This condition can obscure the white of the eye within half a day and the black of the eye within one day. Take rust from a knife, add a few drops of cool water, and grind the rust into a liquid using the tip of a chopstick. Apply this rust water to the affected area, blinking frequently after each application.

This belongs to the category of *Pterygium* (fleshy growth). The aforementioned formulas are all applicable. Apply raw white honey to the eyes, lie supine for half a day, then wash it off. Once daily, it will heal spontaneously.
Another method: Take three cherries, remove the pits, stir-fry them, and grind them into powder. Roll the powder into paper strips, ignite them, and use the smoke to fumigate the eyes; the growth will disappear.

In cases where a red nodule appears on the sclera, causing immediate swelling of the head and face, administer real bear bile (Xiong Dan) the size of two rice grains, mixed with boiling water for oral administration. Recovery is immediate.

Administer Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction) with added Longdan Cao (Gentian Root), reducing the decoction volume by half before consumption; cure follows.
Additionally, in a case where a woman experienced ocular hemorrhage resembling a spray, or blood flowing down the nose, accompanied by amenorrhea, this was diagnosed as a syndrome of Yin deficiency with hyperactive ministerial fire. Use Dang Gui (Angelica Sinensis, wine-fried), Sheng Di Huang (Rehmannia Root, wine-fried), Jiu Bai Shao (White Peony Root, wine-processed), Chuan Lian Zi (though text says Huang Lian - Coptis Rhizome, fried), Huang Bo (Phellodendron Bark, fried), Zhi Mu (Anemarrhena Rhizome, fried), Tiao Qin (Scutellaria Root, fried), Mu Tong (Akebia Stem), Ce Bai Ye (Biota Tops), Chai Hu (Bupleurum Root), Qiang Huo (Notopterygium Rhizome), Ku Fan (Alum), Peng Sha (Borax). Grind these together into a fine powder (must be residue-free upon entry). Mix with saliva to form pills the size of rice grains. Insert one pill into the eye periodically; symptoms subside shortly after.

Remove the pits from red dates and fill them with Hei Fan (Black Alum). Roast them in charcoal fire until cooked, then grind into a fine powder. Meanwhile, refine Po Xiao (Mirabilite) in a clay pot until it forms beads when dropped in water. Remove and let cool without grinding. Mix 1-2 qian of the date-alum powder with 5-6 fen of Mirabilite. Blend thoroughly, dilute with boiling water, and leave exposed overnight. Wash the eyes with this solution; three to five applications yield a cure.

Fu Pen Zi Ye (Rubus Leaf, powdered) 1 qian, Gan Jiang (Dried Ginger, burnt to ash) and Sheng Fan (Raw Alum) 5 li each, Ku Fan (Burnt Alum) 1 fen. Grind finely, mix with honey, and apply using silk cloth... [Text fragment ends here].

The condition is named "Rotating Margin Wind Eye" (Lan Xian Feng Yan). Use Chuan Lian (Coptis Rhizome) 4-5 fen, cut into rice-grain-sized pieces with a copper knife. Place approximately one level cup of Qi Ai Rong (Mugwort Floss) in a teacup, seal the mouth with thin leather paper, prick multiple holes in the paper, spread the Coptis evenly on the paper. Ignite the mugwort with an incense stick, cover immediately with a cup. Wait until the mugwort smoke dissipates, then remove the cup. Take over ten pieces of Coptis, add 2-3 teaspoons of clear water, steam over rice. Apply to the affected area using a duck feather brush. The root cause is eliminated in three days. If ineffective, treat according to the Copper Green formula below; recovery is assured.
Another method: Take 3 qian of fresh-colored Copper Green (Chun Lv), grind into powder. Mix with thick raw honey and coat the inside of a coarse bowl. Burn mugwort leaves to produce smoke, invert the bowl over the smoke to fumigate until the copper green turns charred black. Remove, let cool, mix with human milk, steam over rice, and apply. For cases unresponsive to other medicines, this formula is miraculous and highly effective. It also treats wind eye following smallpox.
