When women suffer from blood-qi heart pain, it is caused by the weakness of the zang-fu organs, disharmony of blood and qi, and the invasion of wind-cold pathogenic factors into the Heart. The Heart is the master of all zang-fu organs and governs the Shen (Spirit). Its regular meridians must not be injured; if injured, pain occurs. Therefore, the pain may fluctuate in intensity, leading to the formation of rashes or masses. Some attacks may be fatal, while others are not. If there is heart and abdominal pain, Pusat Tang (Bodhisattva Decoction) can be taken. If a pregnant woman suddenly experiences heart and abdominal pain, failure to treat it urgently will damage the Bao Luo (Uterine Collaterals), inevitably causing fetal movement. In such cases, Renshen Tang (Ginseng Decoction) and Erqi Wan (Two Qi Pill) should be administered. If heart and abdominal internal pain occurs after childbirth, it is due to the deficiency of both blood and qi, and the zang-fu organs not yet being solidified. Having contracted pathogens, pain arises. If untreated, it may transform into dysentery.
