Wei Hou Qing Gao (Marquis Wei's Green Ointment): Treats various diseases. Dizziness caused by chronic illness, nasal congestion with clear discharge and tearing; vomiting and regurgitation caused by Huoluan (cholera-like syndrome); sore throat caused by Shanghan (cold damage); stiffness of the spine, back, head, and neck; hemiplegia, joint contracture, pain, and swelling; sores in the genital area with swelling, erosion, and tissue decay.

Formula: Danggui Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Gualuo Gen Trichosanthis Radicis, Gan Dihuang Prepared Rehmanniae Radix, Gancao Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Shujiao Sichuan Pepper Fruit, Banxia Pinelliae Tuber (each 6 liang), Banxia Pinelliae Tuber (7 he), Guixin Cinnamon Twig Bark, Xiong Chuanxiong Rhizoma, Xixin Asari Radix, Fuzi Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata, Shenhuang (uncertain herb), Huangshi (uncertain mineral), Shinanteng Stemnanthi Caulis.

Preparation and Administration: Decoct in Zhi Pig Fat over a mild fire, repeatedly dipping three times and lifting three times (San Xia San Shang). Once the ointment is ready, for internal diseases, administer with wine, in a dose size of half a jujube; for external diseases, apply topically to the affected area, three times daily.

Wuxiang Zhengqi San (Black Fragrant Qi-Regulating Powder): Treats miscellaneous diseases.

Preparation and Administration: Grind into fine powder. Take in the early morning. If exposed to wind-cold while going out, take 2 qian mixed with Perilla Leaf Decoction. For pain caused by postpartum stagnant blood attacking the heart and spleen, take mixed with child's urine. For women with cold uterus, sallow complexion, and sparse hair loss due to blood deficiency and irregular meridians, take mixed with rice water. For women's hair loss due to blood deficiency and irregular meridians with lack of luster, take mixed with vinegar decoction. For women's blood labor, blood masses, and blood disorders with pain from qi and blood attack, take mixed with Danggui and Frankincense wine. For women with excessive menstruation and unstoppable metrorrhagia, burn mugwort ash (one zhan), take mixed with wine and vinegar. For women with qi and blood rushing to the heart, blocked qi and blood, and turbid and uneven blood vessels, take mixed with Yuanhua wine. For difficult childbirth, swallow 37 seeds of Suancao (Sour Grass), taken with child's urine; if seeds are unavailable, use leaves or roots. For men and women with blood wind and blood heat causing generalized redness and itching, gradually forming leprosy, take mixed with Jingjie wine. For men and children with abdominal pain and bloody dysentery from intestinal toxins, take dried and roasted Ceylon Cassia Bark. For men's small intestine qi, bladder and kidney qi disorders. For spirit-induced coma, take Ginseng Decoction. Take mixed in decoction, or with salt water. For abdominal distension and large belly due to parasites, sallow complexion, alternating chills and fever, and nausea, take mixed with wine. For adults and children with cold stomach and excessive phlegm, combine with other herbs. For acute pain and abdominal pain in men, women, and children, men's lower abdominal pulling pain, and women's spleen blood pain, take equal parts Lingzhi Wulingzhi Trogopteri Dung and Puhuang Pollinis Typhae (1 qian each), mixed with vinegar. For frequent nocturia in adults and children, use E'jiao Donkey-Hide Gelatin, stir-fried with Ge Fen Mactris Shell Powder into balls, grind into powder, take 2 qian mixed with wine, on an empty stomach. If unresolved, with alternating diarrhea and dysentery and disharmony of qi and blood, take mixed with Wu Mei Dry Fructus Mume, Ganjiang Dried Zingiberis Rhizoma, and Gancao Decoction. For adults and children with accumulation, take natural juice (2 he) mixed with well water.

Chenxiang Ruyi Wan (Agarwood Ruyi Pills): Formula from Tiantai Luohan. Treats hundred diseases in men and women.

Add 50 northern dates peeled and pitted, refine together with honey until drops form beads that do not disperse in water.

Shenling Dan (Spiritual Pill) (from *Yixue Qiewen*):

Formula: Xingren Prunus Armeniaca Seed (49), Banxia Pinelliae Tuber (49), Badou Crotonis Fructus (49), Fangfeng Saposhnikoviae Radix (remove rhizome), Huashi Talcum, Caowutou Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix (prepared), Xionghuang Realgar.

Dosage varies by depth of condition. Take with Shengma Decoction. For scabies and sores, take with Bajieli, Gancao, and Shengma Decoction. To expel wasting-thirst parasites, take on an empty stomach with Sangbaipi Decoction. For spleen issues, take with decoction. For cough with phlegm, take with Shengjiang Decoction. For injury from alcohol and food, take with the specific substance. For podagra, take with Binglang Decoction. For bloody dysentery, for trauma with internal stasis, take with child's urine. For ten types of edema with swollen limbs, take with Daji Decoction. For all malaria, take seven slices with decoction. For constipation, take with Maziren Decoction.

Shenxian Ruyi Wan (Immortal Ruyi Pills) (from *Yangshi Jiacang Fang*): Treats all wind-labor, qi-cold, heart-abdominal accumulation, bi-cold malaria, purulent bloody dysentery, and lingering dysentery in men and women. For spleen-deficiency diarrhea, use seven Chen'ai Artemisiae Argyi Folium hearts, three jujubes, one piece of Ganjiang, size of a soap nut, decoct in one cup of water. After healing for a month, eat only bland congee. For cold-heat qi masses, chew dry and take with plain water. For all food and alcohol injuries, take with Shengjiang Decoction. For red and white discharge, take half liang of ash, roasted warm, mixed with rice water. For excessive cold tears, take with boiled pepper-salt water. For summer heat and hot cough, take with lactose and Shengjiang. For cold stranguria, take Huixiang, Mutong, and Haijinsha powder mixed with wine. For men's small intestine, take fried Huixiang with salt and wine. For women's red and white leukorrhea, quench in vinegar and send down. Jingjin Wutou Wan (Tribute Wutou Pills) (from *Weisheng Jiabao Fang*): Treats five-zang diseases, intra-abdominal accumulations, chronic qi masses large as a bowl or small as a cup, or cold qi wind-abscesses, stubborn bi, injuries. Can eliminate diseases of the gaohuang region.

Formula: Chuanwu Aconiti Radix (prepared, remove skin and tip, 2.5 liang), Huanglian Coptidis Rhizoma (remove stamens), Rougui Cinnamon Bark, Ganjiang Dried Zingiberis Rhizoma (prepared), Chuanjiao Sichuan Pepper Fruit (stir-fry, remove eyes), Yuanzhi Polygalae Radix (remove heart), Yuzhuyu Corni Fructus (wash, roast), Nong... Ya Zaojiao Gleditsiae Sinensis Spina (roast, remove black... up to five).

Wuyao San (Lindera Powder) (from *Weisheng Jiabao Fang*): Treats spleen injury, summerheat injury, wind injury, qi injury, cold-induced vomiting and diarrhea, diarrhea, nausea, chills and fever, headache, heavy body, fatigue. Adults, children, pregnant women, and unmarried women. Take according to time, with boiling water or wine.

Formula: Zige, Shigypsum Fibrosum, Renshen Ginseng Radix, Danshen Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix, Zican Lithospermi Radix, Kushen Sophorae Flavescentis Radix, Xuanshen Scrophulariae Radix, Xixin Asari Radix, Qiyan (uncertain), Daizhe Hematitum, Congrong Cistanche Caulis, Badou Crotonis Fructus, Wutou Aconiti Radix (each...). Yellow-white, combined with abdominal swelling, indeterminate color, emaciation and weakness, sexual weakness and scanty essence, cold essence, mottled body, falls from height, severed injuries and miscarriage, post-injury damaged blood, scorched skin and flesh, irregular menstruation (early or late), cessation of menstruation, chest fullness, heavy shoulders and arms, hundred diseases in children, pediatric masses, undigested milk accumulation, constant high fever in children, internal abdominal diseases. Taking this will surely cure. Especially makes one plump, pleasant complexion, strengthens yang, improves appetite. Not suitable for those with heat conditions.

Formula: Fanshi Alum (soaked overnight, 2 liang), Xuanfuhua Inulae Flower, Gui Cinnamon Bark (remove rough bark), Zhishi Immature Bitter Orange Fruit (soak, remove core, bran-roasted), Renshen Ginseng Radix (each 5 fen), Ganjiang Dried Zingiberis Rhizoma, Shaoyao Paeoniae Radix (remove skin, ginger-processed). Size of wutong seeds. Take with fluid.

Treating eye, head, face, teeth, nose, lips, ear diseases (from *Bencao Fang*): Use Pipaye Loquat Leaf, remove hairs, roast dry, grind to powder. Take 1-2 qian mixed with tea, three times daily.

Yangshi Neidi Huang Wan (From *Yonglei Qianfang*): Treats acupuncture damaging meridians, continuous pus discharge.

Formula: Huang (8 liang), Danggui Radix Angelicae Sinensis (3 liang), Rougui Cinnamon Bark, Muxiang Aucklandiae Radix, Rushi Frankincense Resin (separately ground), Chenxiang Agarwood Heartwood (each 1 liang). Grind to powder, mix with Miantu Wheat Starch (4 liang).

Qianjin Wan: Treats wind-stroke deficiency-cold, retained food, diaphragmatic qi, choking qi, five accumulations and six aggregations, reverse stomach vomiting, chest and abdominal fullness, stabbing pain, acid regurgitation, bitter taste, qi depression, excessive phlegm and fluid retention, cold. All primarily treated by this.

Formula: Wutou Aconiti Radix, Fuzi Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata, Chuanjiao Sichuan Pepper Fruit, Guixin Cinnamon Twig Bark, Wuzhuyu Evodiae Fructus, Changpu Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma, Yuanzhi Polygalae Radix, Renshen Ginseng Radix, Fuling Poria, Cangzhua Atractylodis Lanceae Rhizoma, Zhike Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, Huixiang Foeniculi Fructus, Shenqu Massae Fermentatae Medicinalis, Huoxiang Pogostemonis Herba. One pill.

Chao Qiandan Method (from *Bencao*): Use 1 jin lead, 2 liang native sulfur, 1 liang saltpeter. First melt lead into liquid, add vinegar dropwise. When rolling boil, add a small piece of sulfur, and continue... Treats five-zang hundred diseases, nourishes soul and spirit, benefits qi and brightens eyes, unblocks blood vessels, stops irritability and fullness, benefits spirit, kills evil spirits and ghosts. Use Zexiale Alismatis Rhizoma (3 liang), Baizhu Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (2 liang), water 2 sheng, decoct to obtain half sheng. Take warm twice. Shenshi treats fluid retention similarly using Xieshu, but boiling water method differs.
