Take 40-50 pills each time, adjusting dosage based on deficiency or excess. Wash down with tea water or plain warm water after meals and before bed. This pill attacks phlegm accumulation in the intestines and stomach, and is the most crucial medicine for pediatric cases involving food stagnation, phlegm-induced convulsions, excessive phlegm, excess heat, etc. For weak constitutions, add one dose of Liujunzi Tang (Six Gentlemen Decoction), mix with Zhuli (Bamboo Sap) and Jiangzhi (Ginger Juice) to form a thin paste, dry in a porcelain vessel, then mix again with bamboo sap and ginger juice and dry. Repeat this process three times. Finally, form pills the size of adzuki beans using bamboo sap and ginger juice. Take 100 pills each time, far from meals, washed down with rice water. Named Zhuli Datan Wan (Bamboo Sap Reaching Phlegm Pill). It enables phlegm to exit via the large intestine through stool without damaging Yuan Qi, which is miraculous. Pregnant women must avoid it.

Treats sudden hidden pain in the chest, back, ribs, neck, hands, feet, waist, and hips, with pulling and cramping pain in bones and tendons that migrates frequently. This is caused by phlegm disturbing the upper and lower chest and diaphragm. Or treat cold bi-syndrome in hands and feet, blocked qi and blood vessels, often misdiagnosed as paralysis.

Also treats edema, abdominal distension, fullness, panting, wind-heat dryness depression, limb numbness, and migrating pain. Suitable for robust individuals with strong qi.
