The toxic qi accumulating from the path of the plum-blossom sore (syphilitic chancre) gradually causes swelling, hardness, ulceration, and breakdown of the yin orifice and anus, with non-healing pus and blood, and unceasing pain. Applying this medicine is most excellent. If urination flushes out the medicine, it must be applied frequently; it will gradually heal itself, proving extremely effective like a miracle. If the toxicity is severe, it is essential to add seven fen of Zhenzhu (Pearl) and three fen of Xiniu Huang (Ox Gallstone), which will yield even faster results.
Qingbai Luganshi (Calcined Calamine) one liang (repeatedly quenched in Huanglian juice, quenching again and again, totaling three times. Then repeatedly quenched in Tongbian [child's urine], quenching again and again, totaling four times), Nong Chuan Huangbo (Concentrated Sichuan Phellodendron Bark) seven qian (coated with pig bile and roasted seven times), Zi Ganzhepi (Purple Sugarcane Peel) five qian (burned to retain its nature, taken as pure powder separately). Yinqing San (Silver Blue Powder): Treats sores on the glans penis in men causing rotting, pain, and itching; sores on both sides of the yin orifice in women causing dampness, rotting, swelling, pain, and itching; and also treats swollen and rotting smallpox scars in children, as well as various sores such as yellow blisters all over the head due to residual toxins after smallpox. Using this is effective for all. Bailuoqiao (White Snail Shell) (preferably white ones from wall tops, cleaned of mud, calcined by fire to retain its nature) taken as pure powder one liang, Ganlanhe (Olive Pit) (calcined by fire to retain its nature, ground to take pure powder) two qian, Hanshuishi (Cold Water Stone) (ground separately to extreme fineness, taken as pure powder) two qian. When using...
Yuhong Gao (Jade Red Ointment): Treats all carbuncles, furuncles, back abscesses, and "duikou" (abscesses at the nape); for major toxins where the flesh has rotted away leaving deep holes exposing membranes and diaphragms, use this to fill the wound cavity. It naturally promotes tissue regeneration, flesh growth, and wound closure. It is indeed a sacred medicine for surgery. Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Root) two liang, Baizhi (Angelica Dahurica Root) five qian, Zicao (Arnebia Root/Lithospermum Root) two qian, Gancao (Licorice Root) one liang two qian. Use one jin of true sesame oil. Soak the aforementioned medicines for five days. Decoct until the herbs are withered and filter out the dregs completely. Boil the oil again until it forms beads when dropped into water. Add four qian of fine Xuejie (Dragon's Blood) powder and stir evenly. Then add two liang of white vinegar to dissolve. Remove from fire, let cool slightly, then add four qian of Qingfen (Calomel). Wait until it becomes an ointment, cover well, place in water for three days to remove "qi" (heat/toxicity) before use. The older it is, the better. For deeply sunken wounds, dip new cotton wool in this ointment and pack it into the wound.
Jinsu Dan (Golden White Pill, also known as Huangling Dan): Treats all carbuncles, major toxins, back abscesses, "duikou", lumbar abscesses, arm furuncles with blackened dead flesh and hard necrotic muscle. With slight relief of pain, the necrotic flesh naturally dissolves and detaches without the need for knife, forceps, or surgical cutting. There is no foul odor, and it is incredibly miraculous. For toothache with ulceration and teeth about to fall out, this is also effective. Sheng Baifan (Raw Alum) six qian, Ku Baifan (Calcined Alum) three qian, Ming Xionghuang (Bright Realgar) one qian. Grind together to extreme fineness, sieve, and pound over a thousand times more; the more it is pounded, the more beautiful the color becomes. Store in a porcelain bottle, take out when needed, avoiding dust contamination. It can be used whenever necrotic flesh is removed. If sprinkled on newly growing flesh, it will cause pain for a moment; once pus and moisture appear, the pain ceases. If healthy and necrotic flesh are mixed, first sprinkle Jinhua San on the healthy flesh, then sprinkle Jinsu Dan on the necrotic flesh, and there will be no pain. Otherwise, the pain is unbearable.
Jinhua San (Golden Flower Powder): Treats chronic leg ulcers that do not heal for years, with unbearable foul rotting. Also treats all carbuncles, furuncles, and sores with toxicity. Its function is to remove necrotic tissue and generate muscle. Shu Shigao (Prepared Gypsum Fibrosum) one jin (ground to extreme fineness), Fei Jing Huangdan (Refined Lead Tetroxide) one liang. Mix evenly, sieve, and grind again. Apply with true fragrant sesame oil, cover with oil paper, change once a day, do not... Fa...
