Take one jin of white flour. Additionally, prepare half a jin of flour into a thick paste. Roll this paste into two thin sheets. Wrap the aforementioned herbs in the middle with these sheets, sealing the edges tightly. On the day of Qingming Festival, steam them until cooked thoroughly. Hang them in a ventilated place to dry in the shade, and store them wrapped in bread... The longer they are stored, the more effective they become.
For the various herbs in the aforementioned formulas, processing methods were not previously specified; they are listed below. All medicinal materials must follow the processing standards of *Lei Gong Pao Zhi Lun* (The Canon of Processing by Lei Gong) to ensure efficacy. If unprocessed raw herbs are directly decocted and taken, they will not cure diseases but may cause harm. It is like eating food without cooking it; raw consumption would surely damage the body. This should be carefully considered.
