Tuoli Wenzhong Tang (Support Interior and Warm Middle Decoction): Treats carbuncles and sores where Yang is weak and Yin Cold is prevalent, with a deficient pulse and cold body; or where the sore undergoes cold transformation, resulting in no pain; or where pus and fluid are clear and thin, epigastric fullness and stuffiness, borborygmus and abdominal pain, slightly loose stools, shortness of breath and nausea/vomiting after eating, inability to lie down peacefully, and occasional fainting or confusion. Take this formula.
Ingredients: Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu), Poria (Fuling), Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum (Muxiang), Eugeniae Caryophyllati Flos (Dingxiang) (each 0.5 qian); Pinelliae Rhizoma Preparatum (Banxia), Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chenpi), Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo), Alpiniae Oxyphyllae Fructus (Yizhiren), Zingiberis Rhizoma (Ganjiang, prepared), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen), Amomi Fructus Rotundus (Baidoukou), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) (each 1 qian), Aconiti Radix (Da Fuzi) (2 qian).
Usage: Two bowls of water, three slices of ginger, one jujube, decocted until eight-tenths remains. Take at any time. This formula differs from old ones. I formulated this to treat Yin syndromes of carbuncles and sores, and miscellaneous diseases where Yang Qi collapses or Cold forces Yang outward, causing fever, restlessness, dry mouth, and thirst. Administering Ginger and Aconite types causes fluids to generate instantly and fever/restlessness to recede instantly, with rapid response.
Shengyu Tang (Sage Renewal Decoction): Treats ulcers where excessive discharge of pus and fluid leads to extreme deficiency of Qi and Blood, a fine, empty, and powerless pulse, resulting in mental restlessness, unsettled sleep, or five-center heat and restlessness. Take together.
Ingredients: Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata (Shudi), Rehmanniae Radix (Shengdi), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen) (each 0.5 qian); Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Guishen), Astragali Membranacei Radix (Huangqi) (salt-water fried, each 1 qian).
Usage: One dose, two tea bowls of water, decocted until eight-tenths remains. Take after meals.
Bao'an Dacheng Tang (Guard and Prosper Great Success Decoction): Treats ulcer patients with constitutionally deficient Yuan Qi, weak spirit, or excessive discharge of pus and fluid, causing the spirit to have no master, leading to drowsy and lethargic sleep, fine and weak six pulses, cold feet and cool body, loose or constipated stools, chest and diaphragm either comfortable or uncomfortable, tongue moist but lacking fluids, mouth tasting food without flavor, sore edges tense but not tight, flesh slightly red, all indicating insufficiency requiring strong tonification.
Ingredients: Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen), Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu), Astragali Membranacei Radix (Huangqi) (honey-water mixed and fried, each 2 qian); Poria (Fuling), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao), Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chenpi), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Guishen), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao), Aconiti Radix (Da Fuzi), Corni Fructus (Shanyurou), Schisandrae Fructus (Wuweizi) (each 1 qian); Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum (Muxiang), Amomi Fructus (Sharen) (each 0.5 qian).
Usage: Two bowls of water, three slices of prepared ginger, three peeled large jujubes, decocted until eight-tenths remains. Take after meals. Continue until spirit returns, hands and feet warm, spleen and stomach awaken, and flesh color becomes red. The above symptoms indicate Yuan Qi collapse and impending deterioration; only this formula can reverse it.
Dushen Tang (Single Ginseng Decoction): Treats ulcer patients with excessive discharge of pus and fluid, extreme deficiency of Qi and Blood, or aversion to cold, fever, spontaneous sweating or cold sweat, cyanotic and cold fingernails/toes, cold body and fine pulse. All are suitable.
Ingredients: Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen) (2 liang, sliced).
Usage: One dose, two bowls of water, ten jujubes, decocted until one bowl remains. Take slowly. If decocted to thick consistency, it becomes an extract. Divide into three doses. Dissolve in good warm wine. Alternatively, dissolve in warm wine.

Usage: Three slices of ginger, two jujubes, two bowls of water, decocted until eight-tenths remains. Take after meals.
Qingzhen Tang (Clear Shake Decoction): Treats ulcer patients with Spleen and Stomach weakness, or accidental injury from raw/cold foods, or emotional anger and overwork, or sexual activity with nocturnal emissions, causing Fire Evil to invade the Zhongwan region, resulting in hiccups. Take urgently.

Usage: Three slices of ginger, two jujubes, twenty stalks of Juncus Arrethusus (Dengxincao), two bowls of water, decocted until eight-tenths remains. Take at any time. If accompanied by fever, dry mouth, dry stool, and Fire-type hiccups, add Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian) 0.5 fen.
Xingpi Yiwei Tang (Awaken Spleen Benefit Stomach Decoction): Treats ulcer patients with Spleen and Stomach weakness, excessive injury from diet/raw-cold foods, leading to chest/diaphragm discomfort, edema of limbs/face, and difficult urination. All are suitable.

Usage: Two bowls of water, three slices of ginger, twenty stalks of Juncus Arrethusus (Dengxincao), decocted until eight-tenths remains. Take before meals.
Tuoli Dingtong San (Support Interior Stop Pain Powder): Treats post-ulceration pain unbearable due to Blood deficiency. Suitable for taking, very effective.
Ingredients: Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Guishen), Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata (Shudi), Boswelliae Resina (Ruxiang), Myrrha Resina (Moyao), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao), Cinnamomi Cortex (Rougui) (each 1 qian); Papaveris Capsula (Suke, soaked to remove membrane, honey-fried, 2 qian).
Usage: Two bowls of water, decocted until eight-tenths remains. Take before or after meals depending on whether the disease is upper or lower.
Shenying Yigong San (Divine Response Extraordinary Skill Powder): Treats ulcer patients with Yin excess and Yang deficiency, fever and thirst, cold hands and feet, deficient and powerless pulse, spontaneous loose stools, even drinking boiling water without feeling heat. Must take.
Ingredients: Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum (Muxiang), Cinnamomi Ramulus (Guangui), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen), Poria (Fuling), Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chenpi), Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu) (each 1 qian); Pinelliae Rhizoma Preparatum (Banxia), Eugeniae Caryophyllati Flos (Dingxiang), Myristicae Semen (Roudoukou), Aconiti Radix (Da Fuzi), Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex (N Houpo) (each 0.5 qian).
Usage: Two bowls of water, five slices of ginger, three jujubes, decocted until eight-tenths remains. Take at any time. This formula treats Yin syndromes of carbuncles/sores and miscellaneous diseases where Yang Qi collapses or Cold forces Yang outward, causing fever, restlessness, dry mouth/thirst. Administering Ginger, Cinnamon, Aconite types causes instant fluid generation and fever receding, with rapid response. People simply fail to study it.
Shenzhu Gao (Ginseng-Atractylodes Extract): Treats carbuncles/back abscesses etc., after large pus discharge, where Qi and Blood are greatly deficient. Urgently use this.
Ingredients: Top-grade Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen) half jin (sliced, boiled in five big bowls of water in a clay pot over slow fire until three bowls remain; residue boiled again for one bowl; combined, filtered through fine silk, then boiled to thick consistency, stored in porcelain bowls); Yunpian Atractylodis Rhizoma (Baizhu) six liang; Huaiqing Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata (Shudi) six liang (all boiled using the same method).
After finishing the three extracts, store each in porcelain bowls, plunge into water to cool, remove, cover tightly to prevent air leakage. If patient has short spirit, laziness in speech/movement, shortness of breath, spontaneous sweating: take 3 spoons Renshen Gao, 2 spoons Baizhu Gao, 1 spoon Dihuang Gao, dissolved in one cup of pure good wine, heated. If Spleen Qi weak, reduced diet, tasteless food, indigestion: take 3 spoons Baizhu Gao, 2 spoons Renshen Gao, 1 spoon Dihuang Gao, dissolved in good hot wine. If patient has sore waist/knees, weak legs/feet, rough/dry skin/hands/feet: take 3 spoons Dihuang Gao, 2 spoons each Renshen and Baizhu Gao, dissolved. If Qi/Blood/Spleen/Stomach are balanced without bias: take 2 spoons of each extract, dissolved in hot wine. Take this extract once in early morning and once before bed. Naturally strengthens spirit, generates Qi/Blood instantly, promotes new flesh growth, heals sores easily. Regardless of dangerous sores with large pus, guarantees no complications. In summer heat, extracts may spoil; dividing into two batches is fine. Taking after recovery turns hair black, reverses aging. Above formulas cannot match this.
Baxian Gao (Eight Immortals Cake): Treats carbuncles/sores with Spleen/Stomach weakness, short spirit, tasteless food, no hunger after eating, and chronic illness in healthy people with Spleen deficiency causing low appetite, vomiting, diarrhea. Excellent.
Ingredients: Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen), Dioscoreae Rhizoma (Shanyao), Poria (Fuling), Euryales Semen (Qianshi), Nelumbinis Plumula (Lianrou) (each 6 liang); Glutinous Oryzae Sativi Fructus (Nuomi) 3 sheng; Non-glutinous Oryzae Sativi Fructus (Jingmi) 7 sheng; White Sugar Frost (Baitangshuang) 2.5 jin; White Honey (Baimi) 1 jin.
Usage: Grind the five herbs into fine powder. Grind glutinous and non-glutinous rice into powder. Mix with herb powder. Melt sugar and honey in soup. Mix powder while hot. Spread in steamer, cut into strip cakes, steam, dry on fire. Store in porcelain. Every morning, soak several strips in white water, or eat dry. Whenever hungry, use several strips conveniently. Take for 100 days: lightens body, prolongs life, strengthens Yuan Yang, nourishes Spleen/Stomach. Effects beyond description.
Weiai Wan (Stomach Love Pill): Treats ulcer patients with Spleen/Stomach weakness, dislike for all food tastes, where appetite-stimulating drugs failed. This indicates Spleen collapse. Suitable to take. Increased eating is auspicious.
Ingredients: Yunpian Atractylodis Rhizoma (Baizhu) 1 liang (fresh white, soaked in rice wash water, remove astringent water, slice, dry, stir-fry with Hordei Fructus Germinatus (Maiya)); Huaiqing Dioscoreae Rhizoma (Shanyao) 1 liang (large, white, slice, mix with male milk until moist, dry, slight roast); Top-grade Poria (Fuling) 1 liang (slice thickly, mix with Amomi Fructus (Sharen) 2 qian, steam in bowl over rice, use only Fuling); Qinghe Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen) 1 liang (processed, dried, grind fine); Amomi Fructus Rotundus (Baidoukou) 3 qian; Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chenpi) 6 qian (stir-fry old rice yellow first, then fry together, dry not burnt); Nelumbinis Plumula (Lianrou) 5 qian (remove skin/heart, slice); Small Perilla (Xiao Zisu) 5 qian (mix with honey, dry, slight steam, slice with stem/leaf); Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) 3 qian (roasted).

Usage: Soak 49 jujubes and 4 liang sliced old ginger in water. Boil until water is dry. Take jujube flesh, form pills like wu-tong seeds. Take 70 pills per dose, send down with clear rice soup on empty stomach. Also treats ordinary Kidney deficiency and Spleen diarrhea effectively.
Jiajian Bawei Wan (Modified Eight Flavor Pill): Treats carbuncle/jaundice before/after onset, dry mouth/thirst, dry yellow hard tongue. Suitable to take.
Ingredients: Poria (Fuling), Dioscoreae Rhizoma (Shanyao), Moutan Cortex (Danpi) (each 4 liang); Corni Fructus (Shanyurou) 5 liang; Alismatis Rhizoma (Zexie) 3 liang (steamed); Schisandrae Fructus (Wuweizi) 3 liang (fried); Cinnamomi Ramulus (Rougui) 6 qian; Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata (Shudi) 8 liang (mashed to paste, wine-boiled).
Usage: Grind all to powder. Refine honey, form pills like wu-tong seeds. Take 2 qian per dose, on empty stomach, send down with salt water. Ordinary wine administration is also fine. This is a draining-dampness and moistening-dryness formula.
Hongqian Zaohua Dan (Red Lead Creation Pill): Treats carbuncles/sores with insufficient Yuan Qi, soft depression not rising, or already erupted but invaded by Wind-Cold internally/externally, causing toxin sinking into Yin collapse without pain. Urgently take this. Can transform Yin to Yang, return toxins, re-swelling is auspicious.
Ingredients: Hongqian (Red Lead) 3 qian; Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen), Poria (Fuling), Dioscoreae Rhizoma (Shanyao) (each 1 liang); Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, roasted), Alum (Kufan) (each 5 qian); Cinnabaris (Chensha), Hanshi Mian (Cold Food Flour) (each 7.5 qian); Moschus (Shexiang) 0.8 fen; Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian) 0.6 fen; Boswelliae Resina (Ruxiang) 2 qian (use first-born male milk, one small cup per tray, dry, collect together).
Usage: Grind each finely. Combine and grind again. Use 2 liang white honey, plus one large cup first-born male milk. Slow fire double-boil in porcelain bowl until honey drops do not disperse in water. When slightly warm, mix with previous herbs. Adjust hardness/softness. Form pills like longan seeds. Coat with gold foil. Store in porcelain jar. Wax sealing is also good. Take one pill per dose, dissolve in one cup good hot wine. Take after meals. Cover with thick cotton cloth to keep warm. Affectionate area feels hot like steaming, sore must rise and hurt. This is the pill's effect. For vomiting, palpitations, dysentery, unresponsive to many drugs, strange symptoms, all effective. Generally: Heart meridian diseases use Acorus Tatarinowii Rhizoma (Shichangpu); Liver meridian diseases use Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi); Spleen meridian diseases use Zingiberis Rhizoma (Shengjiang); Lung meridian diseases use Ophiopogonis Radix (Mendong); Kidney meridian diseases use Schisandrae Fructus (Wuweizi). Follow Five Meridian symptoms, use Five Guides decoction to dissolve/take. Response is rapid. Best to compound on Dragon Boat Festival Tianyi Auspicious Day.
The above twenty-four formulas treat carbuncles/sores from ulceration to convergence, covering correct diseases, miscellaneous diseases, changed syndromes, and deteriorated syndromes. Select carefully to avoid confusion and ensure final safety. Not following this method, inventing other theories, or using secret miraculous methods will lead to complications. Post-ulceration, Qi and Blood roots are invariably damaged. Tonifying weakness, supporting emaciation, managing consumption, repairing damage all fall within these preceding formulas. There is no other method outside.
