[Supplementary Discussion]
The term "Erzhen" (Fetal Pillow) refers to blood stasis clumps that existed in the mother's womb prior to delivery. If, during childbirth, this blood breaks up and is expelled along with the fetus, no illness will occur. However, if the产妇's (postpartum woman's) Zang-Fu organs are invaded by wind-cold, causing blood to coagulate and stagnate in the lower abdomen without flowing freely, it will accumulate and cause pain. This condition is called "Erzhen".
