Swallow with extremely cold La Cha Qing (Winter Tea Decoction) before bedtime. The dosage is adequate when efficacy is observed.
A female relative suffered from this condition for ten years. All physicians consulted were ineffective. Suddenly, a Daoist priest sold this medicine and casually gifted one dose. That night, symptoms reduced by half. After several doses, she was suddenly cured. She then spent a large sum of money to beg for this prescription. I have used it repeatedly to save people, relying on its miraculous nature.

The Spleen dislikes dampness; the Kidney dislikes dryness. Substances such as Liuhuang (Sulfur), Fuzi (Prepared Aconite Root), and Zhongru (Stalactite) used in alchemy are all rigid/hot agents. Using them to assist Yang qi and connect true qi is acceptable. However, claiming they tonify the Kidney targets what the Kidney dislikes. Ancient prescriptions for kidney tonification all used moistening/nourishing herbs. Thus, Zhang Zhongjing's Bawei Wan (Eight-Ingredient Pill) was originally called Shenqi Wan (Kidney Qi Pill), using Dihuang (Rehmannia Root) as the principal herb. Similarly, Shenli Tang (Kidney Drip Decoction) truly tonifies the Kidney meridian. Recently, Xiangrong Wan has become popular for tonifying the Kidney meridian. Several other formulas are listed below; Shenli Tang is presented in the next section.
Daoist Deep Shi’s modified Shenli Tang treats wind-deficiency consumptive damage complicated by toxicity, weak painful legs with numbness or paralysis; lower jiao deficiency-cold, slight guest-heat in the chest. Heart administration ensures recovery. This is a formula for flexible modification.

The above twenty-three ingredients are chopped. Boil goat kidneys in 2 hu of water, obtain 1.2 sheng of juice. Add all herbs and decoct to obtain 4 sheng. Divide into five doses. If constipation occurs, remove Longgu and Chishizhi. If urination is difficult, replace Fushen with Chifuling (Red Poria) and add Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizoma) 3 liang. If heat is prominent, add Huangqin (Scutellaria Root) 1 liang. If enuresis occurs, add Sangpiaoxiao (Mantis Egg Case) 20 pieces.
