Ci Feng (Stabbing Wind) is caused by individuals with weak constitutions, whose skin pores are open and loose, allowing wind pathogenic factors to invade. The wind pathogen wanders throughout the body, causing turbid itching lesions on the skin, where pathogenic qi contends with healthy qi. For treating severe wind conditions, characterized by sensations in the skin and muscles of the whole body as if being stabbed by needles, and mental confusion or cloudiness, Da Ma Ren San (Hemp Seed Powder) is suitable.
Da Ma Ren (Cannabis Fructus, 3 liang), Fang Feng (Saposhnikoviae Radix, 1 liang, remove radicle), Ma Huang (Ephedrae Herba, 2 liang, remove root joints), Chen Ju Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, 1 liang, soak in hot water, remove white pith, bake), Gui Xin (Cinnamomi Cortex, 1 liang), Cang Er Zi (Xanthii Fructus, 1 liang, stir-fry to remove spines).
The above herbs are coarsely ground and sifted into a powder. Take 4 qian per dose, add 1 zhong of water and 0.5 ban of fresh ginger, decoct until 0.6 zhong remains, filter out the dregs, and take warm at any time.
For treating weak constitution invaded by wind pathogen, which attacks the skin with sensations like needle pricks, numbness of the four limbs, and spasmodic stiffness of tendons and vessels, Yi Yi Ren San (Coix Seed Powder) is suitable.
Yi Yi Ren (Coicis Semen, 2 liang), Du Huo (Angelicae Pubescentis Radix, 1 liang), Yin Yu (Ilicis Cornuti Caulis, 1 liang), Xi Xin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma, 1 liang), Gui Xin (Cinnamomi Cortex, 1 liang), Ce Zi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata, 1 liang, processed, remove peel and umbilicus), Ling Yang Jiao (Saigae Tataricae Cornu, 1 liang).

For treating Ci Feng (Stabbing Wind) with stubborn bi-syndrome (numbness and pain) of the skin, Qiang Huo San (Notopterygii Rhizomatis et Radix Powder) is suitable.
Qiang Huo (Notopterygii Rhizomatis et Radix, 1 liang), Bai Ji Li (Tribuli Fructus, 1 liang, lightly stir-fry to remove spines), Bai Xian Pi (Dictamni Cortex, 1 liang), Feng Xiang (Liquidambaris Resina, 3 fen), Wu She Rou (Bungarus multicinctus flesh, 1 liang, soaked in wine and roasted until crisp), Tian Nan Xing (Arisaematis Rhizoma Praeparatum, 1 liang, processed, remove peel and umbilicus), She Xiang (Moscus, 1 fen, finely ground).
