Instruct the patient to lie supine. Take one eel, cut off the tail for about half a meter in length, and let the blood drip onto the corneal opacity (eye nebula). Close the eyes slightly for a moment, then wipe it away. Drip three times daily: morning, noon, and evening. For mild cases, recovery occurs within three days; for dense opacities, continue dripping for several days until healed. It is essential to use a fresh eel each time. After recovery, avoid consuming eel.
Take a piece of white salt head, place it on a lamp in the morning until afternoon, grind it into fine powder, moisten a rush core (Jiedicao), dip it in the salt, and apply it to the opacity. It will naturally disappear within three to five days.
Another prescription: Consume more water chestnuts (Biqie); they will naturally recede after ten-plus days.
Take 2 fen of Dingxiang (Caryophylli Flos), grind into powder. Take one black date (Heizao), remove the skin, and pound them together into pills. If the star-shaped opacity is in the left eye, block the right nostril; if in the right eye, block the left nostril. Recovery occurs in two days.
Regardless of the duration, cases with redness and swelling resembling a peach are treatable. Scrape fingernail dust finely, mix with saliva, and apply to the eye. The fibrous material will naturally gather and be extracted.
Additionally, for foreign bodies entering the eye, use a rush core dipped in fingernail dust inserted into the eye to expel the object.
Alternatively, apply a small amount of head grease/dirt into the eye to expel the object.
Mash roundworms (Huichong) to extract juice and apply to the edge of the eyelid to prevent recurrence permanently. If roundworms are unavailable, mashed maggots can also be used.
Grind Wen Yin (Wenyin, patterned silver) and Qingguo (Canarii Fructus) with water to make a thick juice, mix evenly, and apply externally.
Take 1 liang of Baifan (Alumen) and 3 qian of Tongqing (Chlorocopyrum), grind them finely together. Take 0.5 qian each time, soak in 1 he of hot water, clarify, and wash the eyes with the warm solution. Initially, there will be astringency; keep eyes closed and sit quietly until the astringency subsides, then the eyes will open naturally. Wash four to five times daily for miraculous efficacy.
Extract juice from Sangzhi (Mori Ramulus) by pounding, and apply using a rush core. The opacity will naturally recede.
Take 3 qian of Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) and Bai Juhua (Dendranthema Flos), 2 qian each of Jingjie (Schizonepetae Herba), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Binglang (Arecae Semen), and Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), along with 10 ancient copper coins. Decoct in water. Use this solution for washing over three days, three times daily.
Take 5 qian of Gujingcao (Sparganii Herba) and 5 qian of Shijueming (Haliotidis Concha, calcined), grind into fine powder. Stir-fry the powder with Zhu Gan (Porci Hepar) and consume three to four times for spontaneous recovery. Steaming is also acceptable.
Take equal parts of Xuejie (Dracaenae Sangues), Ruxiang (Olibanum), Moyao (Myrrhae Resina), Saopen, and Tuoseng, grind into fine powder, and apply to the affected area for cure.
