Fujing Baotong Decoction: Treats sudden onset of cold injury, presenting with cold limbs, vomiting, diarrhea with clear and odorless stool and cold body temperature, chills without sweat. This is a syndrome where excessive Yin obscures Yang. Ingredients: Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) [prepared, peeled, umbilicus removed] 5 qian, Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum) [prepared] 5 qian, Congbai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus) [juice extracted] 5 stalks. Preparation: Use two large bowls of water, decoct Fuzi and Ganjiang until reduced to one bowl. Add Congbai juice and Pig Gallbladder Bile (Suis Vesica Bile), mix well, and take warm. Additionally, take a large handful of Congbai, bind lightly with a string, cut off both ends, retain about 2 cun of the white part, heat one side, and apply it to the navel. Use an iron pot filled with charcoal fire to moxibustion-heat the top of the Congbai, utilizing the heat to enter the abdomen through the navel. For severe cases, continue applying 2-3 cakes. For even more severe cases, use Moxa Cone (Ai Ye) to moxa Guanyuan (CV4) and Qihai (CV6), 20-30 cones each. Internal and external treatments combined, aiming within one shichen (2 hours) to dissipate Yin and restore Yang. Once the body warms and coldness subsides, proceed to the third formula.
Fujing Tang: Treats sudden cold injury in patients with inherently deficient interstices, profuse spontaneous sweating, cold body, and cold limbs. Or when false heat and restlessness appear externally due to Yin excess internally forcing Yang to escape externally; this formula omits Congbai from the previous one. Ingredients: Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) [prepared, peeled, umbilicus removed] 5 qian, Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum) [prepared] 5 qian. Preparation: Use two large bowls of water, decoct until reduced to one bowl. Add a clam-shell measure of Pig Gallbladder Bile (Suis Vesica Bile), soak and mix, take warm or cool. Do not use Congbai application or Moxa.
Fujing Guigui Tang: Used as the second dose following Fujing Tang for acute illness. Since Fujing primarily restores Yang, but the invading Cold pathogen first damages Ying Blood, Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) and Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex) are added to dispel Cold from the Ying level, ensuring the medicine matches the disease. Ingredients: Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) [prepared, peeled, umbilicus removed], Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum) [prepared], Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex) [each 2.5 qian]. Preparation: Use two large bowls of water, decoct until reduced to one bowl. Add a clam-shell measure of Honey (Miy), take warm.
Fujing Guigui Shenganzhi Tang: Used as the third dose when Yang is about to return and Yin-Cold has slightly decreased, showing initial signs of recovery. Ingredients: Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) [prepared, peeled, umbilicus removed], Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum) [prepared], Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex) [each 1.5 qian], Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Zhigancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Melle) [honey-fried, each 2 qian]. Preparation: Use two large bowls of water, Wei Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum) [3 slices], Dazao (Zizyphi Fructus) [2 pieces] (omit Wei Jiang if spontaneous sweating occurs). Decoct until reduced to one bowl. Add three clam-shell measures of Honey (Miy), take warm.
Xinwen Pingbu Tang: Treats acute cold injury after taking the first three formulas, where Yang has returned, body is warm with rosy complexion, limbs are not cold, and vomiting/diarrhea are gradually resolving. The fourth formula uses this to peacefully regulate Zang-Fu organs and Ying-Wei, preventing harm from medicinal bias. Ingredients: Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) [prepared, peeled, umbilicus removed], Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum) [prepared, each 5 fen], Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) [1 qian], Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex) [5 fen], Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Zhigancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Melle) [honey-fried], Huangqi (Astragali Radix) [honey-fried], Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) [soil-fried], Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) [wine-fried, each 1 qian], Wuweizi (Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus) [12 grains]. Preparation: Use two large bowls of water, Wei Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum) [3 slices], Dazao (Zizyphi Fructus) [2 pieces split]. Decoct until reduced to one bowl. Add five clam-shell measures of Honey (Miy), take warm.
Ghan Han Buqi Tang: Used after all symptoms of cold injury have resolved post-medication, but slight obstruction remains in the meridians, unrelieved by Xin-Wen (Acrid-Warm) medicines. The fifth formula uses Gan-Ping (Sweet-Neutral) Qi-assisting herbs for slow regulation. Ingredients: Renshen (Ginseng Radix) [1 qian], Maidong (Ophiopogonis Radix) [1 qian], Huangqi (Astragali Radix) [honey-fried 1.2 qian], Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) [1 qian wine-fried], Zhigancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Melle) [honey-fried 7 fen], Shengdihuang (Rehmanniae Radix) [2 qian], Mudanpi (Moutan Cortex) [8 fen], Danzhuye (Lophatheri Herba) [fresh juice少许 or dried 7 fen]. Preparation: Use two large bowls of water, decoct until reduced to one bowl. Add a little Pear Juice (Lizhi) and take hot. If Pear Juice is unavailable, Zhu Li (Bambusae Sap) can substitute.
The sequence of these six formulas was custom-defined by Yu Chang. However, Zhang Zhongjing's "Zubing Fanglun" is lost, making verification difficult. Referencing various formulas for deficiency-cold in Shanghan Lun and Jingui Yaolue clarifies the principles, showing that treating deficiency-cold in febrile and miscellaneous diseases requires such medication. Thus, the treatment of acute diseases can be trusted. Reviewing various homeopathic prescriptions to evaluate gains and losses reveals 42 formulas in total: 14 from Shanghan Lun, 12 from Jingui Yaolue, and 10 evaluated general formulas.
Guizhi Tang Plus Fuzi Formula: Treats excessive sweating in Shanghan leading to continuous leakage, aversion to wind, difficulty urinating, slight stiffness of four limbs, a syndrome of Yang collapse. Ingredients: Guizhi (Cinnamomi Ramulus) [3 qian], Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) [3 qian wine-fried], Zhigancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Melle) [honey-fried 2 qian], Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) [prepared, peeled, umbilicus removed 3 qian], Wei Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum) [2 qian], Dazao (Zizyphi Fructus) [2 qian split]. Preparation: Use two large bowls of water, decoct until reduced to one bowl, take warm. Note: For leakage sweating and Yang collapse, Wei Jiang is acrid and dispersing; use cautiously, approx. 1 qian.
Zhenwu Tang: Treats Taiyang syndrome failing to resolve after mistaken sweating, presenting with palpitations, dizziness, tremors, a syndrome of Yang collapse. Also treats Shaoyin syndrome with abdominal pain, diarrhea, and fluid retention. Ingredients: Fuling (Poria) [3 liang], Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) [3 liang], Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) [3 liang], Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) [2 liang], Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) [one piece prepared, peeled, umbilicus removed, broken into 8 pieces]. Preparation: Decoct the five ingredients in eight sheng of water to obtain three sheng. Strain, take 7 he warm, three times daily. If coughing, add Wuweizi (Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus) half sheng, Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum) each 1 liang. (Xixin and Ganjiang's acridity disperses cold-fluid; Wuweizi's sourness astringes Lung Qi to stop cough.) If urination is free, remove Fuling. (Fuling is bland and draining; if urination is already free, further draining risks secretly depleting Yin fluids.) If diarrhea, remove Shaoyao, add Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum) 2 liang. (Shaoyao astringes Yin, unsuitable for fluid retention in diarrhea; Ganjiang disperses cold and warms Spleen Earth, controlling Water.) If vomiting, remove Fuzi, add Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) to make half jin. (Adding Shengjiang for vomiting is appropriate, but since water-cold reversing upward causes vomiting, Fuzi should normally be used. Why remove it? Zhenwu Tang lacks other hot herbs besides Fuzi; removing it applies only if there is pre-existing heat in Lung/Stomach causing habitual vomiting—a method beyond standard rules. See Tongmai Sini Tang below where vomiting adds Shengjiang without removing Fuzi, which is clearer. Thus, using Zhenwu Tang for acute vomiting is inappropriate.)
Shaoyao-Gancao-Fuzi Tang: Treats Shanghan failing to resolve after sweating, with increased aversion to cold, a syndrome of Yang deficiency. Ingredients: Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) [3 liang], Zhigancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Melle) [honey-fried 2 liang], Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) [one piece prepared, peeled, umbilicus removed, broken into 8 pieces]. Preparation: Decoct three ingredients in five sheng of water to obtain 1.5 sheng. Take 0.5 sheng warm.
Fuling Sini Tang: Treats Shanghan where sweating and purgation were repeatedly mistaken, injuring both Yin and Yang, presenting with irritability. Ingredients: Fuling (Poria) [6 liang], Renshen (Ginseng Radix) [1 liang], Zhigancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Melle) [honey-fried 2 liang], Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum) [1 liang], Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix) [one piece raw, peeled, broken into 8 pieces]. Preparation: Decoct five ingredients in five sheng of water to obtain three sheng. Strain, take 7 he warm, three times daily.
Guizhi Tang Remove Shaoyao Plus Fuzi Formula: Treats Shanghan after purgation, presenting with rapid pulse, chest fullness, slight aversion to cold, a syndrome of Yang deficiency. Also treats Wind-Dampness binding; remove Shaoyao and add Baizhu. Ingredients: Guizhi (Cinnamomi Ramulus) [3 liang peeled], Zhigancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Melle) [honey-fried 2 liang], Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) [one piece prepared], Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) [3 liang sliced], Dazao (Zizyphi Fructus) [12 pieces split]. Preparation: Cut the five ingredients, decoct in seven sheng of water over low heat to obtain three sheng. Strain, take 1 sheng warm.
Ganjiang-Fuzi Tang: Treats Shanghan after purgation and subsequent sweating, daytime irritability, nighttime calm, deep and faint pulse, a syndrome of Yang deficiency. Ingredients: Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum) [1 liang], Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix) [one piece peeled, raw]. Preparation: Decoct two ingredients in three sheng of water to obtain one sheng. Strain, take all at once.
Gancao-Fuzi Tang: Treats Wind-Dampness binding, painful pulling sensations, shortness of breath, aversion to wind, a syndrome of Yang deficiency. Ingredients: Zhigancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Melle) [honey-fried 2 liang], Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) [two pieces prepared, peeled], Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) [2 liang], Guizhi (Cinnamomi Ramulus) [4 liang peeled]. Preparation: Decoct four ingredients in six sheng of water to obtain three sheng. Strain, take 1 sheng warm, three times daily. Initial dose inducing slight sweat resolves symptoms, appetite returns, sweat stops. If irritability recurs, take 5 he. If 1 sheng is too much, 6-7 he is optimal.
Fuzi Xie Xin Tang: Treats Shanghan with epigastric fullness/stuffiness, aversion to cold, sweating, where Heat pathogen is abundant but True Yang is deficient. Jingui Yaolue has Dahuang Fuzi Tang with similar intent. Ingredients: Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) [2 liang], Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) [each 1 liang], Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) [one piece prepared, decocted separately for juice]. Preparation: Cut four ingredients. Soak three in boiling hemp tea, strain quickly, add Fuzi juice, divide into two warm doses.
Sini Tang: General formula for Three Yin channel syndromes, cold limbs, deficiency-cold diarrhea, urgently warming the Zang organs. Ingredients: Zhigancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Melle) [honey-fried 2 liang], Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum) [3 liang, 4 liang for strong persons], Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix) [large one piece raw, peeled]. Preparation: Decoct three ingredients in three sheng of water to obtain 1.2 sheng. Divide into two warm doses.
Tongmai Sini Jiajian Tang: Treats Jueyin syndrome with clear grain diarrhea, interior cold exterior heat, cold limbs, aversion to cold, faint pulse nearing extinction. Uses the preceding Sini Tang formula. If face is red, add Congbai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus) 9 stalks. (Red face indicates Yang blocked above; Congbai unblocks Yang, hence "Tongmai".) If abdominal pain, remove Congbai, add Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) 2 liang. (Abdominal pain indicates True Yin deficiency; remove Congbai to avoid aiding Yang, add Shaoyao to gather Yin.) If vomiting, add Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) 2 liang. If sore throat, remove Shaoyao, add Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix) 1 liang. (Sore throat indicates Yin Qi knotting above; remove Shaoyao to avoid gathering Yin, add Jiegeng to benefit throat.) If diarrhea stops but pulse does not emerge, remove Jiegeng, add Renshen (Ginseng Radix) 2 liang. (Diarrhea stopping means pathogen waning, but pulse not emerging means Yang not restored. Pulse is precursor to Qi-Blood; Yang restoration also requires filling Yin-Blood, hence Renshen. Remove Jiegeng to avoid ascending blockage.)
Baitong Tang: Treats Shaoyin syndrome presenting only with diarrhea, internal cold and Yin excess, using this to unblock Yang and overcome Yin. Ingredients: Congbai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus) [4 stalks], Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum) [1 liang], Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix) [one piece raw, peeled, umbilicus removed]. Preparation: Decoct three ingredients in three sheng of water to obtain one sheng. Strain, divide into two warm doses.
Baitong Jia Zhudanchi Tang: Treats Shaoyin diarrhea with faint pulse. After taking Baitong Tang, if diarrhea persists, cold limbs, no pulse, dry retching, and irritability occur, use this. Pig Gallbladder Bile (Suis Vesica Bile) acts as a guide. If pulse suddenly emerges after ingestion, death ensues; if pulse slowly continues, life is preserved. Ingredients: Congbai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus) [4 stalks], Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum) [1 liang], Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix) [one piece raw, peeled, broken into 8 pieces], Ren Niao (Human Urine) [5 he], Zhudan (Pig Gallbladder Bile) [1 he]. Preparation: Decoct three main ingredients in three sheng of water to obtain one sheng. Strain, add bile and urine, mix well, divide into two warm doses. If no bile, human urine alone suffices.
Fuzi Tang: Treats Shaoyin syndrome on day 1-2 with neutral mouth sensation, aversion to cold on back, a syndrome of Yang deficiency. Use after moxa. Also treats Shaoyin body pain, cold hands/feet, deep pulse, a syndrome of Yang deficiency. Ingredients: Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix) [two pieces peeled, broken into 8 pieces], Fuling (Poria) [2 liang], Renshen (Ginseng Radix) [2 liang], Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) [4 liang], Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) [3 liang]. Preparation: Decoct five ingredients in eight sheng of water to obtain three sheng. Strain, take 1 sheng warm, three times daily.
Mahuang Fuzi Gancao Tang: Treats Shanghan in Shaoyin channel, days 2-3 without interior syndrome. Use this to warm channels and induce slight sweating. Jingui Yaolue uses it for Shaoyin water disease with shortness of breath, deep weak pulse, distension; sweating resolves it. If Shaoyin has exterior syndrome with fever but no interior syndrome, remove Gancao, add Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), named Mahuang Fuzi Xixin Tang. Both are exterior methods for Shaoyin.
The above fourteen formulas cite Zhang Zhongjing's Shanghan treatments.
Baizhu Fuzi Tang: Jingui Yaolue treats Wind-Dampness binding with body pain, inability to turn, floating void and choppy pulse, using Guizhi Fuzi Tang. If stool is hard and urination is free, use this formula. Ingredients: Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) [2 liang], Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) [one and a half pieces prepared, peeled], Zhigancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Melle) [honey-fried 1 liang], Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) [1.5 liang sliced], Dazao (Zizyphi Fructus) [6 pieces split]. Preparation: Decoct five ingredients in three sheng of water to obtain one sheng. Strain, divide into three warm doses. After first dose, if body feels numb, take second dose after half a day. After all three doses, feeling like being stunned is normal; this is Baizhu and Fuzi moving in the skin, expelling water qi, not yet fully expelled.
Also, Jin Xiao Fang Shufu Tang treats wind-deficiency with heavy dizzy head, extreme distress, loss of taste, using this to warm muscles, tonify middle, benefit essence and Qi.
Guizhi Tang Remove Shaoyao Plus Mahuang-Xixin-Fuzi Tang: Treats Qi-level epigastric hardness, large as a plate, rim like an inverted cup, caused by fluid retention. Ingredients: Guizhi (Cinnamomi Ramulus) [3 liang], Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) [3 liang], Zhigancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Melle) [honey-fried 2 liang], Dazao (Zizyphi Fructus) [12 pieces], Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba) [2 liang], Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) [2 liang], Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) [one piece prepared]. Preparation: Decoct seven ingredients in seven sheng of water, boil Mahuang to remove foam, add other herbs, decoct to obtain two sheng. Divide into three warm doses. Cure when sweat appears like insects crawling under skin.
Jingui Yaolue discusses water qi disease, inch-pulse slow and choppy, termed Qi Fen, profound meaning clarified previously. Now observing this syndrome, Qi-level water knots in epigastrium, hard/large as plate, internal water binds with external wind, no time for resolution. Ying-Wei Qi cannot circulate freely. Da Qi in Danzhong cannot transform openly. Qi moves only around edges, like an inverted cup, bitter and dangerous! This formula removes Shaoyao's sour-astringency from Guizhi Tang and combines with Mahuang-Fuzi-Xixin Tang's warm-dispersing nature, clearly aiming to release Shaoyin cold-water and bound external wind via sweat, resolving interior/exterior completely. Hence "cure when sweat appears like insects crawling." For non-Shaoyin cold-water or non-bound external wind cases, it is likely excessive water retention in Stomach knotting in epigastrium, treatable with Zhishi and Baizhu alone. When abdomen softens, it disperses. Though Jingui doesn't explicitly state, Qi-level water treatment does not exceed these Yin-Yang methods, hence repeated explanation here.
Cui Shi Ba Wei Wan: Treats Hongjiao (Beriberi/Lower limb swelling) ascending, insensitivity in lower abdomen. Also treats deficiency-wasting lower back pain, lower abdominal urgency, difficulty urinating. Also treats shortness of breath with slight fluid retention, guiding out via urination. Ingredients: Sheng Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix) [8 liang], Shanzhuyu (Corni Fructus), Shuyu (Dioscoreae Rhizoma) [each 4 liang], Zexie (Alismatis Rhizoma), Fuling (Poria), Mudanpi (Moutan Cortex) [each 3 liang], Guizhi (Cinnamomi Ramulus), Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) [each 1 liang prepared]. Preparation: Powder eight ingredients, mix with refined honey into pills size of Wuzi. Take 15 pills with wine, twice daily.
Jingui Yaolue uses Cui Shi Ba Wei Wan for Hongjiao ascending, lower abdominal insensitivity. Hongjiao is Yin Qi; insensitivity indicates progression to attacking Heart, so used to expel Yin evil. For deficiency-wasting lower back pain, lower abdominal urgency, difficulty urination, caused by overworking Kidney, Yin Qi reversing to lower abdomen blocking Bladder Qi transformation, thus used to secure Kidney Qi. For shortness of breath with slight fluid retention, fluid is Yin type, blocking empty Yang in chest causing shortness of breath, thus used to guide fluid down to calm chest. For Xiao Ke (Wasting-Thirst) drinking one dou, urinating one dou, why use it? Not only can Kidney Qi not control water, leaking excessively, source faces exhaustion, so urgently use it to reverse water flow, preventing downward trend. Kidney water descending causes Xiao, Kidney Qi failing to ascend causes Ke; how else to treat? Later generations called Ba Wei Wan the holy medicine for Xiao Ke, grasping its essence. However, modern usage treats it as a generic kidney-tonifying pill for strengthening water and benefiting fire, indiscriminately applied regardless of urination status or thirst, missing Jingui's deeper meaning.
Gualou Qumai Wan: Treats difficulty urinating with fluid retention and thirst. Ingredients: Gualougen (Trichosanthis Radix) [2 liang], Fuling (Poria) [3 liang], Shuyu (Dioscoreae Rhizoma) [3 liang], Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) [one piece prepared], Qumai (Dianthi Herba) [1 liang]. Preparation: Powder five ingredients, mix with refined honey into pills size of Wuzi. Take 3 pills with water, three times daily. If ineffective, increase to 7-8 pills. Efficacy indicated by free urination and warm abdomen.
Jingui Yaolue uses this for difficulty urinating with strangury and thirst. Stomach has heat, abdomen has cold, thus modifying Ba Wei Wan. Rapid Duyang pulse indicates Stomach heat. Stomach heat consumes food, causes hard stool, frequent urination; strangury and thirst indicate Stomach heat consuming middle. Gualou clears Stomach heat, Fuling/Qumai promote urination. However, Kidney cold-water Qi entering abdomen causes cold abdomen, so Fuzi overcomes cold. Formula note: efficacy indicated by free urination and warm abdomen, revealing formulation logic.

Preparation: Powder six ingredients, honey pills size of tung seeds. Take with wine, strong persons start with 3 pills, three times daily; weak persons 2 pills.
Fuzi Jingmi Tang: Jingui Yaolue treats abdominal cold qi, borborygmus cutting pain, chest/hypochondriac fullness/reversal, vomiting. Ingredients: Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) [one piece prepared], Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma) [half sheng], Zhigancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Melle) [1 liang], Dazao (Zizyphi Fructus) [10 pieces], Jingmi (Oryzae Semen Germine) [half sheng]. Preparation: Five ingredients in eight sheng of water, cook rice until soup is ready. Strain, take 1 sheng warm, three times daily.
