Sores and toxins can transform into pus and blood. If pressing the affected area reveals internal deficiency and uneven muscles, it is because although the heat pathogen has been exhausted, the cold pathogen remains, and the meridians are insufficient to warm the tissues.
If not treated promptly, malignant flesh will regenerate, transforming into cold sores. In such cases, it is appropriate to internally warm the qi and blood, and externally warm the skin and flesh. Once both interior and exterior are warmed, new muscle tissue will naturally grow.
Once the foul fluids are completely expelled, recovery is inevitable.
