Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, two liang) Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma, three liang) Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata, one piece, raw) Zhudanshi (Porci Bile, half he)
The above three ingredients are cut into small pieces. For each dose, take five qian. Add three zhan of water, boil until reduced to two zhan, strain out the dregs, add Porci Bile, and divide into two doses to be taken warm. The pulse will then return.
Treats disharmony of cold and heat in the Zang-Fu organs due to irregular diet. This may result from excessive consumption of fishy or raw/cold foods; irregular daily routine; sleeping exposed on damp ground; or seeking coolness while facing the wind, causing Wind-Cold Qi to gather in the Sanjiao (Triple Burner), transmit to the Spleen and Stomach, chill the Spleen and Stomach, impair digestion of food and fluids, leading to conflict between True Qi and Pathogenic factors, and weakness of the intestines and stomach. Dietary chaos within the intestines and stomach causes vomiting and diarrhea, heart and abdominal pain, and rebellious Qi in Huoluan. Some present with heart pain preceding vomiting; some with abdominal pain preceding diarrhea; some with simultaneous vomiting and diarrhea; some with fever, headache, body ache, followed by vomiting, diarrhea, deficiency, and vexation; some with only vomiting and diarrhea and stabbing pain in the heart and abdomen; some with muscle twitching, stiffness, cramping, and pain; some with only retching without expulsion of matter; some with coldness of the hands and feet and a faint pulse nearly imperceptible; some with oppression, confusion, and a sensation of impending death. For pregnant women suffering from Huoluan with vomiting and diarrhea, this formula is applicable to all such cases.
Xiangruye (Elsholtziae Herba, four liang) Baibiandou (Phaseoli Semen Album) Houpo (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex, each two liang)

Taking two or three doses consecutively yields immediate miraculous effects. In *Su Shen Liang Fang*, it is named Xiangrong San. It is identical to *Bai Wen* but contains Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma) instead of Baibiandou.
