黄 （一钱五分） 人参 甘草（炙，各一钱） 白术（炒黄） 陈皮（留白） 当归
（酒炒，五分） 升麻（蜜酒炒） 柴胡（各三分） 姜枣水煎服。
治痘顶不起，血不红活，虽或成浆，而皮软色白，乃气血不足之症也。

分） 山楂（八分） 红花（酒洗） 白术（糯米水洗，八分） 姜水煎服。
治浆既成，皮软色白，乃气不足也。气不足补气，血不足补脾，脾旺则血生，固其本也。

淫羊藿（三分，炙则发痒） 人参（八分） 穿山甲（土炒，三分） 黄 （
一钱五分） 甘草（五分） 川芎（酒洗，五分） 当归（酒洗，八分）姜枣糯术水煎服。一方加木香二分。
治痘血热焦紫。

水煎服。
又方
当归（酒洗，焙干） 赤芍（酒浸。炒） 紫草 川芎 红花（各五钱） 血竭（一钱）
木香（二钱）为末，每五岁者，服一钱，十岁已上者二钱，好酒调下。热极焦紫不红活者，酒煎紫草汁调下。

Huangqi (Astragali Radix, 1 qian 5 fen) Renshen (Ginseng Radix) Gancao (Licorice Root, honey-fried, each 1 qian) Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, stir-fried until slightly yellow) Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, retaining the white inner layer) Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, wine-stir-fried, 5 fen) Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma, honey-wine stir-fried) Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix, each 3 fen). Decoct with fresh ginger and jujube for oral administration.
Treats smallpox pustules that fail to elevate, with blood that is not ruddy and vibrant. Although pus may have formed, the skin is thin and pale, indicating a syndrome of qi and blood deficiency.

Decoct with fresh ginger for oral administration.
Treats cases where pus has formed but the skin remains thin and pale, indicating qi deficiency. When qi is deficient, tonify qi; when blood is deficient, tonify the spleen. A robust spleen generates blood, thereby consolidating the root.
Huangqi (Astragali Radix, 1 qian 5 fen) Renshen (Ginseng Radix, 1 qian) Gancao (Licorice Root, honey-fried, 3 fen) Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma) Baishao (Paeoniae Radix Alba, each 8 fen) Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, washed with rice water, 8 fen) Guangui (Cinnamomi Cortex, 3 fen) Fuling (Poria, 5 fen) Zicao (Arnebiae Radix seu Lithospermi Radix, washed with wine, 5 fen). Add one slice of fresh ginger, one red date, and 50 grains of glutinous rice. Alternatively, add 3 fen of Honghua (Carthami Flos) washed with wine.
Treats smallpox that fails to swell and form pus.
Yinyanghuo (Epimedii Folium, 3 fen; note: if honey-fried, it may cause itching) Renshen (Ginseng Radix, 8 fen) Shanjiajia (Manis Squama, earth-stir-fried, 3 fen) Huangqi (Astragali Radix, 1 qian 5 fen) Gancao (Licorice Root, 5 fen) Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma, wine-washed, 5 fen) Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, wine-washed, 8 fen). Decoct with fresh ginger, jujube, glutinous rice, and Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma). Another prescription adds Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix, 2 fen).
Treats smallpox with blood heat manifesting as scorched purple discoloration.
Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma) Chishao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra) Shengdi (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata) Honghua (Carthami Flos) Zicao (Arnebiae Radix seu Lithospermi Radix). Decoct with water for oral administration.

Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, wine-washed and baked dry) Chishao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra, soaked in wine and stir-fried) Zicao (Arnebiae Radix seu Lithospermi Radix) Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma) Honghua (Carthami Flos, each 5 qian) Xuejie (Santalum Rubrum, 1 qian) Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix, 2 qian). Grind into powder. For children aged five, administer 1 qian; for those over ten, administer 2 qian, mixed with good wine. For cases of extreme heat resulting in scorched purple discoloration lacking vitality, mix with juice from Zicao (Arnebiae Radix seu Lithospermi Radix) decocted in wine.
