妊娠期间出现呕吐，且多次发作、恶心不止的，是脾胃气机阻滞所致。适宜使用香砂六君汤。

妊娠期间腰痛剧烈，恐怕导致流产的，是带脉松弛所致。适宜使用加味固胎丸。

妊娠期间腹痛，痛甚也能导致流产的，是胎气不和所致。适宜使用调气安胎饮。

妊娠期间大便干结，以及口干、怕热的，是血虚导致胎燥所致。适宜使用麻仁养血汤。

妊娠期间水肿，以及腹中胀满的，是胞宫水湿不化所致。适宜使用加味防己汤。

[General Principle] To secure the fetus, strengthening the Spleen is the fundamental source, as the Earth element nurtures all things like soil. The Kidney governs the suspension of the uterus (the organ holding the fetus) and should also be consolidated; the Liver governs storing blood to nourish the uterus, which requires particular attention.
Vomiting during pregnancy that occurs repeatedly with incessant nausea is caused by stagnation of Qi in the Spleen and Stomach. Xiangsha Liujun Tang (Aucklandia and Amomum Six Gentlemen Decoction) is appropriate.

Severe lower back pain during pregnancy, fearing miscarriage, is caused by laxity of the Dai Mai (Girdle Vessel). Jiawei Gutai Wan (Modified Fetus-Securing Pill) is appropriate.
