Wrap the root of the tumor with spider webs. The next day, replace it with fresh spider silk and wrap again. After approximately four or five changes, the tumor will completely subside. If there are solid white powdery substances inside, remove them by hand; there will be no swelling or pain.

Another prescription: *Tianhuafen* (Trichosanthis Radix) 1 liang, Chenbitu (Old Wall Soil) 5 qian, Chuanshanjia (Pangolin Scales) and Chuanbeimu (Fritillariae Cirrhosae Bulbus, removed core) each 3 qian. Grind all into powder, mix evenly, and sprinkle onto plasters for application.

If yellow fluid exudes from the sore, recurs after improvement, and causes unbearable itching, consult the "Baiyougao Formula" (White Oil Ointment) for leg sores to treat it.

This type of tumor causes itching that penetrates to the bone. Upon rupture, numerous lice are found, including one particularly large louse. Pick out all lice with a needle, apply Yuhonggao (Jade Red Plaster) externally (see formulas for carbuncles and toxins), and it will heal spontaneously.

Burn long-handled gourds until charred, grind into powder, mix with oil, and apply topically until the lesion subsides. A case involved a tumor in the armpit resembling a long gourd, which became ulcerated over time. Application of this remedy caused discharge to cease and led to recovery.

Use genuine Wumei (Mume Fructus), remove the pit, burn until the medicinal property is retained (charred but not ashed), grind into powder, and apply topically. It will subside within a few days.

Another prescription: Apply raw radish peel to the affected area. Continuous application several times leads to cure. If it does not heal, treat according to the "Ehe Formula" (Malignant Nodule Formula) in the Carbuncle and Ulcer section.

Additionally, flesh protuberances appearing like cones all over the body, accompanied by pain and itching, are addressed in Volume 16 under the Section on Strange Diseases.

Also known as warts. When pulled, threads three to four cun long may emerge. Mix ginger juice with good vinegar and apply frequently. A patient with recurrent warts, who had failed multiple treatments, was cured in three days using this method.

Another prescription: Decoct Difuzi (Kochiae Fructus) and Baifan (Alumen) in water to wash the area. Subside after several washes; immediate effect.

Another prescription: Mix Songxiang (Rosin) with oil from cypress branches, apply topically, and it will fall off overnight.

Another prescription: Break bitter vegetables (Kucai); the white sap exuding from the break is applied to the lesion, causing it to fall off naturally.

Another prescription: Apply saliva from cattle's mouth frequently; it will fall off.

Small black moles. Prick with a needle, then apply Duan Shi (Calcined Gypsum or similar alkaline mineral treated with alkali water) to the spot; it will subside.

Initially red like a mole, gradually enlarging to the size of a bean. When touched and broken, bright red blood flows. Apply blood of eels mixed with garlic juice and high-quality ink. For severe bleeding, internally administer Liangxue Dihuang Tang (Cool Blood and Rehmannia Decoction).

First prohibition: Guard against leakage of essence. In cases of carbuncles and toxins with redness, swelling, and ulceration, or when fistulas have formed, regardless of duration or size, it is most taboo to leak true yuan (vital energy). Conditions such as seminal emission and careless sexual activity make treatment difficult to succeed. One must first completely cure the seminal emission, ensure husband and wife sleep separately, strictly abstain from sexual intercourse, and then apply treatment according to prescriptions, which will easily yield results.

Second prohibition: Guard against filth. Major carbuncles and malignant toxins become more swollen and painful if contaminated by filth, making healing difficult. Women should avoid close contact with the area during postpartum periods and menstruation to prevent contamination. If women suffer from carbuncles, ulcers, boils, or furuncles themselves, treatment during menstruation rarely shows efficacy; one must wait until menstruation ends to see results.

Third prohibition: Guard against fumigation and hot compresses. While fumigation and hot compresses can help certain sores heal easily, they may cause toxins to retreat into the abdomen, inevitably leading to abdominal distension (drum-like bloating), which is difficult to treat. Only the Shen Deng Zhao Fa (Divine Lamp Illumination Method) is exempt from this prohibition.

Fourth prohibition: Guard against bathing. For various sores caused by damp-heat, with dripping pus and blood, or itching and pain, patients often find relief in bathing. However, bathing increases dampness, hindering rapid recovery. This prohibition does not apply to those located near hot springs.
