The condition of Xiao Ke (Wasting and Thirsting Syndrome) accompanied by abdominal distension after drinking water is caused by the abnormal circulation of Water Qi (Water Energy) in the Spleen. The Spleen, affected by Dampness (Pathogenic Moisture), fails to digest grains. The pathogen spreads through the meridians, causing stagnation and obstruction of Qi and Blood.
