Twenty-three Methods
Place salt in the center of the navel (Shenque, CV8) and moxibustion with three cones.
For five types of strangury (Lin syndrome) resulting in inability to urinate, moxibustion on Xuanquan (a synonym for Zhongfeng, SP4, located one cun anterior to the medial malleolus, between the oblique small vessels) with fourteen cones.
For the five types of strangury, moxibustion on Dazhuan (LR1) with thirty cones.
For Qi-strangury, moxibustion on Guanyuan (CV4) with fifty cones.
Additionally, at a location one and a half cun lateral to Yuquan (CV5), moxibustion with thirty cones.
For Lao-strangury (fatigue-related strangury), moxibustion on the Foot-Taiyin channel (likely referring to Fuliu, KI7 or similar based on location description "three cun above medial malleolus") with one hundred cones, divided into three sessions.
For Shi-strangury (stone strangury) and thirty-six types of diseases below the navel causing urinary retention, moxibustion on Guanyuan (CV4) with thirty cones (another source says one hundred cones).
For Xue-strangury (blood strangury), moxibustion on Dantian (CV11 or general lower abdomen area) with a number of cones corresponding to the patient's age.
For Xue-strangury, moxibustion on Fuliou (CV2? Note: Fuliou is not a standard CV point name, likely a specific local point or typo for another point like Qihai/CV6 or Shimen/CV5, but translated literally as Fuliou) with fifty cones.
For acute strangury, moxibustion on the tip of the lateral malleolus with seven cones.
For urinary incontinence where urine flows involuntarily without sensation, needle Yinlingquan (SP9) to a depth of five fen, and moxibustion with a number of cones corresponding to the patient's age.
For pain in the urethra, moxibustion on Xingjian (LR2) with thirty cones.
At the end of the flexed bone (likely referring to points around the knee such as Dubi or similar), which governs abdominal fullness and frequent urination, moxibustion with fourteen cones. For children, adjust the dosage according to their condition.
For inability to urinate, moxibustion on Taichong (LR3) with fifty cones.
Method for treating urinary incontinence:
Moxibustion on Dazhuan (LR1) with seven cones.
Additionally, moxibustion on Xingjian (LR2) with seven cones.
For pediatric enuresis, moxibustion one and a half cun below the umbilicus with a number of cones corresponding to the child's age. Additionally, one cone on Dazhuan (LR1).
Method for treating bedwetting:
Hang both hands down on the thighs; at the depression at the tips of all fingers, moxibustion with seven cones.
Additionally, moxibustion on the transverse crease below the umbilicus with seven cones.
For enuresis, needle Yidao (an extra point located five cun lateral to Yuquan, CV5) to a depth of two cun using the tonification method, and moxibustion with a number of cones corresponding to the patient's age.
Additionally, moxibustion on Yinlingquan (SP9) with a number of cones corresponding to the patient's age.
Additionally, moxibustion on the Yangming channel (likely Stomach channel points) with a number of cones corresponding to the patient's age, needle to a depth of three fen.
