Zixia Gao (Purple Cloud Plaster): Treats scrofula in the initial stage. If applied before abscess formation, it will dissipate spontaneously; if applied after formation but before ulceration, it will ulcerate spontaneously; if applied after ulceration while the nodule remains, the nodule will detach spontaneously. It also treats various stubborn sores, conditions caused by damp-phlegm and dampness, old and new stick wounds, and persistent pain.
Bright Pine Resin (one jin, refined powder), Verdigris (two liang, refined powder).
Take four liang of sesame oil, boil several times in a copper pot until a drop does not disperse in water. Add pine resin and melt it, then add verdigris.
