜灸之功去∶母氏背胛作痒，有赤晕半寸，白粒如黍，用蒜片、
艾火灸二七壮，其赤随消，次日有赤晕流下长二寸，举家归咎于灸，后用艾火灸四旁赤处，
每一壮烬则赤随缩入，数十余壮赤晕收退，至夜则大 满背，比晓色黑，肿高三四寸，上有
百数小孔，调理而安。盖肿者、毒外出也，小孔多、毒不聚也，色黑、皮肉坏也，非艾火出
其毒于坏肉之里，则内逼五脏而危矣。
隔蜡灸法∶治一切痈疽、肿毒、发背、对口等疮甚效；先看毒聚处，水调面作圈，根据肿
处大小围圈高寸余，实贴皮上，勿令渗泄，本人安身勿动，圈内铺极好黄蜡片屑，上以炭火
灸至黄蜡溶化。毒浅者，皮上觉热痛不受灸便止，毒深者，全不觉热痛，再下黄蜡，随化随
添至圈满，仍前热火灸至蜡沸，初觉痒，后觉痛，久之不可忍，乃去火，以少水微浇滚蜡上
，俟冷，揭去蜡，近皮者俱带青黑色，此毒随蜡拔去。浅者一二灸便内消，深者三四灸亦立
解。或疮口虽破而皮尚坚硬脓未出者，不必用万针，惟灸之脓出肿消。或脓出而疮口溃烂者
，即于疮口下圈再灸，蜡气从口而入，愈深愈炒。
桑木灸法∶治一切痈疽疔疖，并治瘰 、流注、顽疮久不愈者，俱有神效。干桑木劈碎
，扎作小把，烧燃一头吹熄，持近患者灸之，每灸片时，日三五次，以瘀内腐动为度。大抵
未溃则解热毒，止疼痛，消瘀肿。已溃则补阳气，散余毒，生肌肉。若阳症肿痛，或重负如
山，用此法出毒水即内消。日久者用之，虽溃亦浅，且无苦楚。阴疽不起者，一灸即起。
豆豉灸法∶治一切痈疽既溃不敛，疮色黑暗。淡香豆豉一升，入熟水捣成泥，照疮大小
作饼浓三分安疮上，铺艾灸之，但使温温，觉热痛急去之，患当减快。一日灸二次。如疮有
孔，留孔勿复，列艾其旁灸之，听其出汁为妙。
葱熨法∶治虚怯人肢体患肿块，或作痛，或不痛，或风袭经络，肢体疼痛，或四肢筋挛
骨痛。又治流注及妇人乳吹，乳痈及便毒初起。葱白捣烂炒热，布包熨患处，冷则易之，再
熨再易之，数次肿痛即止而愈。永戒食龟肉。
葱蜜膏∶治无名肿毒，初起肿痛尚未成脓者，极效。葱头、灰面、白蜜（各等分），捣
融
糯米膏∶凡腋、肋、臂、膊、腰、腿等处忽如火热，肿硬如石，痛不可忍，百药不效者
，一二次即愈，神效。热糯米饭，少加葱与盐共捣融敷，过夜即松。或用热糯米酒糟亦可。
其渣务倾鱼池，或入河内。
神灯照法∶治发背、对口、乳痈、乳岩、鱼口、便毒及一切无名疮毒，不论已成未成、
已破未破者尤妙。明雄、朱砂、真血竭、没药各一钱，麝香二分，共为细末，用棉纸裹药卷
成捻约一尺长，每捻入药三分，以真麻油润透烧燃，离疮半寸许，自外而内周遭缓缓照之，
疮毒随药气解散，不致内攻。初用三条，渐加至五七条，疮势渐平又渐减之。每日照一次。
重者不过六七次，大略腐尽新生，即不必再照。外贴膏药，内服托里之剂收功。凡阴疮不能
起发，又头面等处难用艾灸者，用此照之，有起死回生之力，真神方也。
麻油饮∶治痈疽疔疖一切大毒。真麻油一斤，砂锅内煎数十滚倾出，兑酒二碗，随口热
饮一二碗，少顷再饮，急则一日饮尽，缓则分二日饮，无有不愈。打猎者凡中毒药急次麻油
，药毒即消，其效如此。
菜油饮∶治发背、对口、乳痈、疔疮及一切无名肿毒重症。陈久菜子油三大杯，一时饮
尽，并以菜油煎葱白至黑色，趁热围涂患处止痛而愈。
护心散∶凡患疔疮及一切大痈大毒，神昏呕吐，此毒瓦斯攻心，急用此药服之，神效。绿
豆（研成粉）一两，乳香五钱（用灯芯一全二分同炒枯，去灯芯不用），灯芯炭（用活竹一

又方∶饮真麻油一大杯（真菜子油亦可）或用白糖三四两，开水调服亦可。
瓜蒂散∶治痈疽大毒及一切无名恶证，并治乳岩。陈年老南瓜蒂，烧成炭，酒冲服，再
用麻油调此炭敷之立愈。如治乳岩每服瓜蒂炭一个，重者四五次立愈，幸勿泛视。
菊花饮∶此乃治疔毒圣药，有起死回生之功。凡对口、发背、一切无名红肿热毒，亦极
神效。阴疽色白平塌者勿用。白菊花连根用，捣取自然汁一茶钟，滚酒冲服。用酒煮服亦可
（不如生汁为妙），重者多服，盖被睡卧出汗，其毒自散。并用渣敷患处，留头不敷。无叶

水仙膏∶治对口、发背、乳痈、鱼口、便毒及一切恶毒，无论已破未破，均极神效。凡
悬痈及诸疮久不收口者，立能止痛生肌，百发百中。水仙花兜，用黄糖（红沙糖亦可）和捣

敛。或用花或用根皮俱奇效。再加真赤小豆末（查药物备要便知）一钱，其效更速。但无蜜

马苋膏∶治疮毒日久，脓水不止，肿痛不已，大有神效。初起未久敷之反不见功。马齿
苋（又名瓜子菜）捣烂浓敷，数日即愈。
大蒜膏∶治恶疮肿痛，叫号不眠。独头蒜数颗捣烂，麻油拌和、浓敷疮上，干又换敷，
毒消痛止，无不神效。
肥皂膏∶治一切无名恶毒。生肥皂（去子弦与筋）捣烂，好醋和敷立愈，不愈再敷，奇
验
赤豆散∶治一切疮毒，未成即消，已成即愈。真赤小豆（查药物备要便知）四十九粒为
末
大戟膏∶治一切恶疮及诃毒痛不可忍者，其效如神。不痛者敷之亦愈，阴疽尤属相宜。
真红芽大戟（查药物备要便知）用整枝的，温茶洗净去心嚼融敷之，立刻止痛而愈。再发，

远志膏∶治一切痈毒初起，屡试神验。远志肉二两去心，酒煮捣烂如泥敷之，用油纸隔
布扎定，过夜即消。
银花饮∶治对口、发背、鱼口、便毒及一切无名肿毒，大有奇功。忍冬藤（即金银花藤）
生采五两（忌铁器），捣烂，加甘草一两，同入砂锅内，水二碗，慢火煎至一碗，入无灰酒

粪坑土∶治发背及诸恶毒疮疼痛。粪坑底泥土阴干，新水调敷，其痛立止。
石赤散∶治一切疮毒无论已破未破，并治跌打损伤无不奇效。石赤（要陈一年者，愈陈
愈妙）、韭菜各等分，于端午日午时或六月六日，同捣极烂为饼阴干。凡遇一切疮毒，或干
敷或油调均可。
松香散∶治小儿胎毒并蜡梨头疮及男妇一切湿疮，有人施送四十余年，神效无比。老松
香二两（炒）、黄丹一两（微炒）、铅粉五钱（炒净勿留铅气）、真青黛一两，白矾二两（入

牛牙散∶治一切痈毒大疮初起，并治蜡梨头疮及脚丫破烂神效。取已死黄牛门牙数枚，
以三钱为度，将牙烧红浸醋内，烧三次浸三次，研末候冷。如病患有一斤酒量者，用酒二斤
将牙灰冲入饮之，盖被睡一夜即出大汗，次日全消。或腹泻再用败毒散服之立愈。初起三日
内俱可治，活人无算。若治蜡梨秃头疮并脚丫烂多年者，用麻油或鸡蛋油（见后）调敷。
牛粪散∶治湿热诸疮毒水淋漓久不收口，并小儿痘疮破烂百药不效者，用此如神。黄牛
粪炒热敷，冷则随换，数次即愈，且无疤痕。
鸡腰膏∶治小儿胎毒及头面、耳前、耳后一切湿疮并羊须疮，屡试如神。大鸡腰子一对
（蒸熟去皮），枯矾三分，共捣融，加顶上冰片一二分敷之。
鸡蛋饮∶凡肠痈、发背、脏毒、鱼口等症，初起三天之内，照服一方即行消散。如毒势
旺者，接连三服无不尽消，真神方也。皮色不变者勿服。鸡蛋一个，倾入碗内搅匀，入芒硝
二钱，蒸服，用好酒送下。
鸡蛋油∶此油最能杀虫，诸疮破烂痒不可忍或不收口者搽之，大有神效。鸡蛋数个，整
个煮熟，去白用黄干煎枯焦，以滚开水半茶钟冲入，油浮水面，取出冷透火气听用。
燕泥散∶治一切热疮恶毒肿痛及小儿胎毒，甚效。皮色不变及先白后红者勿用。燕子窝
连泥带粪研细，麻油调敷。疮色赤色者加黄柏末调敷。小儿胎毒先用米汤油（即米锅内浮面
油）洗净再敷。
鲫鱼膏∶治诸疮肿毒溃破流脓，并治脚生鸡眼，俱极神效。乳岩及一切色白阴疽忌用。

黄明膏∶治对口、发背、鱼口、便毒及一切痈疽肿毒，未成即消，已成即拔脓生肌，最
为神效。此人世传秘方也。牛皮胶一两，入铜器内好醋和煮，用筷子时时搅动，煮好加铅粉
、黄丹各二钱搅匀，收入罐内，放水中拔出火毒，用布摊贴。
紫芦散∶治小儿胎毒，肉赤无此，或脓血淋漓及胎中受父母杨梅疮毒者，并治妇女为丈
**Garlic-Partitioned Moxibustion Method:** For all types of carbuncles, ulcers, swellings, toxic sores, and malignant wounds, this method should be employed at the initial stage. It helps dissipate the pathogenic toxins, making subsequent medicinal treatment more effective; mild cases may heal immediately after moxibustion.
Peel a garlic bulb (also known as old garlic) and slice it to a thickness similar to a "San Wen" coin. (If garlic is unavailable, boiled egg white or ginger can be used as substitutes, though their efficacy is inferior to garlic.)
In cases where yin sores appear white, are painless, and do not suppurate, or when stubborn wounds fail to heal over a long period, this moxibustion method is particularly excellent. If excessive bleeding occurs after moxibustion accompanied by cold hands and feet approaching paralysis, refer to the various formulas for bleeding wounds in the Miscellaneous Treatments for Carbuncles and Toxins section.
For toxin-ding (carbuncle-like lesions on boils/pimples) where pathogenic factors prevent pustules from erupting, or where numbness and pain occur, place a slice of garlic on the lesion and apply moxibustion; the toxin disperses with the fire. If purple blood flows out followed by persistent swelling and pain, moxibustion is especially indicated.
For traumatic injuries with broken skin infected by wind pathogens, characterized by trismus (lockjaw), opisthotonos (arching of the back), and imminent death, spread garlic on the wound and apply heavy moxibustion, and additionally moxa the Baihui (GV20) acupoint and others to restore consciousness immediately.
For venomous bites from snakes, scorpions, centipedes, and mad dogs, spread garlic on the bite site, cover with mugwort, and burn heavily until pain ceases, thereby extracting the toxin to prevent internal invasion.
*Bencao Gangmu* (Compendium of Materia Medica) records a case by Shi Yuan regarding the efficacy of garlic moxibustion: His mother’s shoulder blade area became itchy with a half-cun red halo containing white granules like millet seeds. Using garlic slices and moxa fire for fourteen moxa cones (zhuang), the redness subsided. The next day, the redness extended downward two cun. The family blamed the moxibustion. Later, moxa was applied to the surrounding red areas; with each cone burning out, the redness receded inward. After dozens of cones, the halo resolved. By night, a large sore covered the back. By dawn, the color turned black, swelling reached three to four cun high, with hundreds of small pores. After conditioning, she recovered. Generally, swelling indicates toxin exiting; numerous pores indicate toxin not aggregating; black color indicates necrotic flesh. If moxa fire had not expelled the toxin from the necrotic tissue, it would have forced its way into the five zang organs, causing danger.
**Wax-Partitioned Moxibustion Method:** Highly effective for all carbuncles, ulcers, breast abscesses (faback), and neck sores (duikou). First, observe the site of toxin aggregation. Mix flour with water to form a ring. Based on the size of the swelling, create a ring one cun high, adhering tightly to the skin without leakage. The patient must remain still. Fill the ring with high-quality yellow wax flakes. Apply charcoal fire to melt the wax. For shallow toxins, stop when heat and pain become intolerable on the skin. For deep toxins, where no heat or pain is felt, add more wax as it melts until the ring is full. Continue heating until the wax boils. Initially, there is itching, then pain, becoming unbearable after a while. Remove the fire, sprinkle a little water on the boiling wax, wait for it to cool, and remove the wax. The skin near the surface turns blue-black, indicating the toxin has been extracted with the wax. Shallow toxins resolve internally after one or two treatments; deep toxins resolve after three or four. If the wound is open but the skin remains hard with no pus, avoid using needles; moxibustion will induce pus drainage and reduce swelling. If pus drains but the wound ulcerates, create a new ring below the wound and moxa again; the wax vapor enters through the opening, penetrating deeper.
**Mulberry Wood Moxibustion Method:** Effective for all carbuncles, ulcers, ding lesions, and folliculitis; also treats scrofula (luoli), flowing abscesses (liuzhu), and stubborn chronic wounds. Crush dry mulberry wood, bundle it, ignite one end, blow it out, and hold it close to the patient for moxibustion. Perform for short periods, three to five times daily, until internal stasis begins to rot and move. Generally, for unruptured lesions, it clears heat-toxin, stops pain, and reduces swelling. For ruptured lesions, it tonifies yang qi, disperses residual toxin, and generates flesh. For yang-pattern swelling and pain, or heaviness like a mountain, this method expels toxic fluid leading to internal resolution. For chronic cases, even if ruptured, the depth is shallow and painless. For yin-carbuncles that fail to rise, one application causes them to elevate.
**Fermented Soybean Moxibustion Method:** For carbuncles and ulcers that have ruptured but fail to heal, with dark wound color. Take one sheng of light-colored fermented soybeans (douchi), mash into a paste with warm water, form a cake three fen thick according to the wound size, place on the wound, and apply moxa. Maintain warmth; remove immediately if painful. Relief follows. Apply twice daily. If the wound has holes, leave them uncovered and moxa around them to allow drainage.
**Scallion Compress Method:** For weak individuals with limb masses, whether painful or painless; wind invading meridians causing limb pain; tendon spasms and bone pain in limbs. Also treats flowing abscesses, breast inflammation (ruichui), mastitis (ruyong), and groin abscesses (biandu) in early stages. Mash green onions, stir-fry until hot, wrap in cloth, and compress the affected area. Replace when cool. Repeat several times until swelling and pain cease. Permanently avoid eating turtle meat.
**Scallion-Honey Paste:** Extremely effective for unnamed swellings and toxins in the early stage before suppuration. Equal parts scallion heads, ash flour, and white honey, mashed and mixed.
**Glutinous Rice Paste:** For sudden fiery heat, stone-hard swelling, and unbearable pain in the axilla, ribs, arms, shoulders, waist, and legs, unresponsive to other medicines. One or two applications cure miraculously. Mash hot glutinous rice with a little scallion and salt, apply as a compress; it softens overnight. Hot glutinous rice wine lees can also be used. Dispose of residues in fish ponds or rivers.
**Divine Lamp Illumination Method:** Excellent for faback, duikou, mastitis, breast cancer (luyan), fish-mouth abscess (yukou), groin abscess, and all unnamed sores/toxins, whether formed or unformed, ruptured or unruptured. Mix 1 qian each of realgar (Ming Xiong), cinnabar (Zhusha), real dragon's blood (Xuejie), and myrrh (Moyao), plus 2 fen of musk (Shexiang). Grind to fine powder. Wrap in cotton paper to form a roll one chi long, loading 3 fen of medicine per roll. Moisten with true sesame oil, ignite, and hold about half a cun from the wound. Slowly illuminate from outside to inside. The toxin disperses with the medicinal vapor, preventing internal invasion. Start with three rolls, increase to five or seven as needed, then decrease as the condition improves. Once daily. Severe cases require no more than six or seven sessions. When necrotic tissue is cleared and new tissue grows, stop. Apply external plasters and internal supportive decoctions to complete treatment. For yin-sores that cannot rise, or areas difficult to moxa (like the face), this illumination method has life-saving power.
**Sesame Oil Drink:** For severe toxins from carbuncles, ulcers, ding lesions, and folliculitis. Boil one jin of true sesame oil in a clay pot for many rolling boils, pour out, mix with two bowls of wine, and drink warm. Drink one or two bowls, then repeat shortly after. In acute cases, finish within one day; in chronic cases, over two days. All recover. Hunters poisoned by game should drink sesame oil urgently to eliminate poison.
**Rapeseed Oil Drink:** For severe cases of faback, duikou, mastitis, ding lesions, and unnamed swellings/toxins. Drink three large cups of aged rapeseed oil at once. Also, fry scallion whites in rapeseed oil until black, apply hot around the wound to stop pain and heal.
**Heart-Protecting Powder:** For ding lesions and major carbuncles/toxins causing coma and vomiting (toxin attacking the heart). Administer urgently for miraculous effect. One liang of mung bean powder (ground), five qian of frankincense (Ruxiang) fried with a wick until burnt (remove wick), and [text missing]... Wake-up Pill (Xingxiao Wan, see later) to calm heat. Or use Toad Extraction Method (see later), which is better.
Another Formula: Drink one large cup of true sesame oil (or true rapeseed oil) or three to four liang of white sugar dissolved in boiling water.
**Gua Di San:** For major carbuncle/ulcer toxins and all unnamed malignant conditions, including breast cancer. Burn old pumpkin stalks to charcoal, take with wine. Apply charcoal mixed with sesame oil externally for immediate cure. For breast cancer, take one portion of Gua Di charcoal per dose; severe cases resolve in four or five doses. Do not overlook this.
**Chrysanthemum Drink:** A holy medicine for ding toxins with life-saving power. Also highly effective for duikou, faback, and all unnamed red, swollen, hot toxins. Contraindicated for yin-carbuncles that are white and flat. Use white chrysanthemum with roots, crush to extract natural juice (one tea cup), mix with boiling wine and drink. Boiling with wine is acceptable but raw juice is superior. Severe cases take more, cover with blankets, sleep, and sweat to disperse toxin. Apply residue to the wound, leaving the head uncovered. **Narcissus Paste:** For duikou, faback, mastitis, yukou, biandu, and all malignant toxins, whether ruptured or not. Extremely effective.
