治麻痘壅热不出，以此发之。
升麻（酒洗） 麻黄（酒炒） 人中黄 牛蒡子 蝉蜕 水煎服。
神治痘后生疮，每年 发如癞，诸药不效，用之三日，即愈。
熟鹅油（四两） 蜜蜡（五分） 莱菔子（焙，研细末，三分） 川椒（焙，研细末，
三分） 土朱（四分）。四味俱入油内，搅匀涂之。
治麻痘色白。
人参 当归（酒洗） 红花（酒洗） 赤芍（桂水炒） 甘草 水煎服。
治麻症咳嗽。
桑白皮（蜜炙） 地骨皮（洗去土硬） 甘草 淡竹叶 灯心水煎服。
治麻后咳嗽出血。
知母 贝母 天门冬（去心） 桔梗 甘草 杏仁（去皮尖） 鼠粘子 石膏
（） 马兜铃 糯米水煎服。
治痘黑陷倒靥，干枯不起者神验。
月魄（蟾酥，少许） 吐月华（牛黄，二分） 银红（朱砂，一钱） 男王（雄黄，
三分） 梅精（冰片，二分） 用 猪尾血为丸。麻子大。薄荷汤下一丸。移时红活。
治痘黑陷甚者。
红芽大戟，用浆水煮极软，去骨，晒干，复纳入汁，汁尽焙干，为末，丸如粟米
大，每服一二十丸，研赤，芝麻汤下。
治痘黑陷，项强目直视，腹胀喘急发搐。
蝉蜕（五钱，酒净） 地龙（一两，去土）
为末，量儿大小，煎乳香汤调下。
一方，用蚕茧烧灰存性，加枯矾少许，又方，用牛粪烧存性，加麝少许。又方，用
陈墙上败草，或晒或焙，为末。又方，用陈墙上白螺蛳，烧存性，为末。又方，松花一味，研为细末。
To treat measles or smallpox where heat-toxin is congested and the rash fails to erupt, use this formula to disperse the pathogen.
Shengma (Rhizoma Cimicifugae, washed with wine), Mahuang (Herba Ephedrae, fried with wine), Renzhonghuang (Human excremental yellow), Niubangzi (Fructus Arctii), Chantui (Periostracum Cicadae). Decoct in water and take orally.
Divine efficacy formula: To treat sores appearing after smallpox recovery, recurring annually like leprosy, unresponsive to other medicines. Use this formula for three days, and it will be cured.
Shu Eyou (Cooked Goose Fat, 4 liang), Mila (Beeswax, 5 fen), Laofuzi (Radish Seed, roasted and ground to fine powder, 3 fen), Chuanjiao (Sichuan Pepper, roasted and ground to fine powder, 3 fen), Tuzhu (Earth Cinnabar, 4 fen). Mix all four ingredients into the oil, stir evenly, and apply topically.
To treat measles or smallpox with pale color.
Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, washed with wine), Honghua (Flos Carthami, washed with wine), Chishao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra, fried with Cinnamon twig water), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae). Decoct in water and take orally.
To treat cough caused by measles syndrome.
Sangbaipi (Cortex Mori Radicis, honey-fried), Digupi (Cortex Lycii Radicis, washed to remove soil and hardness), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae), Danzhuyez (Folium Bambusae in Taeniam), Dengxincao (Medulla Junci). Decoct in water and take orally.
To treat cough with hemoptysis after measles.
Zhimu (Rhizoma Anemarrhenae), Beimu (Bulbus Fritillariae Cirrhosae), Tianmendong (Rhizoma Asparagi), Jiegeng (Radix Platycodonis), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae), Xingren (Semen Pruni Armeniacae, skin and tips removed), Shuniuzi (Fructus Arctii, i.e., Niubangzi), Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum), Madouling (Fructus Aristolochiae), Nuomi (Oryza Sativa Glutinosa). Decoct in water and take orally.
To treat severe smallpox involution (black depression and inverted crusts) that is dry and does not rise. This formula is divinely effective.
Yuepo (Chan Su, Toad Venom, a small amount), Tu Yuehua (Niu Huang, Calculus Bovis, 2 fen), Yin Hong (Zhu Sha, Cinnabaris, 1 qian), Nan Wang (Xiong Huang, Realgar, 3 fen), Mei Jing (Bing Pian, Borneolum Syntheticum, 2 fen). Form pills using pig tail blood, size of hemp seeds. Take one pill with Bohe Tang (Mint Decoction). After a while, the lesions turn red and vibrant.

Hongya Daji (Radix Euphorbiae Humifusae), boil in starch water until extremely soft, remove the woody core, sun-dry, then re-soak in the juice until absorbed, bake dry, grind to powder. Form pills the size of millet grains. Take 10-20 pills each time, administered with Chi Zhima Tang (Red Sesame Decoction).
To treat smallpox involution with neck stiffness, fixed gaze, abdominal distension, panting, urgency, and convulsions.
Chantui (Periostracum Cicadae, 5 qian, cleaned with wine), Dilong (Pheretima, 1 liang, cleaned of soil).
Grind to powder. Based on the child's age and size, mix with Xurxiang Tang (Frankincense Decoction) and administer.
Another prescription: Burn silkworm cocoons to ash but preserve their nature, add a small amount of Kufan (Alumen).
