Feishi (Flying Corpse) is one of the five types of Shiji (Corpse Pathogens). It wanders through the skin and penetrates the Zang-Fu organs. Each time it attacks, it causes stabbing pain and changes unpredictably; thus it is called Feishi (Flying Corpse).
If a pregnant woman contracts this disease, it will also damage the fetus.
Lin Syndrome (Strangury) is caused by Kidney Deficiency combined with Heat in the Bladder. When Kidney Qi is deficient and fails to control water metabolism, urination becomes frequent. Heat in the Bladder causes urine flow to be obstructed and涩 (astringent/stagnant). The combination of obstruction and frequency results in dribbling and incomplete voiding. In pregnancy, the Bao Gong (Uterus) is connected to the Kidneys. If the Kidneys suffer from Deficient-Heat leading to Lin Syndrome, it is termed Zilin (Pregnancy Strangury).
When a person has excess Qi in the Zang-Fu organs generating internal Heat, illness arises where the Heat accumulates. If Heat binds in the Large Intestine, bowel movements are obstructed; if Heat binds in the Small Intestine, urination is obstructed. If both intestines are bound by Heat, there is vexation and fullness, with both stool and urine being obstructed. Whenever stool and urine are obstructed, internal Heat generates, and the Qi of the Stomach and Intestines rebels upward, causing dry retching.
When the San Jiao (Triple Burner) and the Five Zang Organs are disharmonious, Cold and Heat bind together, depleting and drying up body fluids. This leads to stagnation and涩ness in the Stomach and Intestines, with damp-heat accumulating and knotting between the intestines. This results in constipation, abdominal distension, vexation, and heat; in severe cases, it transforms into dry retching. This occurs because Heat Qi in the Stomach rebels upward.
When Cold and Heat Qi are not harmonious and invade the Large and Small Intestines, it is called Youqi (Wandering Qi), causing Qi stagnation and the generation of Heat. Alternatively, in a Heat disease, Heat enters the Large and Small Intestines, causing difficulty in both defecation and urination. Whenever defecation and urination are difficult, there is fullness in the Heart and hypochondrium, inability to eat, and restlessness/vexation.
Clear and frequent urination indicates Kidney Deficiency and Cold in the Bao Gong (Uterus), which fails to warm and control urination, resulting in frequent urination.
The Kidney and Bladder are exterior-interior related and jointly govern water metabolism, with Kidney Qi connecting to the external genitalia. Kidney Deficiency generates Heat; Heat causes urinary涩ness (stagnation), while Deficiency causes frequency. When Deficiency and Heat contend, although urination is frequent, it is not smooth or relieving.
The Kidney and Bladder are exterior-interior related and jointly govern water metabolism; water enters the Bao Gong (Uterus) to become urine. If the Zang-Fu organs have Heat, and Heat enters the Bao Gong, it causes difficulty in urination.
Heat in the Small Intestine, entering the Bao Gong (Uterus), causes severe internal Heat binding. This leads to urinary obstruction, accompanied by fullness in the Heart, hypochondrium, and Small Intestine, as well as rapid breathing.
Jingtai (Frightened Fetus) refers to the situation when pregnancy is nearing term or delivery is imminent. At this stage, the fetus's consciousness is established. If subjected to external physical strain or trauma, the fetus inside becomes frightened and agitated.
