上二味等分，相和捣作饼子，焙干为末，炼蜜丸，桐子大。每服百余丸，空心温酒送下。
（《局方》）青娥丸 治肾虚腰痛，益精助阳，乌须壮脚力，妇人随证用引吞送，神效。

上为末，用蒜四两，捣膏和丸，桐子大。每服三、五十丸，空心温酒送下。一法不用蒜
，以酒糊为丸，或炼蜜为丸，服者更佳。按，此方可加巴戟肉、大茴香各四两为尤妙。或再

（《良方》）加味青娥丸 补诸虚不足，滋益阴阳，美容颜，健腰膝，止腰痛尤效。

安肾丸 方在热阵。治肾经积冷，下元衰弱。
小安肾丸 方在热阵。治肾气虚寒，多溺，腰膝沉重。
石刻安肾丸 方在热阵。治真气虚惫，梦遗便数，脚膝软弱。
红铅丸 一名一气丹。一名人精妙合丸。
紫河车（用头产壮盛男胎者一具，以银针挑去紫血，米泔水洗净，用酒、醋炖烂焙干）
人乳（以瓷罐盛晒干者四两。或以茯苓末一两收晒至五两者亦可） 秋石（以童男女小便炼成
者，四两） 红铅（亦名先天梅子，五钱，此室女初次经血。扣算女子年岁，凡五千四十八日，即

上为细末，炼蜜为丸，每丸重七厘。此药俗传云以人补人，得先天之气，神妙不可尽述

（《海藏》）益血丹 治大便燥，久虚亡血。

上为末，炼蜜丸，弹子大。细嚼酒下一丸。
（《集要》）四神丸 治禀赋虚弱，小便频数不禁。

上为末，酒煮山药糊丸，桐子大。每服五十丸，空心盐汤下。
（《局方》）虎骨四斤丸
宣州木瓜（去穣） 天麻（去芦） 肉苁蓉（洗净） 牛膝（焙干，各一斤） 附子（炮去皮脐，二
两） 虎骨（酥炙，一两）
上先将前四味用无灰酒五升浸，春秋五日，夏三日，冬十日，取出焙干，入附子、虎骨
，共为末，用前浸药酒打面糊丸，梧子大。每服五十丸，食前盐汤送下。
加味四斤丸 治肝肾二经气血不足，足膝酸痛，步履不随，如受风寒湿毒以致香港脚者，
最宜服之。

上各为末，先将木瓜、苁蓉捣膏，加酒糊和杵丸，桐子大。每服七、八十丸，空心温酒

（《三因》）加味四斤丸 治肾虚肺热，热淫于内，致筋骨痿弱，不能收持。

故用此以养阳滋阴，阴实则水升火降矣。
金刚丸 治肾损骨痿不能起床，宜此益精。
萆 杜仲（姜汁炒） 肉苁蓉（酒洗） 菟丝子（制）
上用酒煮猪腰子捣丸，桐子大。每服五、七十丸，空心温酒送下。
人参膏
用人参十两，细切，以活水二十盏浸透，入银石器内，桑柴火缓缓煎取十盏，滤汁，再
以水十盏，煎渣取汁五盏，并入前汁，合煎成膏，瓷瓶收贮。随证作汤使调服。丹溪云∶多
欲之人肾气衰惫，咳嗽不止，用生姜橘皮煎汤，化膏服之。浦江郑兄，五月患痢，又犯房室
，忽发昏运，不知人事，手撒目暗，自汗如雨，喉中痰鸣，声如拽锯，小便遗失，脉大无伦
，此阴亏阳绝之证也。予令急煎大料人参膏，仍与灸气海十八壮，右手能动。再二壮，唇口
微动。遂与膏服一盏半，夜后服三盏，眼能动。尽三斤，方能言而索粥，尽五斤而痢止，至
十斤而全安。若作风治则误矣。一人背疽，服内托十宣药已，多脓出，作呕，发热，六脉沉
数有力，此溃疡所忌也。遂用大料人参膏，入竹沥饮之，参尽十六斤，竹伐百余竿而安。后
经旬余，值大风拔木，疮复起有脓，中有红线一道，过肩胛抵右肋。予曰∶急作参膏，以芎
归橘皮作汤，入竹沥、姜汁饮之，尽三斤而疮溃，调理乃安。若痈疽溃后，气血俱虚，呕逆
不食，变证不一者，以参 归术等分，煎膏服之最妙。
(From *Bai Yi Xuan Fang*) Busui Dan (Marrow-Replenishing Pill): Treats weakness and kidney injury in the elderly, resulting in lower back pain with inability to bend or extend.
Eucommiae Cortex (Du Zhong) (10 liang) Psoraleae Fructus (Bu Gu Zhi) (stir-fried with 5 liang of Sesame Seed until sesame turns black and silent, discard sesame, use 10 liang of herb) Cervi Cornu Pantotrichum (Lu Rong) (4 liang, scalded to remove hair, soaked in wine and stir-fried)
Grind the above into powder. Use 30 Walnut Kernels (Hu Tao Rou), soak and peel, pound into a paste, add a little flour, boil into a paste to form pills, size of Sophora seed (Wu Tong Zi). Take 100 pills per dose, with warm wine or salt water as needed.
Gouqi Zi Wan (Goji Berry Pill): Treats seminal emission due to kidney deficiency, replenishes essence and qi.
Gansu Goji Berry (Gan Zhou Gou Qi) Polygonati Rhizoma (Huang Jing) (steamed nine times and dried nine times)
Take equal parts of the two herbs, mix and pound into cakes, dry by baking, grind into powder, mix with refined honey to form pills, size of Sophora seed. Take over 100 pills per dose, with warm wine on an empty stomach.
(From *Tai Ping Hui Min He Ji Ju Fang*) Qing E Wan (Green Elm Pill): Treats lower back pain due to kidney deficiency, benefits essence and aids yang, darkens beard/hair, strengthens leg power. Women should take according to symptoms with guiding herbs; effect is miraculous.
Psoraleae Fructus (Po Gu Zhi) (4 liang, stir-fried until fragrant) Purified Eucommiae Cortex (Du Zhong Jing) (8 liang, stir-fried with ginger juice) Walnut Kernels (Hu Tao Rou) (10 liang)
Grind the above into powder. Use 4 liang of Garlic, pound into paste, mix with powder to form pills, size of Sophora seed. Take 30-50 pills per dose, with warm wine on an empty stomach. Another method: do not use garlic; use wine paste or refined honey to form pills, which is better for the patient. Note: This formula can be enhanced by adding Morinda Officinalis Root (Ba Ji Rou) and Fennel Fruit (Da Hui Xiang), 4 liang each. Adding Cistanche Stem (Rou Cong Rong) is also acceptable.
(From *Liang Fang*) Jia Wei Qing E Wan (Modified Green Elm Pill): Treats various deficiencies, nourishes yin and yang, beautifies complexion, strengthens waist and knees, especially effective for stopping lower back pain.

Shi Bu Wan (Ten-Replenishment Pill): Formula found in "Re Heat Section". Treats kidney deficiency cold syndromes.

Prepare pig kidneys as food, pound into paste, add refined honey, pound over a thousand times to form pills, size of Sophora seed. Take 50-70 pills per dose, with warm wine on an empty stomach. Very effective for lower back pain preventing rising.

Grind the above into powder. Take one pig kidney, slice thinly into 5-7 slices, marinate with pepper and salt to remove fishy water, sprinkle 3 qian of Eucommia powder inside, wrap in thin pouch, cover with 2-3 layers of wet paper, roast until cooked, eat with wine.
An Shen Wan (Kidney-Anchoring Pill): Formula found in "Re Heat Section". Treats accumulation of cold in kidney meridian, weakness of lower origin.
Xiao An Shen Wan (Small Kidney-Anchoring Pill): Formula found in "Re Heat Section". Treats kidney qi deficiency cold, frequent urination, heavy waist and knees.
Shi Ke An Shen Wan (Stone-Carved Kidney-Anchoring Pill): Formula found in "Re Heat Section". Treats depletion of true qi, nocturnal emission, frequent urination, weak feet and knees.

Soak the first four ingredients in 5 sheng of unadulterated wine for 5 days in spring/autumn, 3 days in summer, 10 days in winter. Remove and bake dry. Add Fu Zi and Hu Gu, grind together into powder. Use the soaking wine to make flour paste and form pills, size of Sophora seed. Take 50 pills per dose, before meals with salt water.
Jia Wei Si Jin Wan (Modified Four-Jin Pill): Treats deficiency of qi and blood in liver and kidney meridians, soreness and pain in feet and knees, unsteady gait, such as Hong Kong Foot (Gout) caused by wind-cold-damp-toxin. Most suitable for this condition.

Liu Zongnong says: According to this formula, it treats heat overflowing internally but uses warming tonics. Why? Because yin blood is weak, blood fails to nourish tendons, tendons relax and cannot self-support. Now yang dryness and heat overflow internally, so this formula is used to nourish yang and yin. When yin is substantial, water rises and fire descends.
