女金丹，一名胜金丹。又名保坤丸。又名济阴丹。
金华香附（一斤，拣净，童便浸十日足，清水淘净晒干，砂锅炒黄） 桂心五钱 当归身 白芍
药白薇 白茯苓 白芷 丹皮 人参 甘草 玄胡索 川芎 本 白术 没药 赤石脂
（火 醋淬七次，后二味不酒浸）。
以上各一两，用老酒拌，闷一刻，晒干。同前香附为细末，炼蜜为丸，每丸重二钱，朱砂为衣，照引服。
妇人临产，清水汤调服一丸，助精神，壮气力，分娩自然顺利。难产用二丸，即产下。童便好酒调服一
丸，神清体健，无血崩之患。每日服一丸，过五日或十余日，气血完
固，自无他病。血崩者，童便和滚水调服一丸，用至二三丸即止。
血晕者，川芎当归煎汤，调服一丸，用至二三丸即醒。
惊风者，防风煎汤，调服一丸，用至二三丸即解。儿枕
痛者，山楂煎汤和沙糖少许，调服一丸，用至二三丸即定。
呕吐者，淡姜汤，调服一丸，用至二三丸，即止。
胞衣不下，干姜炒黑煎汤，调服一二丸，即下。
产下四五日后调理者，用滚汤服一丸。
虚怯者，每周滚汤服一丸，服一月全愈。
胎下不安者，滚汤调服一丸，睡半日，其胎即安。受孕后连服不辍，保全足月，分娩无忧。
不受孕者，滚汤调服一丸至一月，必然有孕。
Nu Jindan (Women's Golden Pill), also known as Sheng Jindan (Victory Golden Pill). It is also called Bao Kun Wan (Uterus-Protecting Pill) and Ji Yin Dan (Yin-Saving Pill).
Formula: Jinhua Xiangfu (Cyperi Rhizoma, 1 jin [approx. 500g], selected clean, soaked in urine of a healthy boy for ten days until sufficient, rinsed clean with clear water, dried, and stir-fried in a clay pot until yellow); Guixin (Cinnamomi Cortex, 5 qian [approx. 18.75g]); Danggui Shen (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, the root body); Baishao (Paeoniae Radix Alba); Baiwei (Clematidis Radix et Rhizoma); Baifuling (Poria); Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix); Danpi (Moutan Cortex); Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma); Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma); Yanhusuo (Corydalis Rhizoma); Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma); Bencao (Ligustici Wallichii Rhizoma); Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma); Moyao (Myrrha); Chishizhi (Halloysit Rubrum [calcined and vinegar-quenched seven times; the last two herbs are not soaked in wine]).
Each of the above herbs is one liang [approx. 37.5g]. Mix them with aged rice wine, let it steep for one quarter-hour (ke), then dry. Grind together with the aforementioned Xiangfu into a fine powder. Form pills using refined honey, each pill weighing two qian [approx. 7.5g]. Coat with Zhusha (Cinnabar). Administer according to the guiding herb method.
For women approaching labor, take one pill mixed with clear water to boost spirit and strengthen qi/energy, ensuring smooth delivery. For difficult labor, take two pills, and delivery will occur immediately. Take one pill mixed with good wine and urine of a healthy boy to clarify the mind and strengthen the body, preventing metrorrhagia (flooding). Taking one pill daily for five or more than ten days will perfect and consolidate qi and blood, naturally preventing other diseases. For metrorrhagia, mix one pill with urine of a healthy boy and boiling water; taking two to three pills will stop the bleeding.
For syncope due to blood loss, decoct Chuanxiong and Danggui, mix with one pill, and taking two to three pills will restore consciousness.
For convulsions (wind-stroke-like symptoms), decoct Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), mix with one pill, and taking two to three pills will resolve the condition. For "Zhenmai" pain (postpartum abdominal pain caused by retained lochia/blood stasis), decoct Shanzha (Crataegi Fructus), add a little rock sugar, mix with one pill, and taking two to three pills will settle the pain.
For vomiting, take one pill mixed with light ginger soup; taking two to three pills will stop the vomiting.
For retained placenta (afterbirth not descending), decoct Gansui (Dried Ginger, charred black), mix with one or two pills, and the placenta will descend.
For conditioning four to five days postpartum, take one pill with boiling water.
For those with deficiency and timidity, take one pill with boiling water once a week; full recovery will be achieved after one month of administration.
For threatened miscarriage/unstable fetus, take one pill mixed with boiling water; after sleeping for half a day, the fetus will become stable. Continuous administration after conception ensures carrying to term, with no worries during delivery.
For infertility, take one pill mixed with boiling water daily for one month; pregnancy will certainly result.
