Xianqi Tang (Decoction for Early Menstruation): Treats menstruation arriving early; cooling blood and stabilizing the menses is appropriate. (The brilliance of this formula lies in halving the dosages. Although it is said that "blood is generated by qi, and vigorous qi generates fire," thus the dosage should not be excessive. Note: The various pill formulas from the general Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction) downwards, along with their preparation methods, each have their own sequence and contain profound principles, truly serving as a bridge for learners and a remedy for patients. Practitioners should emulate them.)

It is not applicable to cases of delayed menstruation due to spleen deficiency failing to generate blood.)
