Although clear and turbid, still and moving differ, their forms and methods of imitation are similar. Investigating women's diseases, those different from men are few in number. Ancient formulas state that women's diseases are ten times harder to treat than men's; is this not said profoundly? However, among the thirty-six diseases, the category of postpartum confinement is unique to women. As for external injuries from wind, summerheat, cold, and dampness, internal accumulation from anger, joy, worry, and thought, dietary irregularities, sexual fatigue, and conditions of deficiency, excess, cold, and heat, these are all identical to men. Treatment based on the cause can reveal this.
