解毒紫金丹(见疔疮门)
Nai Xuan (Infant Eczema), when the infant is in the womb, if the mother consumes pungent and spicy foods (Wu Xin) and the father eats fried or roasted foods, heat pathogens are transmitted to the child. After birth, Nai Xuan appears on the head, face, and entire body, oozing serous fluid in patches, causing restless sleep and incessant itching. Treat with Wen Ge San (Clam Shell Powder), or Jie Du Xiong Huang San (Antidote Realgar Powder); for severe cases, Cui Yun San (Emerald Cloud Powder) is effective.
Wen Ge San
Wen Ge San uses Dian Hong Chuan Jiao (Point-Red Sichuan Pepper), both ingredients stir-fried until scorched,
then mixed with Qing Fen (Calomel) and Xiang You (Sesame Oil); infant Nai Xuan disappears instantly.
Ingredients: Wen Ge (Clam Shell, *Concha Meretricis*) (4 liang), Dian Hong Chuan Jiao (2 liang), Qing Fen (0.5 qian).
First, crush Wen Ge into fine pieces, stir-fry in a pot until yellow, then add Chuan Jiao and continue frying until black smoke rises. Seal in a jar to preserve its medicinal nature. The next day, add Qing Fen, grind into a fine powder, and store in a jar. Mix with sesame oil and apply topically; it is advisable for the nursing mother to observe dietary restrictions.
Jie Du Xiong Huang San (See section on Blood Wind Sores)
Cui Yun San (Mix with Qing Gang Zhi [Indigo Dye Juice] and apply topically; See section on Yang Mei Chuang)
Gong Tou (Congenital Nasal Glanders), commonly known as "pig nose." Mild cases stem from deep-seated congenital factors, caused by toxic accumulation in paternal essence and maternal blood. Acquired infections after birth occur only once. The lesion swells high; upon rupture, it swells again because the original membrane enclosing the toxin remains intact despite toxin expulsion, leading to recurrence after healing. When swelling is severe and pus is mature, puncture with a needle, insert San Pin Yi Tiao Qiang (Three-Grade Single-Barrel Gun), and dissolve the inner membrane for self-healing. In cases where there is no swelling but the wound fails to close, wind pathogens have invaded the sore. Apply Bai Tong San (Rotten Copper Powder) and observe dietary restrictions for self-healing.
Bai Tong San
Why is Bai Tong San effective? Because copper, tin, and lead are processed together,
its hot nature can absorb dampness and moisture; once dry, fluids do not return.
Indication: Gong Tou that has ruptured with persistent discharge, recurring after healing, and failing to close over time.
Grind old melted-copper pots into powder, clean the affected area, mix with sesame oil, and apply. Observe dietary restrictions.
San Pin Yi Tiao Qiang (See section on Hemorrhoidal Toxins)
Yi Du (Residual Toxin) is contracted in the womb due to residual toxins from parents' Yang Mei Chuang (Syphilis/Kaposi's Sarcoma-like sores) remaining in the essence and blood during conception. After birth, exposure to hot water bathing or heated/smoked clothing triggers external heat, activating internal toxins on the skin surface. Red spots appear first, followed by ulcerated plaques. Severe cases involve rotting of the skin around the mouth corners, anus, eye sockets, nose, and face, interfering with breastfeeding and causing restlessness and crying. Early treatment is crucial. Internally, administer Tu Fu Ling Tang (Smilax Decoction) mixed with Ren Zhong Huang powder (Human Waste Bamboo Tube Preparation), several times daily, 4-5 fen each time. Externally, apply Jie Du Zi Jin Dan (Antidote Purple Gold Pill) ground and smeared on the sore. Effective cases may see 30-40% recovery. Delayed treatment resulting in severe toxicity, widespread ulcers, and inability to nurse has a mortality rate of nearly 100%, due to deep-rooted congenital infection.
Ren Zhong Huang treats various pediatric congenital toxins, smallpox/rash conditions with inward collapse, dry cracked lips, wind-heat rashes, and Chi You Dan Du (Roaming Carbuncle). It also treats adult Shang Han (Cold Damage) yang-pattern mania, severe sores with toxin entering the interior, dry mouth/throat, irritability, thirst, confusion, and poisoning from arsenic, herbs, or pufferfish, as well as various acute conditions, proving universally effective. Take a segment of bamboo with nodes at both ends, drill a small hole in one end, fill with finely ground Gan Cao (Licorice Root, *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*), seal tightly with a wooden plug, bind with bricks, and submerge in a large human waste pit for six months. Retrieve, soak in running water for one day, air-dry with the bamboo, and store in a porcelain jar. Adults take 2 qian per dose; children take 3-4 fen per dose, mixed with cool water. For pediatric congenital toxin ulcers, mix with Tu Fu Ling Tang; for common febrile diseases, mix with appropriate herbal medicine for immediate effect.
Zhen Jun Miao Tie San (See section on Swollen Ulcers)
Treats pediatric congenital toxins with rotting flesh, pain, and restlessness; applying this paste yields immediate results.
