Treatment for miscellaneous bleeding, including hematochezia or hematuria caused by gu poison (parasitic disease) and drug toxicity, accompanied by heat syndromes:
*Isatis Radix* (Ganlan), *Rhinoceros Horn* (Xijiao), *Sanguisorbae Radix* (Diyu) (each 8 fen), *Honey* (Mi) (2 he).
The above four ingredients are cut into small pieces, decocted in five sheng of water to obtain one and a half sheng. Strain the dregs, add honey, and simmer until five he remain. Divide into three doses. This medicine is excellent for treating heat-toxin gu poison.

Treatment for lower jiao bleeding:
*Mugwort Leaf* (Aiye), *Adzuki Bean* (Chixiaodou), *Angelica Sinensis Root* (Danggui), *Donkey-hide Gelatin* (Ejiao) (each 4 fen).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Use wheat flour paste boiled in water as a binder to make pills the size of *Cerasus pseudocerasus* seeds (Wutongzi). Take thirty pills per dose on an empty stomach with rice water.

Treatment for massive hematemesis (up to one dou), with a fine pulse and rapid, rushing breath. This is due to sudden rebellion of Yang Qi, causing blood to flow horizontally without a resting place, deviating from the meridians, resulting in sudden and violent hemorrhage, akin to muddy water overflowing.
*Platycladi Cacumen* (Baiye), *Zingiberis Rhizoma* (Ganjiang), *Donkey-hide Gelatin* (Ejiao).
Grind the above ingredients equally into coarse powder. Take five qian per dose with two zhan of water, decoct until one zhan remains, strain, and take warm.

For patients whose hematemesis worsens after taking decoctions, presenting with chest stuffiness, confusion, irritability, frequent nausea, and restlessness, this is due to rebellious Qi stagnation and blood accumulation in the upper chest. The pulse is deep and hidden; urgent emesis is required to expel the blood.
*Cucumis Melon Seed* (Gua Di) (3 fen), *Asarum Heterotropoides* (Duheng), *Ginseng Radix* (Renshen) (each 1 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Mix with warm fermented grain water and administer one fangcun bi (a square-inch measure). Soon, clear yellow fluid or one to two sheng of blood will be vomited, which is harmless.

Treatment for persistent hematemesis:
*Scutellariae Radix* (Huangqin), *Donkey-hide Gelatin* (Ejiao).
Grind the above ingredients equally into fine powder. Mix with rice water and take two qian at any time.

Treatment for persistent epistaxis:
*Cinnabar* (Zhusha), *Borax* (Pengsha), *Natrii Sulfas* (Yaxiao) (each 1 qian).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Mix with vinegar and wheat flour paste to make pills the size of sesame seeds. When epistaxis occurs, first wash the soles of both feet clean with fresh well water. Then, mash two slices of garlic into a paste and apply them to the soles of the feet.

Discussion: All Qi belongs to Yang, and all Blood belongs to Yin. When Yin is excessive, Yang is deficient; when Yang is excessive, Yin is deficient. As stated in the classics, "When Yang prevails, Yin suffers disease; when Yin prevails, Yang suffers disease." Regarding various types of bleeding and epistaxis... [Text fragment missing]...
*Platycladi Cacumen* (Bai Pi), *Gardeniae Fructus* (Zhizi) (each 1 liang), *Licorice Root* (Gancao) (0.5 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into coarse powder. Take five qian per dose with two zhan of water, decoct until one zhan remains, strain, and take warm.

Treatment for blood loss due to Spleen deficiency:
*Rehmanniae Radix* juice (Sheng Dihuang Zhi) (0.5 sheng), *Rhei Radix et Rhizoma* powder (Dahuang Mo) (1 liang).
First, boil down the Rehmanniae juice by half. Add the Rhei powder and simmer together. Mix and form pills the size of *Cerasus pseudocerasus* seeds. Take five pills per dose with rice water at any time.
