[Discussion] The condition known as "blood accumulation and qi pain" refers to pain caused by the long-term accumulation of evil blood (stagnant blood). Its manifestations include dull, lingering pain, or masses that attack and pound, varying in aggregation and dispersion, and located either deeply or superficially. Generally, when qi flows smoothly, blood circulates; when qi is stagnant, blood becomes obstructed. Conditions such as amenorrhea, incomplete expulsion of lochia after childbirth, or other diseases causing blood stasis can all lead to qi-blood stagnation. Blood gathers due to qi constraint, condensing into accumulations. If these accumulations persist for a long time without resolving, they result in qi pain.

To treat women with blood qi disorders and blood accumulations, characterized by hard nodules, blood masses (xue jia), paroxysmal stabbing pain, vomiting and regurgitation, dysphagia, mental confusion, abdominal distension due to blood gu, and amenorrhea, use Myrrh Pill Formula (Moyao Wan):
Myrrha (Myrrh) (1 liang, ground); Yuanhua (Genkwa Flos) (1 liang, decocted with 3 sheng of rice vinegar until reduced to 1.5 sheng, filtered to remove dregs; retain the vinegar, pour into a stone vessel, add Sanduang [a mineral drug, likely containing realgar or similar arsenic sulfide compound] equivalent to the size of one cardamom seed, stir-fried with glutinous rice until yellow)... [Note: Original text implies ten ingredients total, but lists are fragmented]. Combine seven of the ten ingredients into powder. Separate grind Banzhao (Mylabris) and Myrrha evenly, mix into the previously prepared paste, and pound/beat for thousands of strokes. Form pills the size of Sophora seeds (Wutongzi). Initial dose: 3 pills. Take with scallion white (Xiebai) stir-fried with vinegar until charred black, soaked in wine, boiled briefly, and swallowed. Gradually increase to 5-7 pills. For acute attacks of blood qi attacking heart and spleen, boil 1 cup of wine and vinegar together and swallow. For hard blood masses attacking the heart causing pain and fainting, refractory to long-term treatment, add Yuyuliang (Hematitum) (1 liang), quenched in vinegar over fire seven times, ground to powder, and mixed into pills. Dose: 5 pills per serving. Additionally, take Sumu (Sappan Lignum) branch nodes (2 liang, chopped), decocted in 3 sheng of wine until reduced to 0.7 sheng, filtered, divided into three doses. Each dose taken with 3 pills. After completing three courses, the blood mass will be expelled through the large and small intestines.

For chronic blood qi accumulation in women, forming hard masses with unbearable stabbing pain, vomiting, inability to eat, sallow complexion, and lethargy, use Shadan Pill Formula (Shadan Wan):
Shadan (Realgar) (free of stones), Myrrha, Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) (sliced and dried), Yuanhua (decocted in vinegar and stir-fried until slightly charred, each 1 fen), Ezhu (Curcumae Rhizoma) (processed, 0.5 liang), Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix)... [Text fragmentary]. Process seven ingredients: first grind Shadan, Badou (Crotonis Fructus), and Myrrha into powder. Decoct with 3 sheng rice vinegar into a thin paste. Grind the remaining four ingredients into fine powder, mix into the paste, form a cohesive mass, and store in a porcelain jar. Form pills the size of Sophora seeds.
