Seal the bottle mouth with wax paper, suspend it in a well for half a day to remove the "fire qi" (heat/toxicity from processing), lift it out and boil again for half a day to remove moisture, then store. Every morning and afternoon, take three spoonsful, mix with about one liang of warm wine, or white water (rice soup) is also acceptable. The preparation must be done in a clean room; avoid chickens, dogs, and women. This formula originally did not contain Hu Po (Amber) and Chen Xiang (Agarwood); these were added by an Immortal, claiming extraordinary efficacy. I record this formula here as well.

Add the three ingredients (Xing Ren, etc.) into the bottle, seal tightly with paper, and steam over boiling water for one day and night. Take out and let cool completely. Dissolve one or two spoonfuls in white water on an empty stomach.

This occurs when pathogenic factors clash with the Lung, causing Qi stagnation and obstruction, leading to cough and asthma, rebellious Qi, and swelling of the face and eyes. Store in a clean porcelain vessel. Take one spoonful mixed with warm wine, rice drink, or white water three times daily. After seven days, sputum color turns white; after fourteen days, sputum becomes thin; after twenty-one days, cough stops.
