心肺脉俱洪大有力者，宜之。
熟地（十两） 生地（五两） 丹参（三两） 丹皮（三两） 薏苡仁（六两） 地骨皮（二两）
紫菀（二两） 款冬蕊（二两） 牛膝（三两） 麦冬（四两） 姜炭（六钱） 白蜜（六两） 另炼，入药，
以上用清水煎，取头汁，二汁，去渣，慢火炼成膏滋，入后药，并炼蜜，收入瓷器中藏贮。白茯苓
三两，研净末，川贝母，去心二两四钱，研净末，二味并炼蜜，收入前膏，每食远，白汤化服五钱，日三服。
当归（四两，酒浸） 知母（二两，酒浸） 沉香（五钱） 黄柏（酒炒褐色） 山药 菊
花杜仲（炒） 楮实（各二两） 青盐（一两，炒） 菟丝子（四两，酒炒） 熟地（八两）
为末，酒糊丸，或蜜丸，桐子大，每服五
十丸，空心白汤下。
生地黄（酒浸） 熟地黄（酒浸，蒸，俱不犯铁器） 天冬（去心） 五味子 茯
神（各四两） 莲肉 人参 枸杞子（各二两） 干山药（炒，二两） 菟丝子（一斤，酒煮数沸，
捣烂压作饼，晒干，净称半斤） 为末，蜜丸，每服五十丸，加至八九十丸，空心白
汤，或淡盐汤下，温酒俱可。
枸杞 当归 菟丝子 生地（俱酒浸） 伏神（各一两） 知母 黄柏（酒炒，各七钱）
山药 巴戟（去心） 人参 天冬（去心） 甘菊 五味子（各五钱） 为末，蜜
丸，桐子大，空心盐汤下五十丸。
一方
治痨瘵。
青蒿一斗五升，童便三斗，文武火熬，约童便减至二斗，去蒿再熬至一斗，入猪胆
汁七枚，再熬数沸，再入甘草末，收之，每用一匙，白汤调服。
If the pulses of the Heart and Lung are both surging (Hong) and forceful, this prescription is suitable.
Shu Di Huang (Prepared Rehmannia Root, 10 liang), Sheng Di Huang (Raw Rehmannia Root, 5 liang), Dan Shen (Salvia Miltiorrhiza Root, 3 liang), Mu Dan Pi (Moutan Cortex, 3 liang), Yi Yi Ren (Coix Seed, 6 liang), Di Gu Pi (Lycium Bark, 2 liang), Zi Wan (Aster Root, 2 liang), Kuan Dong Mi (Farfara Flower Bud, 2 liang), Niu Xi (Achyranthes Root, 3 liang), Mai Dong (Ophiopogon Tuber, 4 liang), Jiang Tan (Charred Ginger, 6 qian), Bai Mi (White Honey, 6 liang, separately refined and added to the medicine).
Decoct the above ingredients in clear water, collect the first and second decoctions, remove the dregs, and slowly refine into a paste (Gao Zi). Add the following herbs and refined honey, and store in porcelain vessels. Bai Fu Ling (Poria, 3 liang), ground into fine powder; Chuan Bei Mu (Fritillaria Cirrhosa Bulb, 2 liang 4 qian, heart removed), ground into fine powder. Mix these two powders with refined honey and incorporate them into the aforementioned paste. Take 5 qian dissolved in white boiled water well before meals, three times daily.
Dang Gui (Angelica Sinensis Root, 4 liang, soaked in wine), Zhi Mu (Anemarrhena Rhizome, 2 liang, soaked in wine), Chen Xiang (Aquilaria Wood, 5 qian), Huang Bo (Phellodendron Bark, stir-fried with wine until brown), Shan Yao (Dioscorea Rhizome), Ju Hua (Chrysanthemum Flower), Du Zhong (Eucommia Bark, stir-fried), Chu Shi (Cudrania Fruit, each 2 liang), Qing Yan (Green Salt, 1 liang, stir-fried), Tu Si Zi (Cuscuta Seed, 4 liang, stir-fried with wine), Shu Di Huang (Prepared Rehmannia Root, 8 liang).
Grind into powder, bind with wine paste to make pills, or use honey to make pills, size of wutong seeds. Take 50 pills per dose, swallowed with white boiled water on an empty stomach.
Sheng Di Huang (Raw Rehmannia Root, soaked in wine), Shu Di Huang (Prepared Rehmannia Root, soaked in wine and steamed, ensure no contact with iron vessels), Tian Dong (Asparagus Tuber, heart removed), Wu Wei Zi (Schisandra Berry), Fu Shen (Poria with Hostwood, each 4 liang), Lian Rou (Lotus Seed Flesh), Ren Shen (Ginseng Root), Gou Qi Zi (Goji Berry, each 2 liang), Gan Shan Yao (Dried Dioscorea Rhizome, stir-fried, 2 liang), Tu Si Zi (Cuscuta Seed, 1 jin, boiled in wine for several boils, pounded into a paste, pressed into cakes, dried, net weight half a jin).
Grind into powder, make honey pills. Take 50 pills per dose, gradually increasing to 80-90 pills. Swallow with white boiled water or light salt water on an empty stomach; warm wine is also acceptable.
Gou Qi Zi (Goji Berry), Dang Gui (Angelica Sinensis Root), Tu Si Zi (Cuscuta Seed), Sheng Di Huang (Raw Rehmannia Root, all soaked in wine), Fu Shen (Poria with Hostwood, each 1 liang), Zhi Mu (Anemarrhena Rhizome), Huang Bo (Phellodendron Bark, stir-fried with wine, each 7 qian), Shan Yao (Dioscorea Rhizome), Ba Ji Tian (Morinda Root, heart removed), Ren Shen (Ginseng Root), Tian Dong (Asparagus Tuber, heart removed), Gan Ju (Chrysanthemum Flower), Wu Wei Zi (Schisandra Berry, each 5 qian).
Grind into powder, make honey pills, size of wutong seeds. Take 50 pills per dose, swallowed with salt water on an empty stomach.
Another method
Treats Lao Zhai (Consumption/Tuberculosis).
Qing Hao (Artemisia Annua Herb, 1 dou 5 sheng), Tong Bian (Child's Urine, 3 dou). Decoct over moderate heat until the urine reduces to 2 dou. Remove the herb and continue decocting until it reduces to 1 dou. Add bile from seven pigs, boil for several more turns, then add Gan Cao powder (Licorice Root Powder) to finish. Take one spoonful per dose, mixed with white boiled water.
