The *Zhubing Yuanhou Lun* (Treatise on the Pathogenesis and Manifestations of All Diseases) states: "Chaitui" refers to unilateral swelling of the scrotum. In individuals with deficiency on one side, Qi deficiency leads to impaired circulation, causing Qi and blood to stagnate and swell on that side.
The *Qianjin Fang* (Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) records the Wudeng Wan (Five-Grade Pill) for treating pediatric unilateral scrotal enlargement, involving the testicles and scrotum:
Fermented Soybean Paste (Douchi), Peony Bark (Mudanpi), Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng), Cinnamon Twig Heart (Guixin), Phellodendron Bark (Huangbai) (each two liang).
These five ingredients are processed into pills the size of soybeans. For a three-year-old child, administer five pills per dose, three times daily. For younger children, reduce the dosage according to circumstances; the pill can be placed on the nipple for the infant to suckle.
The *Zhubing Yuanhou Lun* states: Pediatric rectal prolapse is often caused by diarrhea, resulting from cold deficiency of the Large Intestine combined with wind pathogen invasion.
Su Jing's *Bencao Zhu* (Commentary on Materia Medica) states: Burn turtle head to ash and apply topically.
*Bencao Shiyi* (Supplement to Materia Medica) states: Some use Siyu as medicine; snails and turtle heads, when burned to powder and applied, can treat rectal prolapse, allowing it to retract spontaneously.
The *Luyuan Fang* (Verified Prescriptions): Take Iron Essence Powder and insert it into the anus.
Another prescription: It is suitable to moxa seven to nine moxibustion cones on the coccyx (Guizhui).
The *Ge Shi Fang* (Prescriptions of Master Ge): Heat calcined gypsum, wrap it in old silk or cloth, and sit on it; replace when cool.
The *Seng Shen Fang* (Prescription of Monk Shen): Take one liang of Polygonum Multiflorum Vine Stem Spore (Puhuang), mix with lard, and apply topically. It will heal within no more than three applications.
The *Qianjin Fang*: Apply moxibustion at Baihui (GV20) on the vertex of the head, and the rectum will reduce.
The *Chan Jing* (Obstetrics Classic) states: Take three jin of raw iron, boil in ten dou of water until reduced to five sheng of liquid. Use this liquid to wash the area three times daily, then apply Puhuang powder on top. This is effective.
The *Zimu Milu* (Secret Record of Mother and Child) states: A prescription for pediatric anal pruritus caused by worms:
Make paste from jujubes, roll into a strip three cun long, wrap in silk, and insert into the anus. Remove the next day; the worms will die.
Another prescription: Use Lead White (Hufen) and Realgar in equal parts, inserted into the anus.
Current commentary: Boil peach bark to wash the area; boiling goji berries to wash is also effective.
The *Ge Shi Fang* treats sudden sores in the lower genitalia:
Boil fermented soybean paste water to soak the area.
Another prescription: Use KT juice to grind ink, for application/delivery.
The *Zhubing Yuanhou Lun* states: Gan Shi disease is mostly due to prolonged diarrhea leading to Spleen and Stomach weakness. Between the intestines and stomach, parasites move and invade the five zang organs, causing mental restlessness and oppression; if they ascend and erode, sores appear in the mouth, nose, and gums; if they descend and erode, the anus becomes injured and ulcerated, both being difficult to treat. It may also result from prolonged diarrhea, heat in the zang organs causing lethargy, or a preference for sweet and delicious foods, which generates steaming heat and agitates the blood, leading to this condition.
The *Zimu Milu* states: Mix sheep gallbladder bile with grain mash and irrigate the lower part; pig gallbladder bile is also good.
The *Qianjin Fang*: Finely mix Lead White (Hufen) and apply topically.
Another prescription: Chew hemp seeds and apply topically.
Another prescription: Insert iron filings/clothing into the lower part, and it will heal.
