Zhiqiao (Bitter Orange Fruit, removed pith, stir-fried with flour) Qian Niu Zi (Pharbitidis Semen, stir-fried, take the first powder) Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix) Qingpi (Green Tangerine Peel, each one tael) Gancao (Licorice Root) Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma)
The above ingredients are ground into fine powder. Select soap pods (Gleditsiae Fructus) about one chi in length, three stalks (approximately three taels), roast until charred and crush. Boil in good wine until soft, squeeze to extract juice, and simmer into a thick, sticky paste. Mix with the aforementioned drug powder to make pills, sized like Sophora japonica seeds. Take thirty to fifty pills per dose, after meals, with scallion tea. Administer twice daily.
Neixiao Wan (Internal Resolution Pill): Treats early-stage carbuncles and swellings, as well as scrofula tubercles, where heat-toxin is stagnant; administration leads to internal resolution, with great efficacy.
Qingpi (Green Tangerine Peel) Chenpi (Aged Tangerine Peel, each two taels) Qian Niu Zi (Pharbitidis Semen, eight taels, take the first powder, two taels) Bohe Ye (Menthae Haplocalycis Folium, eight taels) Zaojiao (Gleditsiae Fructus, eight taels, select non-borer ones, remove coarse skin, crush, boil in ten dou of cold water until extremely soft, squeeze juice, remove dregs, simmer into paste)
Mix the powders of Qingpi and Chenpi with Qian Niu Zi powder evenly. Use the aforementioned paste to form pills, sized like mung beans. Take thirty pills per dose, after meals, with Schizonepeta, clear tea, or warm water.

Grind the above six ingredients into an extremely fine powder. Take two chicken eggs, discard yolks, use only whites to mix the medicine, return to the shell. Seal with several layers of wet paper, steam in a rice steamer until cooked, take out, dry in sun, and grind into powder. For deficiency patterns, take half a qian; for excess patterns, take one qian, mixed with stir-fried ginger wine at dawn (wugeng). If lower abdominal pain occurs, take one dose of Yiyuan San; toxins will be expelled via stool. Pregnant women must not ingest. After toxin removal, frequently administer Yiqi Yangrong Tang; the wound will heal naturally.
(The *Jingyao* states: Treating scrofula with Bixiao San and Gualou San alternately yields miraculous effects. Later, some used Bixiao San indiscriminately regardless of deficiency or excess, unaware that Banmao is potent and highly toxic, promoting urination and breaking blood, severely damaging yuan qi. If qi and blood are excess, using this to attack pathogens followed by tonics may cure. If deficiency uses this, or employs cauterizing agents, although necrotic flesh is removed, the wound fails to close, leading to untreatable conditions.)
Jiming San (Crowing Rooster Powder): Treats qi stagnation pain and heat-toxin tubercles, or cases with much irritability, heat, and no chills.
Qian Niu Zi (Pharbitidis Semen, one tael) Hufen (Lead White, one qian) Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, steamed, two qian) Puxiao (Mirabilitum, refined powder, three qian)

Crack open the top of one chicken egg slightly, insert medicine, seal with paper, steam on rice until cooked. Remove, peel shell, cut open, discard medicine. At dawn on an empty stomach, chew with rice. When urination becomes smooth, urine resembling rice wash water and lipid-like substance indicates efficacy. If bowel or bladder obstruction persists, take Hubo San (Amber Powder) two to three doses to promote flow. Then frequently take the following two medicines for best results.
