上太阴湿土司天，中少角木运，下太阳寒水在泉。运克天气曰不和，木上克土也，故病甚。
灾三宫，三者，东方震宫也。木气不及，故灾及之。二年杂症甚多，而有微疫，作杂症治之。
癸丑 癸未
上太阴湿土司天，中少征火运，下太阳寒水在泉。运生天气曰小逆，火上生土也，故病亦微。
火运不及之年，热病亦微，而无瘟疫。灾九宫，九，南方离宫也。火运不及，故灾及之。
己丑 己未（俱太乙天符。凡此日得病主危。）
上太阴湿土司天，中少宫土运，下太阳寒水在泉。运临本气之位曰岁会，土运临之，辰戌丑
未土也。其病危，运与气相同，曰天符。灾五宫，五，中宫也，土运不及，故灾及之。土运不及，
而有司天之助，其病亦少。
乙丑 乙未
上太阴湿土司天，中少商金运，下太阳寒水在泉。天气生运曰顺化，土下生金也，民舒无病。
灾七宫，西方兑宫也。金运不及，故灾及之。丑未之岁，太阳当迁正在泉，而厥阴风木，以上年
司天之右间，当降为今岁在泉之左间，故畏地 ，金气窒之也。以上年子午岁气有余，司天少阴
不退位，则右间厥阴，亦不能降下也。
金运承之，降之不下，抑之变郁，郁而为病，木郁金胜，故苍埃见而杀令行。此二年厥阴风木当
降在泉，遇金运承之，降而不下，则木郁于上，发为木疫。药宜龙胆泄肝汤，加羌防研化五瘟丹
送下。
辛丑 辛未（天刑之年。）
上太阴湿土司天，中少羽水运，下太阳寒水在泉。辛年水运不及，而湿土司天胜之，所谓流
涸之纪。天刑之年，土下克水，故曰不相得则病。灾一宫，一，北方坎宫也，水运不及，故灾及
之。丑未年，太阴湿土当迁正司天，而少阳相火以上年在泉之右间，当升新岁司天之左间，故畏
天蓬，水胜之也。丑未阴年不及，故太阴司天未迁正，则少阳左间，亦不得其位。遇辛丑辛未
天蓬之年，则少阳相火被抑，故升天不前，则为火郁，水之胜也。火郁不升，则人病在心包络。
天时则寒 反布，凛冽如冬，水复涸，冰再结，寒暄不时。民病伏阳在内，烦热于中，心神惊
骇，寒热间争，火郁既久，暴热乃生，郁疠乃化，伏热内烦，痹而生厥，甚则血溢，此相火郁发
为病。此二岁少阳相火当升司天，遇水运升之不前，则为火郁，药宜凉
膈散，加知母煎汤量冷，研化五瘟丹服之。阳气退避，大风时起。司天之气，乃湿气下降，地气乃
寒气上升。故原野 ，白埃四起。司天主南，而太阴居之，故云奔南极，雨湿多见于南方。夏
尽入秋，谓之差夏。民病寒热腹满，身胀满， 肿痞逆，寒厥拘急，皆寒湿所化之病。阴凝于上，
寒积于下，寒水胜火则为冰雹，阳光不治，杀气乃行。本年寒政太过，故谷气有余者，宜高宜晚，
以其能胜寒也。不及者，宜下宜早，以其不能胜寒也。民之强弱，其气亦然。
初之气，地气迁，寒乃去，春气至，风乃来，生布万物以荣民，气条舒，风湿相薄，雨乃后。
民病血溢，（风胜于肝。）筋络拘强，关节不利，身重筋痿。（风病在筋，湿病在肉，故为此病。）
二之气，大火气正，物承化，民乃和。客主之气，皆少阴君火用事。其病瘟疠大行，远近咸
若，湿蒸相薄，雨乃时降。
三之气，天政布，太阴湿土司天，故湿气降地，气腾而为雨。三气之后，则太
阳在泉主之，故寒乃随之。感于寒湿，则民病身重 肿，胸腹满，寒凝湿滞。
四之气，少阳相火用事，其气尤烈，故曰畏火，皆相火也。客以相火，主以湿土，火土合气，
溽蒸上腾，故天气痞膈。然太阳在泉，寒风发于朝暮，湿蒸相薄，以湿遇火，故湿化不流，白露
布阴，以成秋令。民病腠理热，血暴溢，疟痢，心腹满热，胪胀，甚则 （同浮。）肿，湿热并行，
故为是病。
五之气，惨令已行，寒露下，霜乃早降，草木黄落，客主之气，皆阳明燥金用事，故其政令如
此，民舒无病。
终之气，寒大举，湿大化，霜乃积，阴乃凝，水坚冰，阳光不治。在泉客主之气，皆太阳寒
水用事，故其政令如此。感于寒则病，令人关节禁固，腰 痛。（腰 与膀胱，皆寒水同类为病。）
以上十年，上湿下寒，故寒湿持于气交。然太阴司天，则水郁，太阳在泉，则火郁。
寅申之岁（戊寅 戊申 甲寅 甲申 庚寅 庚申 丙寅 丙申 壬寅 壬申）
少阳相火司天，岁气火化之候。司天者，天之气也。厥阴风木在泉，地之气也。少阳相火，
炎上克肺金，金受克，则肾水失母，上盛下虚，上攻变生诸疾。其化以火，少阳属相火，亦曰畏
火。凡炎暑赫烈，阳气盛极，皆相火之化，而为炎光赫烈，燔灼焦然。相火淫胜，则金受其制，
故温气流行，金政不平。民病头痛，发热恶寒而疟，热上皮肤痛，色变黄赤，传而为水，身面
浮肿，腹满仰息，泄注赤白，疮疡，咳唾血，烦心，胸中热，甚则鼽衄。病本于肺，（火克肺金。）
相火用事，金气受伤，客热内燔，水不能制，故现诸疾。天府，手太阴肺脉也，在臂 内廉腋下
三寸，动脉应手。金不胜火，则肺气竭而天府绝，死不治。羽虫同天之气故静，毛虫同地之气
故育，在泉木胜则土衰，故 虫不成。
厥阴风木在泉，风淫于地，则木胜土。风胜湿，尘埃飞扬，故地气不明，平野昏昧。木气有
余，故草乃早秀。民病洒洒振寒，数欠，为阳明胃病。自食则呕，身体皆重，为太阴脾病。且厥
阴肝脉，贯膈布胁肋，故又为心痛支满等症。皆木邪淫
胜，脾胃受伤。毛虫属木，同其气故育。木克土，故 虫耗。风木在泉，风行地中，故清毒之物
不生。
Ding Chou and Ding Wei Years
Taiyin Damp-Earth governs the Heaven (Si Tian), Shaojue Wood movement governs the Middle, and Taiyang Cold-Water governs the Earth (Zai Quan). When the movement controls the Heaven Qi, it is called "Disorder" (Bu He), as Wood overcomes Earth from above; thus, diseases are severe.
The disaster falls in Palace Three. Three represents the East Zhen Palace. Because Wood Qi is insufficient, the disaster affects it. In these two years, miscellaneous diseases are numerous, with slight epidemics; they should be treated as miscellaneous diseases.
Gui Chou and Gui Wei Years
Taiyin Damp-Earth governs the Heaven, Shaoshao Fire movement governs the Middle, and Taiyang Cold-Water governs the Earth. When the movement generates the Heaven Qi, it is called "Minor Reversal" (Xiao Ni), as Fire generates Earth; thus, diseases are also mild.
In years where Fire movement is insufficient, heat diseases are mild, and there are no plagues. The disaster falls in Palace Nine. Nine represents the South Li Palace. Because Fire movement is insufficient, the disaster affects it.
Ji Chou and Ji Wei Years (Both are Taiyi Tian Fu. Diseases contracted on these days are critical.)
Taiyin Damp-Earth governs the Heaven, Shaogong Earth movement governs the Middle, and Taiyang Cold-Water governs the Earth. When the movement occupies its own Qi position, it is called "Sui Hui" (Year Meeting). Earth movement occupies the positions of Chen, Xu, Chou, and Wei (Earth). The disease is critical. When the movement and Qi are identical, it is called "Tian Fu" (Heaven符). The disaster falls in Palace Five. Five represents the Central Palace. Because Earth movement is insufficient, the disaster affects it. However, aided by the Si Tian Qi, despite Earth movement being insufficient, diseases are fewer.
Yi Chou and Yi Wei Years
Taiyin Damp-Earth governs the Heaven, ShaoShang Metal movement governs the Middle, and Taiyang Cold-Water governs the Earth. When Heaven Qi generates the movement, it is called "Shun Hua" (Smooth Transformation), as Earth below generates Metal; people are comfortable and disease-free.
The disaster falls in Palace Seven, the West Dui Palace. Because Metal movement is insufficient, the disaster affects it. In Chou and Wei years, Taiyang Cold-Water should move to become Zai Quan. The Jueyin Wind-Wood, previously the Right Intermittent Qi of the previous year's Si Tian, should descend to become the Left Intermittent Qi of this year's Zai Quan. However, it fears the obstruction by Earthly Metal Qi. Due to the excess of Zi Wu year's Si Tian Qi, Shaoyin君Fire did not retreat, so the Right Intermittent Jueyin Wind-Wood could not descend either.
Metal movement receives and suppresses it, preventing descent. Suppression leads to stagnation (Yu), which becomes disease. Wood stagnation with Metal dominance causes grey dust to appear and killing commands to execute. In these two years, Jueyin Wind-Wood should be Zai Quan but is met with Metal reception, failing to descend. Thus, Wood stagnates above, erupting as a Wood epidemic. Medication should use Longdan Xiegan Tang (Gentian Liver-Draining Decoction), added with Qianghuo and Fangfeng, ground with Wuwen Dan (Five Plagues Pill) and taken with water.
Xin Chou and Xin Wei Years (Tian Xing Year)
Taiyin Damp-Earth governs the Heaven, Shaoyu Water movement governs the Middle, and Taiyang Cold-Water governs the Earth. In Xin years, Water movement is insufficient and is overcome by Taiyin Damp-Earth, known as the "Flowing Dry Era." In a Tian Xing year, Earth below overcomes Water, termed "Incompatibility leads to disease." The disaster falls in Palace One. One represents the North Kan Palace. Because Water movement is insufficient, the disaster affects it. In Chou and Wei years, Taiyin Damp-Earth should move to become Si Tian. Shaoyang Minister-Fire, previously the Right Intermittent Qi of the previous year's Zai Quan, should ascend to become the Left Intermittent Qi of the new year's Si Tian. However, it fears Tian Peng (Water) and is overcome by Water. Chou and Wei are Yin years with insufficiency, so Taiyin Si Tian does not move into position, and Shaoyang Left Intermittent cannot take its place. Encountering Tian Peng in Xin Chou/Xin Wei years, Shaoyang Minister-Fire is suppressed, ascending slowly, leading to Fire Stagnation (Huo Yu), caused by Water dominance. If Fire stagnates and does not ascend, people suffer from Pericardium diseases. Weather is cold, spreading bitterly like winter; waters dry up, ice forms again, and cold/warmth are irregular. People have latent Yang inside, irritability and heat in the center, fright and palpitations, alternating cold and heat. Prolonged Fire stagnation generates sudden heat, transforming into stagnant plagues. Internal heat causes vexation, bi syndrome leads to jue, and severely, blood hemorrhages occur. This is Minister-Fire stagnation erupting into disease. In these two years, Shaoyang Minister-Fire should ascend to Si Tian but is blocked by Water movement, causing Fire Stagnation. Medication should use Liangge San (Cool the Chest Powder), boiled with Zhimu, cooled, ground with Wuwen Dan, and taken. Yang Qi retreats, great winds rise. Si Tian Qi descends as dampness, Earth Qi rises as cold. White dust rises across fields. Si Tian governs South, occupied by Taiyin, hence "Rushing to South Pole," with rain/dampness common in the South. End of summer entering autumn is called Cha Xia. People suffer from cold/heat, abdominal fullness, body distension, edema,痞逆, cold jue, and stiffness, all transformed from cold-dampness. Yin condenses above, cold accumulates below. Cold-water overcoming fire causes hail; sunlight fails, killing qi acts. This year's cold policy is excessive. Grains with sufficient Qi should be planted high and late to withstand cold. Insufficient ones should be planted low and early. People's strength mirrors their Qi.
First Qi: Earth Qi moves, cold departs, Spring Qi arrives, wind comes. Life spreads, things flourish. Qi is smooth. Wind and dampness interact, rain follows. People suffer from blood hemorrhage (Wind dominates Liver), tendon stiffness, joint difficulty, heavy body, and tendon atrophy (Wind disease in tendons, dampness in flesh).
Second Qi: Great Fire Qi is correct, things receive transformation, people are harmonious. Guest and Host Qi are both governed by Shaoyin君Fire. Epidemics spread widely, affecting all distances equally. Dampness steams together, rain falls timely.
Third Qi: Heaven Policy spreads. Taiyin Damp-Earth governs Heaven, so dampness descends, rising as rain. After Third Qi, Taiyang Zai Quan governs, so cold follows. Contracting cold-dampness causes heavy body, edema, chest/abdominal fullness, cold coagulation, and damp stagnation.
Fourth Qi: Shaoyang Minister-Fire governs, its Qi is fierce, hence called "Feared Fire." All are Minister-Fire. Guest is Minister-Fire, Host is Damp-Earth. Fire and Earth combine, humid heat rises, causing chest oppression. However, Taiyang Zai Quan brings cold wind morning and evening. Dampness steams, meeting fire, so dampness transformation does not flow. White dew spreads yin, forming Autumn command. People suffer from pore heat, sudden blood overflow, malaria/dysentery, heart/abdominal fullness/heat, distension, and severe edema. Damp-heat runs parallel, causing these diseases.
Fifth Qi: Severe commands act. Cold dew descends, frost falls early. Grass/trees yellow/fall. Guest and Host Qi are both governed by Yangming Dry-Metal. Policy is thus; people are comfortable, disease-free.
Final Qi: Cold rises greatly, dampness transforms greatly. Frost accumulates, Yin condenses, water hardens to ice, sunlight fails. Zai Quan Guest/Host Qi are both governed by Taiyang Cold-Water. Policy is thus. Contracting cold causes disease, locking joints, and lower back pain (Lower back and Bladder belong to Cold-Water, causing similar diseases).
For the above ten years, Upper Damp/Lower Cold means Cold-Damp persists in Qi intersection. Taiyin Si Tian causes Water stagnation; Taiyang Zai Quan causes Fire stagnation.
Yin Shen Years (Wu Yin, Wu Shen, Jia Yin, Jia Shen, Geng Yin, Geng Shen, Bing Yin, Bing Shen, Ren Yin, Ren Shen)
Shaoyang Minister-Fire governs Heaven, showing Fire transformation characteristics. Si Tian is Heaven Qi. Jueyin Wind-Wood governs Earth, Earth Qi. Shaoyang Minister-Fire flares up, overcoming Lung Metal. Metal overcome, Kidney Water loses its mother. Upper excess, Lower deficiency. Upward attack generates various diseases. Transformation is Fire-based. Shaoyang belongs to Minister-Fire, also called Feared Fire. Any intense heat, extreme Yang, is Minister-Fire transformation, appearing as blazing light, scorching and drying. Minister-Fire excess controls Metal, so Warm Qi circulates, Metal policy is uneven. People suffer headache, fever/chills/malaria, skin pain from heat, yellow/red complexion, progression to water disease, facial/body edema, abdominal fullness with仰息, dysentery (red/white), sores/ulcers, coughing/spitting blood, vexation, chest heat, severe epistaxis. Disease originates in Lung (Fire overcomes Metal). Minister-Fire acts, Metal injured, guest-heat burns internally, Water cannot control, manifesting diseases. Tianfu point is Hand-Taiyin Lung pulse, three cun inside armpit on inner arm, pulsating. Metal cannot overcome Fire, Lung Qi exhausts, Tianfu cuts off, death is incurable. Feathered creatures quiet due to Heaven Qi similarity. Hairy creatures breed due to Earth Qi similarity. Zai Quan Wood excess makes Earth weak, so naked creatures do not form.
Jueyin Wind-Wood governs Earth. Wind floods Earth, Wood overcomes Earth. Wind overcomes dampness, dust flies, Earth Qi unclear, plains dim. Wood Qi excess, grass blooms early. People suffer chills/shivering, frequent yawning (Yangming Stomach disease). Vomiting after eating, heavy body (Taiyin Spleen disease). Jueyin Liver pulse pierces diaphragm, spreads to hypochondrium, causing heart pain, fullness, etc. All due to Wood evil excess injuring Spleen/Stomach. Hairy creatures belong to Wood, breeding due to Qi similarity. Wood overcomes Earth, so naked creatures decline. Wind-Wood governs Earth, wind moves in earth, so pure/toxin-free things do not grow.
