The *Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon* states: For hard lesions, use reduction; for retained pathogens, use purgation; for knotted accumulations, use dispersion; for stagnant qi, use unblocking; for protruding conditions, use deprivation; for draining conditions, use suppression. Human Qi and Blood circulate throughout the body, ensuring free flow without stagnation. If emotions such as anger or joy are unregulated, or if excessive worry and overthinking occur, it leads to Qi stagnation and Blood coagulation, resulting in this disease. This condition belongs to the Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian (Zú Yángmíng Wèi Jīng) and the Ren Mai (Conception Vessel). Qi condenses in the upper part, while Blood fails to flow downward, so it often manifests in areas with loose skin such as the neck, nape, abdomen, and hypochondrium. Over time, Qi and Blood gradually decline, losing their ability to attack pathogens. There are five types of Ying (Goiter): Rou Ying (Flesh Goiter), Jin Ying (Sinew Goiter), Xue Ying (Blood Goiter), Qi Ying (Qi Goiter), and Shi Ying (Stone Goiter). There are six types of Liu (Tumor): Gu Liu (Bone Tumor), Zhi Liu (Fat Tumor), Rou Liu (Flesh Tumor), Jin Liu (Sinew Tumor), Xue Liu (Blood Tumor), and Shi Liu (Stone Tumor). Among these two categories, only Qi Ying can be resolved, and Zhi Liu can be ruptured; other syndromes should not be treated aggressively. It is frequently observed that pus and blood leak endlessly after ulceration, ultimately becoming incurable. To resolve internally via herbal medicine, salty substances must be used to soften hardness, rich flavors should be avoided, and sexual intercourse must be abstained from.
